In Baltiysk, a town on the Baltic Sea in the Kaliningrad region of Russia, the missile ship "Serpuhov" caught fire. This was a new and, by Russian Navy standards, modern ship that was launched in 2015. According to Ukrainian military intelligence, the fire destroyed the ship's communication and other electronic systems, and its restoration will take a long time.

Hobart invented this chain mechanism to detonate mines for the D-Day invasion. They were placed on tanks. The Brits called them "funnies". While this farmer is not the first to use this method, he and his workers did assemble it and deploy it all on their own. Great ingenuity. They took responsibility for their future.

The latest Ukrainian weapon... Vapes that can be remotely sabotaged...
Imagjhe building vapes that have a GPS, camera, and burst communication capabilities. On a schedule, they burst transmit their location & a few pictures of their surroundings. Then a signal can be sent back to short the Li ion battery. Maybe spice them up with a good sized packet of thermite. Not explosives, because explosives could be sniffed out. Thermite just smells like common metals. Nothing unique about that.
Build them into popular brands of vapes used in Russia. They'll get snuck into all kinds of locations by regular soldiers. Imagine getting a few in silos, ammunition factories, submarines.

In 2000 I was in charge of a crew running new conduit in a hospital. One assistant was an ex-electrical engineer from Romania. Every time we encountered a problem, he just proclaimed it could not be done. That illustrated to me the Russian style indoctrination and training. You just follow established methods and to not try to be creative or seek alternate solutions. Sheep.

Innovation follows the core value that Ukraine is fighting for-freedom. When you are free you can think for yourself, and as Biden reminds Americans, there is nothing we cannot do.
