Favorites-#1,Wizard of OZ, and the East Lake Cherry Dresser. Tip-- When painting a mirror frame, or glass door frame tuck a deck of cards ($1) in between the glass mirror and wood frame, paint the wood, and remove the deck of cards while the paint is still wet--Fast and Easy!
Projects #1 and #8 are my favorites.

All of these projects were phenomenal. Difficult to pick just one. The 1800's dresser be my 1st n the display cabinet be my 2nd choice. Love the green on the benches with the gorgeous fabric seats.

Everything looks fantastic but I have to say the first piece and the Wizard of Oz one are my favorites...love the uniqe style of the first piece and the paint color is perfect for it.....and the Oz piece was beautiful too, the addition of the mica powder to achieve the sparkle teal color was an amazing idea! You are very talented, great job Cory!

My favorite was the wood shop armoire-it would have been cool to paint the inside a contrasting color, too! Loved the fabric on the doors. I often put fabric on the back board on bookcases.

Well, ok, on second thought, even though I said the secretary unit was my fave, I'm looking at the armoire again. I had scored a similar one, which now resides in my dining room as my new "butler's pantry." It's English Arts and Crafts, and I lovingly restored it. Then I found a really cool upholstery fabric remnant, matte-shiny citron green! I used the fabric on the inside back, much like your metallic gold on the secretary. I installed a puck light inside the armoire, and voila! A beautiful surprise when you open the door, and I can see all my "stuff." Had to share that because you always provide the most creative inspiration. Yep, now I'm thinking that your armoire is my favorite.

My favorite is the Wizard of Oz! Love the finish. And a close 2nd, the island. They are all wonderful though. I am back to UA-cam after a couple years away and boy have I missed you all. Thanks for all the inspiration.

I found a stool in my Grandparents' attic. All it needed was a coat of paint and a cover on top. This was in a late February warm spell so I was able to work outside. This was a three step stool. I happily spray painted it and over painted a design on the seat. Not bad for my first attempt at refinishing. It was sitting in my mom's kitchen when we noticed the previous inhabitants. It turns out a coat of paint doesn't completely seal holes. The more the wood warmed, the more the determined prior tenants made themselves known. Wasp after wasp emerged to scope out their new warm habitat. I should have known better. The year before I brought in a branch with papery orb. I put it in the corner of my bed room. The next day all was well. But the second day, I came home to find what seemed like100's of praying mantis babies crawling all over my room.

“Can you believe I can use a piece of furniture that’s over 100 years old!” So adorbs! I have a chest of drawers from the 1710s in regular use. Queen Anne period. Brits love to recycle. ❤

Great video! I thought I'd seen every one of them, but the entryway table with the coat hangers was actually new to me, or maybe I just forgot!:) Last year I inherited something similar from my grandparents and tried to decide what to do with it. It is wood but only pine and has very different finishes on its body. We also have 2 cats, so I am grateful for your textured finish idea. :D
