Hi. My name is Crystal. I just found your channel. I have enjoyed watching your videos. I am an RN and small business owner of a healthcare business in Idaho. I have found it rewarding in the last year to redo furniture and decor items in my home. It’s a fun stress reliever. I appreciate your upbeat sweet personality and like your style. I have really liked Jami Ray vintage channel and have visited her shop in Utah a few times.
My fav the beautiful purple recycle with the Royal gold pulls. The secretary desk in Blue my least. I saw it beautiful in its natural wood. Over all this video was so inspiring.
I did not realize until today that you now are in Texas!! Welcome!! I’ve been following since 2020. I live in Magnolia, Texas! You helped keep me creative and sane while recovering from surgeries back then. Thank you for sharing!
Hard choices . I liked so many flips. The wicker makeover was my favorite simply because I like wicker so much. Least favorite was the first since I didn’t care for the color.
All of them are beautifully made over I'm just amazed that you paint furniture on your carpet I'm a messy painter I paint on canvas sometimes I forget the brush has paint and hold it in my mouth 😂
Haha! Thank you so much! I don't intend to keep this carpet so I am not too worried about it BUT it will be a while before we change is so I just work slowly and carefully
My favourite, I think, is #6 the writing bureau with the blue & gold interior . My least #1 but only because I simply didn’t like the “colour of the year”.
I love the bureau! How do you paint without getting paint all of you is beyond me. I pick up a paintbrush and I am covered. It is beautiful with the original outside in the complete remake inside. Perfect!
Ian the same. My son and we’re painting doors. I said whatever we paint I will be twice as messy. He laughed when we we’re finished. He didn’t have paint on him. Me, I had it everywhere on me. But I enjoy painting
#5 might be the most interesting transformation I've seen on your channel! From cutting up the dresser to using velvet under strips of wood - I'm super impressed by the creativity. 🤯
I love them all, but the purple nightstands are “chef’s kiss!” Also loved the blue and gold inside the desk. I cannot believe you paint furniture on your carpet without a drop cloth! I could never do that…I make such a mess when I paint. 😂
My least favorite is #1 based solely on color. Love the design of the dresser and the hard work you out in to it. Just not a color I would choose. My favorite is #10. Love how you made a print look like an oil painting. Your built-in sofa table is a close second. Such a practical solution placement of accessories and outlets. All flips were good.
Once many years ago I bought a pink dresser and chest of drawers and painted them to use in my youngest son’s bedroom. I spent weeks sanding and prepping it before painting. After months I had completed it and put them in his bedroom. It wasn’t long before the pain started chipping off. I got rid of the whole thing. It was a disaster. You make it look incredibly easy but I didn’t find it to be that way. Before I was through with it, I spent way more on supplies than I should have including an electric sander. To make a long story shorter, that was my first and last attempt at redoing furniture. However, I have a desk and TV stand I would love to have done over but almost no way I will attempt it. Prepping is the worst part. If I could just buy something and paint it I think I could manage that. I am in awe of you though and love watching your shows and love going thrifting.
Cory, your vast energy wears me out! I’m new to your channel and love it. I’m an auctioneer and appraiser, having lived in Toronto, Ontario for 32 years, but I’m back home in Alabama. My darling hubby died last May so I need to get busy as I have a vintage booth, too.
Oh boy Cory on peut dire que tu n'as pas froid au yeux avec une scie dans les mains c'est ce qui s'appelle (opérer)je t'adore tu est incroyable, ne lâche pas. 🧏♀️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍
I really can't choose a least favorite one. I don't really care for purple or blue wood furniture but I think I would actually like it after seeing how nice you made them! Nice job as always ❤
Yes she is very talented and must have a very refined intuitive sense of the diversity of peoples tastes. Maybe even when they don’t know them all, lol. I was absolutely inspired by the purple/gold and I have never been drawn toward that type before…but I have this extra bedroom set, armoire and all. I’m thinking it might need that look. 🤩
Love all these flips! You do such great work. I am planning doing over a desk very similar to the one that you painted blue inside. I'm using blue as well, maybe a bit darker but I am painting the outside. I love paint and you're such an inspiration. Thank you Cory
So, it's a tie for most fav between the oak desk and the console table behind the sectional. I was so afraid that the entire desk was going to turn blue, but it didn't. Thank you!!! The console table is so practical!. least fav is #1, but then I don't like the style of furniture.
Fav...the remake behind the couch. Great use of space and allows a comfortable and cozy feel and bonus, its functional! The least, first one shown. Albeit video doesn't represent true color and all that work is surely appreciated, the color is not on my list of favorites.
It's hard to choose a favorite but I really loved the wicker pieces. Seems like a bit of paint made a huge impact in this transformation and they'd now be perfect for my home too.
I love the vanity/ seat. Everything turned out well done not regarding the colors which is always a matter of choice. I love the table/shelves behind the couch, too.
You are so talented! I thought they were all wonderfully transformed but I especially like the square blue table with the stained top and the mod podged picture in the gorgeous frame. What do you hang your pictures with? ❤
Number 6 the bureau is a love-hate for me lol .... Is it antique? It's so originally gorgeous and looks like good old timey handiwork. You really found a good piece there. I especially love the intricate leaf ornaments on the front, so im very happy you kept those intact and didn't paint over them. I loved it when u cleaned it so well, scrubbed it thoroughly and sprayed the protective layer, You really refreshed it and made the natural wood grain pop! Great job on that. But then you chose to paint with the thick acrylic navy blue paint on the inside.... not my fav color, and not my favorite paint, esp together with the natural shades of the wood. But I liked that you chose a lighter blue fabric as inside padding of the desk. I think that the little cabinet doors on the lower part could also use that lighter blue fabric padding. Overall its a very pretty piece of furniture and you did a great job Corey! Im just not into this shade of navy blue lol I would have used a blue stain instead of the thick opaque paint, Using a stain would have shown off more of the wood grain and still give a pop of color. I also really liked the 2 dark purple nightstands with the golden handles (number 5 i think). Looking whimsical and classy, perfect for a teenager who's into witchy or fairy kind of decor. Well done!
Love all. You always wow me with whatever project you take on. Desk least favorite due to the tone of color. Hands down the green bench with the beautiful fabric is my favorite. Have a wonderful 4th holiday weekend.
You make it to difficult to choose a favorite. The idea of the night stands was great, but the color was .y least favorite. I didn't like painted furniture until I started watching your channel a few years ago.
I'm new to your channel. I love what you accomplished with #4. It was so smart & looks so good. I'm trying to make sense of #5 though. Purple Rain comes to mind. Was Prince your inspiration?
Hello Desert DIY, I'm new to your channel and I am living in Australia. I'm here to learn more, so that I can make a living by flipping furniture. Been looking for tips and products, as most the people I see on UA-cam, are not from Austrralia, so I just might change that soon... Hahaha ~
My favorites are the secretary and the purple night stands. My least favorites are the vanity with the lights and the matching bench. Just don’t care for the final color - but it’s a personal thing.
I love to do makeovers on furniture! I don't sell them, they are just for me. I am having a hard time trying to decide if I should paint my hutch. It is dark stained but my table is too. Just can't decide
Too hard to pick a favourite, Cory but I think my least favourite would be flip #1 simply because I don't care for that style of furniture and the colour is not to my liking. I love the practicality of the console table behind the sofa :-D
Thanks for the motivation girl. Have you ever recovered a chair without a staple gun? Im redoing a chair and don't have staple gun. I bought upholstery nails to attach the fabric. Any tips for doing it this way? Happy 4th. #10
Hi Corey....lots of interesting ideas here for sure. My least favourite one is the last one (the print). My most favourite one is the small dark blue table with the natural wood top. #1 is an interesting concept but the paint colour you used looks weird on my screen, sort of a flesh colour.
Thank you Heather! I'm so glad you gave your input. I also am not a fan of fleshy colors. I was shocked when I saw that this was the color of the year so I gave it a try. It was prettier in person, but still not a color I would choose for my home.
Your family room is so so pretty!
Finishing furniture with a baby on your hip. Now that is a high skill level!
You are so clever! I learn something each time I watch your channel.
I love them all. And you and the hubby complement each other perfectly
Thank you so much! We are opposites and I think that works perfectly for us
Enjoyed every nanosecond of this post🙏💙Loved #3 & #4 & 9.
Love the vanity color. Used this color on nursery for granddaughter. All budget and vintage thrifted items.
How lovely

My fav the beautiful purple recycle with the Royal gold pulls.

So many great flips. Boys bedroom furniture and sofa shelves are my favorites!
Thank you so much Glenda!
I love the bureau! How do you paint without getting paint all of you is beyond me. I pick up a paintbrush and I am covered. It is beautiful with the original outside in the complete remake inside. Perfect!

I definitely like the 2-tone furniture. The clear wood top.
Hi Corey, great video thanks. I love your shop
Thank you so much Gail!
Just wow ! New here to your channel, I have just started re-doing furniture. Your work is stunning, and such great ideas.
Thank you so much Christine
#5 might be the most interesting transformation I've seen on your channel! From cutting up the dresser to using velvet under strips of wood - I'm super impressed by the creativity. 🤯
Wow thank you so much
Love the desk revamped to bedside tables. Very nice❤
My favorite was the couch. Adding that area with power really increased the usefulness. I also like the 3rd one.
Thank you so much!

Hi Barbara! Thank you so much for watching. I appreciate it so much
I especially enjoyed the dancing tacks. That was my favorite piece also.
Love ❤️
Hard to pick a favorite. They all came out wonderful. I do like the purple night stands.
Thank you so much Ana
I think my mom had a dress in that print in the 60s! Love the fringe!!! The green is so perfect with the pattern. Another Cory success.
Love the wicker table and mirror and the secretary desk, and the sofa table is fabulous
I am so glad that you liked them!
And I really loved that blue color in on that dresser and night stand
Thank you! It is only of my all time fav colors
The drop front desk is my fave. Gives me idea of what I can do with my secretary desk! Thanks.
Awesome! I'm so glad I could get your inspiration wheels turning
Great work! My favorite was the purple drawers the least the first one
Thank you so much for sharing Brittney!
My favorites were the pair of purple nitestands, the green bench with the flowered cushion and the bluebonnet painting. However, they were all nice. 😊
Thank you so much for your input Pam. I'm so glad you enjoyed some of my flips!
Thanks for the video and the sweet chatting. I love listening. 🥰
Thank you so much!!! I love chatting with everyone
I love them all, but the purple nightstands are “chef’s kiss!” Also loved the blue and gold inside the desk. I cannot believe you paint furniture on your carpet without a drop cloth! I could never do that…I make such a mess when I paint. 😂
Thank you so much Diana. It takes patience and practice
It’s hard to pick!!! I loved all of them and you make it look so easy! ❤😂
Thank you so much. Doing something you enjoy starts to feel easy with practice :)
Cute little helpers!
Thank you!!!
Everyone of them was good. I found the behind the couch build very creative use of space. Functionality was key and it enhanced the room.
Thank you so much
I have to say all the projects came out really good and loved the color you chose
Thank you so much!
I absolutely love the dressing vanity❤
My least favorite is #1 based solely on color. Love the design of the dresser and the hard work you out in to it. Just not a color I would choose. My favorite is #10. Love how you made a print look like an oil painting. Your built-in sofa table is a close second. Such a practical solution placement of accessories and outlets. All flips were good.
Thank you so much Vicki! I also wouldn't choose that pick color for my own home haha.
Thank you for what you do. Your projects are always beautiful
I think my favorite are the purple night stands.
Thank you so much!
I'm binge watching your videos this am! Wonder & beautiful work!!!❤❤❤

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you much success in your booth and I hope it brings you loads of joy
Love the blue
You are amazing.. not everyone can do what you do.. practice Has made perfect ❤️❤️
My favorite is the living room shelves and the middle table. My least is the purple stands
I cannot pick a favorite! You are perfect at choosing the colors for furniture.
Wow thank you so much for the huge compliment
Oh boy Cory on peut dire que tu n'as pas froid au yeux avec une scie dans les mains c'est ce qui s'appelle (opérer)je t'adore tu est incroyable, ne lâche pas. 🧏♀️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍

I won’t lie; watching someone paint in fast motion raises my anxiety. 😂
That's intetesting
Especially on the carpet
You could always just watch the full videos and skip this one.
Love all these flips! You do such great work. I am planning doing over a desk very similar to the one that you painted blue inside. I'm using blue as well, maybe a bit darker but I am painting the outside. I love paint and you're such an inspiration. Thank you Cory
Thank you so much Janice. Dark blue is a classic beautiful color. It will look great
So, it's a tie for most fav between the oak desk and the console table behind the sectional. I was so afraid that the entire desk was going to turn blue, but it didn't. Thank you!!! The console table is so practical!. least fav is #1, but then I don't like the style of furniture.
Thes are fantastic creations!! Nice job❤
5 and 7 are my favourite
You do so many wonderful flips do you actually sell them all absolutely beautiful 😊😊
I loved project 3, I also liked the purple project except the fabric, all purple would have been stellar I think the fabric would wear over time.
Thank you for your input! I could see that being a possibility about the fabric wearing over time.
Fav...the remake behind the couch. Great use of space and allows a comfortable and cozy feel and bonus, its functional! The least, first one shown. Albeit video doesn't represent true color and all that work is surely appreciated, the color is not on my list of favorites.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!
You are incredibly good at furniture flips Cory!! It’s hard to pick just one but the table behind your sofa is genius! Love them all!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much Kim!!!
It's hard to choose a favorite but I really loved the wicker pieces. Seems like a bit of paint made a huge impact in this transformation and they'd now be perfect for my home too.
Yes I agree! What a great change
I love all your furniture flips. Thanks for sharing, Cory ❤
Thank you so much Gina!!
@@DesertDIY you’re so welcome ❤️
I love the vanity/ seat. Everything turned out well done not regarding the colors which is always a matter of choice. I love the table/shelves behind the couch, too.
Hi Cory what color did u paint the wicker? I couldn’t tell, too fast. Very pretty
It's so relaxing and inspiring to watch you create! I'm taking notes! ❤
Thank you so much! I hope I motivated you!
Definitely! Thank you for sharing your design/color talents with us!
When painting these pieces do you ever spay a varnish over them? What keeps the paint from wearing off? I’m so curious I’ve always wanted to do this.
I wish i could paint that fast!
Very fun vid, I really love all your ideas because you are so very creative with what you come up with. Cant wait to see your dining room and set!
Thank you so much Dar. Congrats again on your booth
You are so talented! I thought they were all wonderfully transformed but I especially like the square blue table with the stained top and the mod podged picture in the gorgeous frame. What do you hang your pictures with? ❤
I use the largest command strips. They hold the most weight
Number 6 the bureau is a love-hate for me lol .... Is it antique? It's so originally gorgeous and looks like good old timey handiwork. You really found a good piece there. Thank you so much Georgie! I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July too
These were all fabulous makeovers! You do such beautiful work! The final one with the beautiful piece of artwork, where did you purchase the frame?
Thank you Margaret, I got it at an estate sale. Hobby lobby tends to have similar frames
What is the product called that you painted the gold part of the lamp base with?
Rub n buff

#5 Is what I consider a real desk. Mine is 66 years old.
First time viewer❤ Love 8,9&10
Hi Macy! So glad you are here!
My dining room table has white spots from hand sanitizer …. Any ideas… not sure if it’s real wood Thank you
Try leaving some mayonnaise on the white spots. Sometimes that works
what state are u in? im in arizona , just wondering in case i ever come across any cool pieces u would like
I moved to Texas from Arizona last year. I must say I miss Arizonas awesome thrift stores
My favorites are the secretary and the purple night stands. My least favorites are the vanity with the lights and the matching bench. Just don’t care for the final color - but it’s a personal thing.
Thank you so much for your input Julia
I love to do makeovers on furniture! I don't sell them, they are just for me. I am having a hard time trying to decide if I should paint my hutch. It is dark stained but my table is too. Just can't decide
I'd say so what you feel is right in your heart. You only live once.
My favorite was the behind the couch shelf, and my least favorite, just because of color, was the green and blue bench.
Thank you so much for sharing Gail
YAY I was first to like 👍
What part of Texas do you live in? We are on Lake Bridgeport east of Denton
I am north of houston
Too hard to pick a favourite, Cory but I think my least favourite would be flip #1 simply because I don't care for that style of furniture and the colour is not to my liking. I love the practicality of the console table behind the sofa :-D
Thank you so much for your input I really appreciate it
Thanks for the motivation girl. Have you ever recovered a chair without a staple gun? Im redoing a chair and don't have staple gun. I bought upholstery nails to attach the fabric. Any tips for doing it this way? Happy 4th. #10
That is definitely possible. I would reccomend folding under all the edges. Start in the back and work your way around and finish at the back again
@@DesertDIY thank you. Your piece's always turn out beautiful. Your channel has been a huge inspiration for me. From the bottom of my heart ty.
I loved the color on the 1st. Kind of a mauve/dusty rose.
