#4 blew my mind. Such a simple process to restore something that would grace the most elegant of settings. . The Victorian Velvet piece was cool too, even though It's not really my style. Agree with you 100% about supporting small businesses for the upcoming Holiday shopping. I frequent a Mom and Pop (or more accurately, a 'father and son') thrift store that is also a food bank. They source the vast majority of their (often jaw-dropping) inventory from storage facility auctions. It is SO easy finding great stuff--often times new--for gifting. I was also able to completely redo both my living room and library with HIGH quality pieces from that store......for mere pennies on the dollar. Some of them needed a bit of tlc/refurb but that's the fun of it all, right Corey? LOL
I love seeing your husband participate. He seems to enjoy it. He is careful and really good at measuring! Many happy years of flipping for everyone. PS... I would have bought that French Country cutie (and the chairs) in a heartbeat.✳✳✳
You have the spirit of a musician! I was a social worker for years so what you do for others really touches me. To rejuvenate my soul each year I went and played music at Bluegrass Festivals. I play guitar. Bless you and your husband!!!
That black dresser is amazing. It's called flocking when it looks like velvet. My mom had wallpaper like that and painted it, and that too looked amazing. You have the most steady hand for painting!!
I loved that side board that you both did. Surprisingly I got teary eyed because it reminded me of when my husband and I were stationed at Ft Bliss in El Paso, Tx he had found a sideboard that I needed so badly. On base you could get furniture if you didn't have any and in the warehouse there wasn't one to be found, but he got me one! Where he got it I didn't have a clue, but got me one he did! That was the nicest thing he ever did for me when we were married.
We are so fortunate to have you making our world a much more beautiful place to live. When I buy something "hand made" or "up-cycled," I feel a bit of the artist's soul is living in my home. The black dresser with the gold trim is overflowing with your soul in it. The person who gets it is so very lucky!
The dresser was a knockout. I’m a shabby chic pastel gal but I loved it 🥰The Buffet turned out better than I thought it would I actually liked it a lot
The black chest may be going to someone with an appreciation of the Gothic style, but I think that it is so sophisticated looking. It reminds me of nice formal wear. Just shows, art is in the eye of the beholder. 🙂👍
Love that peice.. nice lines. I can never find peices like these to work on. 🙄 beautiful. !!!l love the 2nd peice sooo beautiful !!!. Yes nailed it !!! # 4 WOW !!! Blue one is fun. Love them all.love the dry erase boards. Very smart.
#8 circa 1940's. The design is 1800. Though the wood frame is '40's. An aunt had that design. You did nice work on all of them. You must have a huge storage area!
So the way you created the dry erase was to just paint the glass so you could see the letters and the glass takes the dry erase markers? Hummm? How smart! Loved it!
Just beautiful and so amazing. You and your husband are so talented and deserve huge props. A sweet couple to watch work. Over and over you turn poor dilapidated furniture into show stopping pieces. congrats on baby .tyfs❣❣
I just love these projects. The first flip is beautiful and maybe a favorite. My daughter loved the black Victorian Gothic style piece so much that we are going to do her old trunk just like that. You are a great inspiration Corie. It is wonderful that you and hubby love flipping furniture together. Such a sweet family. God Bless!
I’m glad I watched this video because I have a dresser with water damaged veneer that I was wondering how I was going to refinish! You & your hubby make things look so easy!! 😁
Absolutely love your channel, content and little family… where other UA-cam flippers and craftspeople make it their mission to expand their personal wealth and request donations, your altruistic acts and ethos is evidently clear… Wishing you guys lots of luck and hope your little home business grows from strength to strength and your charitable acts continue to bring great comfort to the those you help 💛
If you need to “repair” a glass window like this one, you can use a product called “liquid iron”. It is a paste that dries out, pretending being the iron borders used in the stained glass big windows, used in churches and art works, you just need to secure the pieces not x them to fall off. Then, use this paste to cover the scratches and keep on making other false scratches, so the look of the glass is pretty uniform. You may leave it that way, or precede on to really stain the spaces among the lines made with the paste. You can search for the paste in Michaels or even in Walmart. It comes in a pomade tube with a narrow peak for it to get the look of a vein, when applied.
A BIG thanks to you two!! As a furniture flipper myself I get so much inspiration from your pieces. I like to take old things and make them useful again and I love seeing your projects. And I can see the love that goes into each and every one ❤️. Well done and much thanks for the time you all take to show us your makeovers!
You two have really taken on some big projects!! Alot of big fixes to save the pieces, and what a wonderful job creating all those beauties. So inspiring. Love all of them.
WOW! That dresser makeover is truly amazing. I love what you did with it. I have just discovered your channel and love what you do. The projects you take on need so much work but you just go for it with beautiful and creative and amazing results. Thank you for the inspiration to tackle what seems like fruitless work that become absolute beauties!
Great job! I could watch you all day. I was having such a boring day until I found your video, then I starting having a really good day. You and your husband make a really good team! Keep those videos coming.
Wow!! There wasn't a bad one in the bunch! I'm partial to the piece you made for your family member in the assisted living facility. My parents live in one and I redid an antique entry table for my dad to use as a desk. He is in a wheelchair and the table worked out so well. So, that was my favorite, but I really liked all of them!
This video is sooo inspiring, I have a bedroom set in the far far far back of my garage that I never got the nerves to do, but after seing this I will get to it pretty soon... Thank You !
This was so much fun to watch and remember how dramatic these changes were! I love them all - but my favorite one is still the black “velvet” dresser. She turned out so elegant and fancy. It was also fun to learn where some of these pieces went. I always wonder. You look wonderful and glowing. I hope you’re feeling lots better now.🌸
You guys do amazing work! It does my heart good to see such badly worn pieces of furniture lovingly restored and elevated to a whole new level of appeal and beauty
I’m watching the rest of your video. Just amazing antique finds !!! Absolutely gorgeous pieces !!! Even those side tables are cute 🥰 the sage green with Marable top. I had to throw that red dresser away their was black I guess mold threw it and I couldn’t get it out. So I had to throw it away I couldn’t save it or I would of. All over the dresser. That’s why it was thrown out
Hi I love 💗 what you did to the antique chest you found for free on the side of the road. The 1st one ☝️. Where did you get the sander ? I absolutely hate sanding by hand. WOW 🤩!!!! You find amazing antiques !!! That’s awesome 👏!!!
Which one was your favorite?

My mother had that exact piece, the second dresser that was in the worst shape, in our dining room forever. Weird to see it again in such bad shape.
The sideboard was gorgeous, but the dry erase boards were the more ingenious!

You two have great togetherness. God bless you both.
That dresser is so gorgeous!
That black on black look you have to that sad old dresser is stunning! Wow!
I love seeing your husband participate. He seems to enjoy it. He is careful and really good at measuring! Many happy years of flipping for everyone. PS... I would have bought that French Country cutie (and the chairs) in a heartbeat.✳✳✳
The table the wood grain and all the knots I love
The velvet dresser is stunning.
Thank you!
Your hubby is doing a fine job!
You have the spirit of a musician! I was a social worker for years so what you do for others really touches me. To rejuvenate my soul each year I went and played music at Bluegrass Festivals. I play guitar. Bless you and your husband!!!
That is so great Carol. Thank you!
That black dresser is amazing. It's called flocking when it looks like velvet. My mom had wallpaper like that and painted it, and that too looked amazing. You have the most steady hand for painting!!
Ooo that's good to know thank you so much!
The black floral design on gray is my favorite. So stunning❤

4 was just an amazing piece of furniture. Wow.
The black chest may be going to someone with an appreciation of the Gothic style, but I think that it is so sophisticated looking. It reminds me of nice formal wear. Just shows, art is in the eye of the beholder. 🙂👍
