Good point; that’s a typical requirement in the US! This was her first winter in her tiny home and went well, but she could definitely add skirting in the future and a deck 😁
What an incredibly beautiful tiny house and what a nice girl, she knows what she wants in life and a small house is big enough for this nomad lady !!! 💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻
Germany is so regulated, I am amazed she was able to get this through so easily. It is great that the farmers do this on their land, many elderly alone on their farms that still want to stay on them would be a great option. Housing is so expensive in Germany and difficult to find, this is really wonderful. Bayern is amazing also, and this is a great way to get people in the more remote towns they have. As a Dutch person, I looked into Southern Germany but in the end chose Portugal...i lovs the sun.😊
From what we're learning, tiny house acceptance varies greatly in Germany but is much easier in smaller rural communities. We'd love to visit Portugal one day! 😊
@@TinyHouseExpedition They're pretty accepted in areas where many campers live. My neighbours moved into a tiny house... like 4 months ago. They started out as campers and then build their camper to a bigger house. The most important thing for it to be a legal "long term place" to life it has to fullfill 3 criterias at minimum in all of germany. Other rules may apply (like a red angled roof for example, so the house fits into the "look" of the area) locally, but those 3 rules are generally for germany 1. Connected to the local plumbing/severage system or to a regulated Service. This is to avoid, that ppl just dump their grey and especially greywater as they like. Blackwater is highly regulated and taxed/billed. It has to be cleaned up properly ofc and fixed connection to it has to be made so it is ensured, that the waste-dispisal is secured. 2. Afaik you have to be plugged into the Landline as well to ensure, that you don't produce your energy solely over generators (environment stuff) - but here i'm not sure maybe it only applies if you have electricity at all in your place. 3. It has to be locked in Place so that you cannot just drive avay with it without hassle.
Well put! Also, it just occurred to me that her infrared heater is similar to the Envi heater in so many tiny homes, which has a low wattage making it very compatible with solar 🌞
your house is so perfect for u.. it is very well done inside.. love that u have a dishwasher, and laundry system. the huge closet down stairs is awesome too.. U go Girl!! very nice! Your fridge is too small for me. but it seems to work for u u have everything in your house to call it a house and not a camper.. thanks for sharing
Actually caught the live chat on this video. Y'all always do the most interesting tiny homes. Your ads are always interesting and a few have left me giggling out loud. Thank you for taking us along, I loved it. Cute house too😉
Hy Klaudia, I really liked your presentation, if your infrared panels cannot handle the cold winter, an easy and cost effective solution would be to put a "skirt" like fence around the bottom of the house to limit cold airflow around your house. I find a bit expensive the price you paid for the house and build quality, but i see with different eyes . We also had problems with German regulations,it seems it changes from area to area. If you have the time , I would love to hear your experience with setting the house and following all the regulations which are in place in your area. Stay warm and I wish you a happy tiny life :).
Adorable home with many great features, yet what impressed me the most were her Cushions on her Couch - a Slice of Red Onion and a Slice of Red Cabbage. I want those! These are 2 staple foods in my diet that I really love :)
I love this video! 8:51, that point is HUGE, she fills that up once a month!? She's.. AWESOME! Like... that's amazing, especially being vegan, there's no real big waste! It all goes back to mother earth. Lots of jars! ^_^ Small fridge, but again... Vegan! lol! This house is perfect for her. 12:55 Really curious about this infrared heating, hmm!!! I gotta research that. Given the small foot print, it must put out a lot of heat! I hope to see more video's like these from around the world. ^_^ Thanks THE!
I'm not a vegan, but I live with a small kitchen, (2 gas burners and an under-counter refrigerator), and fill my trash bag every 4 or 6 weeks. We recycle and compost everything possible, so it's mainly a few non-recyclable packaging materials that are thrown away. I carry my 100 l (25 gal) bag out the driveway with one hand.
Love it...Germany is so beautiful but I haven't seen many tiny houses in Germany. There are so many regulations in Germany. Thank you for the useful information.
Lovely tiny home! Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see other countries, and how things are done. Your heating source was very interesting! At a possible -20° do they keep you warm? They are attractive. Bless you, and thanks much❤
green thumb ! Goddess, My Laird. Good video! I am surprised she doesn't have skirting around to help with the heat retention. Black shivering bell thumbs up!
Beautiful home. The one thing we have different here in the US versus the home there in Germany. Is we need a bigger refrigerator. Or let me rephrase that I would need a bigger refrigerator.
We can understand that! After living with an under counter fridge for 6.5 years in our tiny house, our American ‘apartment-size’ fridge in our A-frame feels luxurious 😄
She needed a little space accessible from outside for storing outdoir/sports equipment. I would have just had a shed roof because it is less lumber intensive and reduces weight... Think in floor heating makes a lot of sense in a house like that.
Floor heating is a great idea! She can put up a small shed in the future for her outdoor things. The gabled roof was one of the requirements to get a tiny house parking permit 🙂
I really enjoyed this one. What a beautiful tiny home! Like other commenters here, I really love those heaters - any idea what the brand is? I haven't been able to find that particular one my searches. It's just so pretty!
We don’t really think this luxury but is a great build. But definitely think this part of the future of smaller scale living to address rising costs, limited land & the environment!
Love the house, it's really good they allow living Tiny there. However anyone that can afford to pay off a tiny house in 5 years that cost 58 or 63k has to be on one hell of decent salary and good job to do that solo without help.
Her house is beautiful and functional. Except for me, the fridge is too small. I think in Europe they like small fridges and don't mind going to the store everyday.
It’s really a well-balanced tiny home! Think you’re right about fridge differences in US vs Europe. Many Europeans have commented on our videos when someone mentioned an “apartment-size” fridge 😂

Definitely want to learn more about that. 🤔From what we’ve heard, available land to build new homes is quite limited in many places because it’s mostly all owned.
Its not unusual to have your own house, but very expensive to buy a house. Especially close to the cities. Because of this many people just rent. But now renting close to the cities or in the cities is also expensive. This is a big problem in Germany at the moment.
Somehow, the english subtitles are much worse than what the lady is actually speaking - which is a quite decent, grammatically correct English (albeit with a heavy 'American' / Upper Bavarian 'twang').
Not one of my favorite tiny homes. Lkke the clothes in the kitchen, and not using vertical space , and the pantry right next to it thr spice rack on the way other side of the stove a few other things n more too much to mention.

I've never seen a heater like that. How cool! I'm surprised they don't require skirting the home since it gets so cold in Germany.
