Thanks so much for holding space for me and my story on your platform, Alexis and Christian! 🥰 This home is just one small example of a much more grand movement.
So smart and kind! This is why I love and admire so many of the young people today. You are so on target, and your ADU is beautiful. You've got great taste!
We greatly appreciate your collaboration and had a wonderful time with you! So excited to see follow the growth of GatherADU and see what you do in the future. ❤️ Also hope we get to hang again!
@PreciousPrice I live on the southside of Atlanta also. I would love to speak with you about doing this myself, building is also my thing so I should be able to save on some things
I LOVE that she chose to get a larger/deeper kitchen sink instead of a dishwasher. I know most ppl would prefer a dishwasher but to me it didn’t make sense for a dishwasher in a small/tiny space. Sure you can use the dishwasher as storage space but I’d prefer an additional cabinet or in this case the larger sink. This is absolutely. ❤❤❤
Here in Stockholm, Sweden, we have many apartments; still being built in this size and even a little smaller. Both to rent and buy. It’s perfect for young and old because it’s cost effective. Something for the US to consider building ! Not only in tiny house formt.
Yes! There are many of us here in the US that would love to live in a small, affordable place like this, but sadly most developers don’t want to build them.
I've never seen this video before, it just showed up and it's EXACTLY what I needed to see. My pastor said some things today and then seeing your video, as like seeing my vision come to life! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You've given me the inspiration I need to push forward. I hope to be on the right path before this year ends. Although I have a mentor, I'll be referring back to this video/your channel for help.
Cute, cute, cute! Hard to believe it's a shed. You did a nice job. And what a good sister you are to think of your siblings for housing if need be. God bless!
I love your business sense and how you are making every inch of space count as well as being smart on your choices. This is something I love seeing young people do. Great job on all of your hard work.
Great idea to help with the red tape! This is where it’s at… tiny in many applications. I would like tiny, green, accessible, affordable with a community garden and cookhouse/gathering space. Solar powered, 100% off grid. Zoning is a pain in 🇨🇦too. Super cute🥰 ✌🏼
💯agree! Yet another example of a practical simple housing solution that could really make a difference if there was less red tape. Alas, it's an ongoing struggle, but progress is happening! Love your tiny dream; best wishes with manifesting it 💕
Thank you for sharing Precious' story with us; very inspiring to see young people step out and take a chance to live a dream. What is more inspiring are all the life lessons she learned which she is sharing with others to address everyday challenges: housing needs, community involvement, financial planning, and taking risks to name a few. I wish you continued success with your company and your willingness to help develop modern policies to address our housing challenges. 🙏☺
Very nice !!! Lovely idea using the back yard to your advantage, lovely design !! Such a beautiful very smart And talented young lady !! God Bless you my dear !!
This is such a great idea. Especially for areas that have the yard space and nearby colleges and universities. And it's much safer than renting out a room in someone's house. Well done!
WOW gorgeous property and home , love the colors inside and out, Cute little place to unwind. Love the sitting area outside , awesome size bath area love the wee window in the shower that cool., You did an amazing job . nice that you have your sister and baby living there .love this.
wow. i Love Love Love this tiny home! It is stunning! Precious did an amazing job on the layout and it looks so inviting and workable:) Thank you for presenting her space!
Very nice build. Looks like a beautiful green neighborhood, with big back yards. If more homeowners would do this, then that would go a long way in reducing the housing shortage and maybe even rental prices. And more people would see the benefits of living more efficiently in smaller spaces.
We wholeheartedly agree! It’s a no-brainer to allow this but unfortunately, it’s something that has to be advocated for in most of the US. Progress is happening! Slowly but surely 😅
This is what we want to do, too! But in North Carolina. We're currently military and retirement is at least 12 years away, but I'm currently gathering resources to learn about zoning and stuff so that we can have ADUs on our land (that we don't have, yet, but someday) for rent or family. This is wonderful! I love that people are doing this! Thank you for sharing her story!
So nice, she has a little guest house!she could also abnb it and make money or she could stay in the tiny house and abnb her larger house, smart girl!!😊
This would be a good idea for me. My parents are elderly and have health issues. I could have one built in their back yard and have my own small house and space, but be close enough to help them out without moving in their house. As long as their are no restrictions or zoning regulations.
I completely agree with her! commune in community especially with your family and multigenerational housing. This is what I want to do for years. I've found a next door county in CA where they do allow up to 3 housing properties on the land so I could put my aging mother in one and my disabled sibling in the other with all of her cats and cute puppy. We are together, but separate at the same time. Only problem is I have a spouse that is not agreeable and his mother told me to forget my family and to take care of her but she lives a state away, so that is no problem to me. I qualify for a home on my own now with several lenders as I've applied but I didnt know that your spouse has to file a quit claim deed until one of the lenders informed me of that. I would like a similar approach so at least I have that familial support and vice versa and for my child, too who is close to my family.
I love the shed/house, but I have to wonder, does that divider for the bed area serve any purpose other than division? It seems to take up a significant amount of space and also limited how furniture can be arranged. Is there a structural/functional reason for it? Could it be hollowed out for storage/to act as a night stand? Could it be removed entirely?
Thanks Nic! Initially when it was drawn into the plans it was supposed to be a storage shelves; however, after many issues with contractors it was easier to just leave as you see it. I explain a bit more in the docuseries on my channel for the build.
I remember seeing a story about this young lady years ago. So happy to see she is thriving & her ADU is still going strong. Also, kudos to her for having a space to house her sister & nephew.
What a nice little home. I especially like the kitchen.. The only thing I would like is a small sitting room to watch tv. Maybe a small side table for drinks. The zoning regulations every where must change.
I don't understand the half wall at the entrance. I know it seperates the sleeping area, but why not have built in shelves in it? It is such a waste of space.
Hi Precious! My name is Alice Price, I live in CA but am originally from Texas, do you have any knowledge of anymore Price's in any other Southern states because I am trying to find some more of my relatives for our family is very large and lives in many different states. My Dad's dad name is Johnny Price and he had quite a few brothers, one by the name of Joe Price, and I have a cousin that reached out to me who name is Randy Price. I would love to hear back from you asap.
I was told that in ct you could have a ADU in your backyard but only for a family member or I think someone you know that is elderly but it has to be MOVED off the land after the person leaves or dies??????? Am I right on this? Signed confused……
I WILL BE THE NEXT PERSON ON HERE FROM ATLANTA GA!!!!!!! Remember this comment EDIT: and I will be doing most of the work myself since well… building and fixing is “my thing”!!!!! I’m coming!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely ADU. Great that she has a consulting business helping others!
It’s such a complicated process 😅 so her service is definitely needed! ❤️
Thank you! I think that ADUs are a necessary step toward helping to alleviate this global housing crisis

@@PreciousPrice You're very welcome. 🥰😇
Excellent set up. And, observing this as a retired school bus driver...that driver, delivery man had skills!!!
beautiful home! great styling and color!
Cute, cute, cute! Hard to believe it's a shed. You did a nice job. And what a good sister you are to think of your siblings for housing if need be. God bless!
That is absolutely beautiful 😍 I love it so much. I’m from North Carolina
Brilliantly designed. Despite the size it's quite spacious inside.
What a beautiful tiny house she has made it. Beautifully done
I love that she took her experience and knowledge and started a business to help others in similar circumstances. Wonderful way to help others!
LOVESIT! Bless You and appreciate your involvement and work in GA..

Dang I’m so glad I watched this. I was like, I watched her already, but lots have changed and it was on a different platform. Smart smart gyal
What a lovely person and a great storyteller/communicator!
Well-developed solution(s) and I liked the ladder story. ✨😊

I really like this idea. Congratulations on getting it completed.
I appreciate you! Thank you
@PreciousPrice I want to live tiny but Virginia doesn't have a lot of options in the area that I'm in. I'm disappointed

Well done. I met the owner of Liberty Storage Solutions about 10 yrs ago here in NC at their 2nd location. Nice guy, too.
Tgis is a great idea. Looks nice. Also can be used as a guest house too.
All those windows though! And the white cabinets! Nice porch too. Very well done!
I am about to put one in my back yard
I’d love to live there. Great work!
Love this! Very smart, great idea!!!✨💖
So nice, she has a little guest house!she could also abnb it and make money or she could stay in the tiny house and abnb her larger house, smart girl!!😊
Ok, I see you changed the layout. I remember you had a couch in a previous shared video and a loft up top. I love both ideas.
I absolutely love ALL of this and gives me something to think about.
What a beautiful little home
absolutely love everything about this! she is awesome!
Beautiful, the tiny house looks nice as well.
As usual This is Gonna b Absolutely Beautiful THE n Precious…. Yesss💐🎉🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Friday😀!!!….

I would love to do this so my young adult daughter can have a place ❤
Nicely done!
Thank you so much for sharing 🫶🏾
This is awesome and quite impressive. Checking out your company!
Super nice job. Brilliant gal. Could work in a lot of configurations. Really well done 👍👍🙏
We agree, she’s super talented! 🙌
Is it just me, or is she ultra pretty 🤔
She’s a beauty!
Beautiful home, have you ever considered placing a rail on the loft area to prevent falls.
Cah-ute!
Good extra penny maker too 🫶🏾

I'm glad your dream ADU came out so nicely🎉.
JO JO IN VT 💞
thanks for sharing.. I feel like if you have ever lived below someone else or too close to neighbors, then you can do tiny!! I can do tiny!!...😀
Shed to ADU, what sort of permits did you need and alterations that were required to meet code(s)?
Very nice property. Great video 😊
Excellent, congratulations on all your endeavors.😊😊😊I pray that Father God continues to Bless you in all you do in the name of Christ Jesus.😊😊😊

2 questions? What is in that thick wall by the bed and why it couldn’t be thinner?
this is so nice 🎉👏🏿👏🏿

Did u tap into the waste line or get a septic?
Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍

the design and layout is poorly done for full-time actual living. It's all a facade.
Nice!
nice job

Very nice but for safety an egress window was needed in loft
Seriously a worthwhile investment...
I couldn’t imagine renting it out to someone. They could wreck it or not keep it clean lol
