Followed this video, installing my belltech setup for my 96 c3500. Solid video man!
The truck is looking clean with the drop kit. I hope you bring this truck to Texas one day
Thanks, Ruben! I'd love to ride over there
@Motortopia I hope you can bring it to Lone star throwdown in Conroe Texas in February one day
THANK YOU, BELL TECH,!!!!!
Awesome build dude!
Thank you!
Rocked my beltec dropped obs for years. Rides great looked killer. Motor failed years ago and sparked the build. I was planning on lowering my 96 k3500 but decided to go kinda lifted. I will have both a bagged dually and a lifted dually when it’s all done
Best of both worlds!!
@@motortopiaondemand yeah I’m kind of excited for it.
Follow your Instincts they will never let you down.
I love it Josh!! It’s coming together real sweet like. 🤙🏻
absolutely loving this truck build!!
Thank you!
@@motortopiaondemand no problem! im trying to find a dually just like this for my dad but its hard to find one thats not beaten to all hell lol. keep these videos coming!
Great tow pig for the Playboy truck badass obs
That would be a site to see for sure!!
16:32 Yes get them if they're damaged, etc but not everyone has $500 extra to spend just because you don't want to replace the bushing!
I LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Just my opinion, you should have lowered that BEFORE paint.
Plus working on the rear is WAY easier with the bed off.
Cool truck.
Yes, it is way easier but that wasn't possible with this truck. Sometimes you guys gotta roll with it.
Josh, I notice you installed a bearing carrier for the drive shaft. I have a 91 1500 do also need to purchase the spacer ? Great video by the way !
What r the shock numbers for the rear I have a 5/7 drop need new rear shocks
What are you spraying on the underside? Looks clean
Amazing truck. I have 1995 extend cabin that i want to the drop. However i dont want to go to c notch.
Looking good 🔥 what did you torque the ubolts to? I have a 83 short bed I recently lowered.
Thanks! Belltech calls for 95-110 ft lbs on this kit.
So, you stated for the c2500/c3500 as for the drop kit. Im assuming the install process should be the same for either or.
What long tubes do you have installed? I cant seem to find anybody that sells long tubes for a L29 454
Hi it looks real good, I love it.. but one question how much is that kit?
How much for that kit, and the best place to buy it, pleeeeeease
Would this fit a single cab dually 1989?
Nice
I have the same truck but a '98, I used your method as to where to put the templateon the drivers side. What about the drivers side
*passenger side
Definitely lowered $
What did them wheels come off of or are they after market
They are Aftermarket wheels
My 97 has a 6/8 drop on it an it’s way to low for the roads in my area I’d like to pick it up to a 3/5 drop or if they have it available a 4/6 drop cause I think a 5/7 is right there with a 6/8 drop an just to low the y pipe hits the road an really bad pot holes the front cross member scraps as well
Just got some from the Power Tour and I put 1,900 miles on the dually with this drop. You're right, it is very low and if you're not careful you can bottom out or rub but the truck did great!
@@motortopiaondemand yeah mine rides awesome just road conditions are just not suitable for the truck that low unless you put air bags so you can lay frame at car shows an air it up higher than a 5/7 drop to drive only way to do it but then you always got to be worried about when a compressor is going go out or when an airbag or air line going bust so idk I think a 3/5 drop is just best to go with
@barryhebert5893 what kit do you have in your truck ?
@@upstylefabrication569 idk I bought it lowered I was just told it was a 6/8 drop I tried looking for brand stamp or part number of something on the spindles or springs but couldn’t find anything I assumed bell tech cause have bell tech shocks on the rear but no telling an guy I bought my truck from didn’t lower it either so he doesn’t know either
I have a 21 gmc 2500 Crew Cab w/6.6 Duramax I really want to lower my truck but everyone tells me it’s way too expensive like $20,000 Dollars
That's enough to have a place 'bag a truck. But it's not the 90s so the sheepole are not customizing the way they once were. Sadly.
It’s pretty touch working on the Ground. For sure if you cut the wrong way then as far as repairing goes that will be fine but for Showing piece it will look like a Amateur Built the Truck. Lolll
This was probably the toughest part of the build because of rolling around on the ground and working with these heavy duty parts. 100% worth the effort though!
