Same thing was wrong with mine. Sounded exactly like this! I have 157K miles on it. Toyota dealer is where I did most of my maint. It got pretty bad recently, it started prob 15-20K miles ago. I recently went in for Reg Maint and Tires, and they did a diagnostic on the vibration, and said I needed a new Drive Shaft. It was 900$ for entire shaft including bracket. It was surprising only 200$ labor for install. It runs smooth now. Hope it lasts another 140K miles or so :)
iRECKONER Toyota extended the warranty just for the driveshaft due to this issue. I developed a shimmy around 130k last year on my 06 XRunner. Replaced under warranty. Even got a loaner car because they kept it overnight. The only problem I have is that the shimmy is still there. Got new wheels and tires. Toyota says suspension is in top shape. It’s a mystery but it goes away with about 70 lbs or more cargo weight so I just keep ballast in the back to get by.
I have a corolla axio all wheel drive I ran over a stone seems the center line bearings got damaged the rear one I now feel a vibration when I go over 80 km could it be that the bearing is bad?
Carrier bearing u joints and trans mount all need to be changed otherwise you will keep replacing one at a time. Get Spicer, exact toyota oem replacment
mi toyota tundra 5004 hace ruido como si fueran los bearing...ya los remplace pero sigue haciendolo,,,,como si fuera ruido de las llantas ...mucho golpeo al correr....vibra al frenar y ya remplace los discos y frenos...frustrado!!!!!! auguna idea? puede ser esto? gracias de antemano
Yes my wife has a suzuki 2003 xl7 mechanic said it had a toyota transmission and the drive shaft was vibrating which destroyed the rear seal truck still leaks oil after fixing it twice will never buy another suzuki or toyota brand !

Toyota has an extended warranty for 2005 to 2001 now. The ZH2 program.
Input shaft bearing I did replace and no more problems my vibration was bad

my truck does the same..
U-joints I can hear em squeak they may look ok but take them off they will be dry inside

Mine did that and after I greased the whole drive shaft it went away.

what did u do to solve the problem?
the center carrier bearing solved it. but it blew out the ujoint just behind it before i could change it, so i changed both, now it rides smooth
Porque no tratas echandole Dry Gas ,probablemente tiene agua en el tanque.
