This man renews the faith in modern blues. He IS the blues, the epitome of the blues. I have been a student of this genre of music for 50 years and this man is a true bluesman. The Blues needs artists like this to keep the true blues alive. Thank you for posting this!!
I just found out about this young man this past Saturday on a morning show and OMG!!!!!!! I cannot believe I've been missing this, I can't get enough!!
Good God... if he hadn't performed live in my town I'd never believe it. I could listen to this all day and night. Kingfish, you're my boy! Keep rockin' out!
I heard him only 1 time on sirius and since I lost my groove from moving from Miami to South Carolina and the loss of my husband, I had the pleasure of seeing him in Savannah, Georgia. Incredible talent. ❤
I usually listen to all sorts of prog rock and metal, especially death metal. However, I love jazz, bluegrass, blues...hell, even classical. I turned my XM radio to BB King's Bluesville the other day and heard "Empty Promises" and Robert Cray's "Anytime." These two songs really dug deep into my soul and renewed my appreciation and my appetite for the blues. Kingfish is amazing!!
You all gotta understand, it’s hard to play with a Angel from a high order like this! This young man spirit goes way back. Just enjoy and appreciate the gift. I think they are doing fantastic. Backing him up. Just appreciate all the great guitar players he is channeling. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆👑🎸
A few tears came to my eyes when I first started listening to this video (I couldn't watch it either, like the rest of you who hated the horrid editing). Why? Cuz the real blues is alive & well in this stellar young man. You just don't hear this stuff unless you go back in time. Thank god Buddy Guy is still alive (according to Rolling Stone Guy financed Kingfish's upcoming album). The torch has been passed. Play on, man.

The way he speaks through those strings gives me goosebumps EVERY time I listen to him play.
I can hear Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix, and BB King saying Yes son that is how you play it.
I’m too stubborn (and poor) to pay for concert tickets, but I’d pay to see this kid live.
This man is ten kinds of bad, so good to see someone so young with this kind of talent in the blues. Thank you Jesus. Much Love ❤️.👍
