This model has gotten a lot of review and my wife loves her Pro8, BUT, It would be nice if Bose would offer a shorter spacer as an option. This system seems too tall or too short for many venues.
It depends on your event, audience size, location, and what you’re trying to accomplish. For smaller crowds - it’s great. For larger crowds, louder sound needs, I’d go with something that sits higher off the ground.
Can powered speaker be daisy chained through the BOSE L1 8's output?

The height with the expander seems to be right if it’s sitting on the ground.
I had two fail right out of the box the towers were defective and the wobble on the tower is unacceptable
