@@Poorschedriver I was admiring the perfect down shifts. Still something to work on for me. I have a 986 at the moment. The tan interior with the dark blue exterior and silver wheels has got to be the perfect combo. The 981 interior just doesn't do it. The more analog feel is where its at.
@roaddogracing7080 thanks, check out my other videos, particularly the heel toe cam and the reciew of the boxster by @buzzytheblue for a more in depth look of three car.
I enjoyed watching this at regular speed and then watched it again at double speed for the thrill !!! Cool video. My Boxster is also stored for the northern hemisphere winter now. Can't wait to get behind the wheel in March next year for drives like yours.
Good to see somebody else out there "Driving it like a Porsche!" as intended! Love the rock face echo effect . . . . you've got a real nice road there! Thanks for sharing it. Maybe we could do a road review of the Mohawk trail and put it on both of our channels? Think about it . . .
Thanks! My cars see redline every day, they've gotta be exercised! You guys ever plan a trip up to New England and I'll show you some of the best roads we have to offer (which pale in comparison to what you've have but I gotta work with what I got lol). My other videos of the Adirondack roads are from the lake placid region. They're some truly great roads out there, about 4 hours from me.
@@trueview3127 Yeah honestly it's all good, just gotta pick the right weekends. This time of year is usually the best as kids are back in school so the roads aren't clogged up with vacationers. But I'm also an early riser so it's not usually an issue.
I can assure you its far faster than it looks. The left hander after the rock wall before the last straight the tires were starting to squeal at the limit, and it's about 7mph faster than I take it in my cayman.
@davidg.9446 I can assure you, the camera doesn't do it justice. It's the limit of my ability and comfort level on the street. Anything further would just be reckless.
Yes I understand. I make videos out in the country doing speeds between 80 and 135 and the camera does it no justice. You simply have to be in a car to see and feel those rides . I not insulting your abilities or your comfort level. I'm just stating that "flat out" is an exaggerated term used to get viewers and that is not even close to being flat out . That's why I only watched a quarter of the video. I'm just tired of the amount of deception these days that's all. Have a great weekend.
Fantastic sound from the flat six. I also have a Boxster S that is put away for the Winther for six (!!!) months now, so listening to you drive give me some sensation of driving my car😅…..but your sound is amazing. I am wondering what exhaust system, you have on?
Stored away!? Bummers, can't handle, imagine that, especially here year round top down weather, in my 2006 boxster s! Aloha from westside Oahu Hawaii MK
Got a question - where is this? You stated that that might be the best road in Massachusetts, but at 4:38 it shows a sign "Entering Florida". I don't recall any Florida roads with trees, or roads like that.
Crazy right? There's a town in Massachusetts that's literally called Florida. Apparently, it's named after the state of Florida. Mass is a weird state man...
Very lovely! That venomous scream echo when you pass by the rock face makes me jump up half an inch from my chair. Also, is it just me or does the steering wheel look rather large for a sports car?
The steering wheel is a Porsche sports steering wheel, so it's slightly thicker. Plus, I'm a small guy, so there's a little illusion as well. It feels just right though.
@PointNemo9 it's culture. In some regions, people are overweight and always eating or drinking. In New England, where I am from, life is very fast-paced, so there isn't much time to eat or drink, so many people do it while driving. Driving is treated as a background activity, which is why Americans are such bad drivers, and we have so many accidents. I wish we had the driver education and respect for the European countries. Especially the lane etiquette. As for me, well, it gets hot in the sun with the top down, so gotta stay hydrated with iced tea! It also doubles as a G meter!
@@Poorschedriver I don’t think we in the US are such a bad drivers, comparison is only useful when comparing against people-distance driven and few countries report such statistics, US is almost 4 times safer than Mexico but only slightly worse than New Zealand. It is worse than UK or Norway but too few countries report this number.
Interior is so sporty and classy at the same time! And car is a timeless masterpiece
Thank you
The sound, the camera angle, the interior, the road, the view, the driving skills. 10 out of 10. Love this so much.
Wow, thank you very much. Most people never acknowledge driving skill because it never looks as fast on camera.

Is that stock exhaust or is it a modified one? Sound’s absolutely insane! :3
