I always enjoy your relaxing videos, Holly. I eat EV olive oil, but always soap with refined light olive oil to keep my batter as light as possible. This is a very clever way to show the difference.

Finally, I have the impression that the lighter the color of the oil in the bottle, the whiter the soap, don't you think?
She probably wanted her soap to gel longer. She wasn't making that much soap and it tends to lose its heat faster. You can do it both ways. I've put mine in the freezer also and the soap is still going to do what the soap is going to do no matter the temperature. The gelling stage didn't quite go as far (from the center to the outer) in the freezer but in the end its the same thing by the time the soap cures which no matter what the ingredients and no matter what they tell you soap ALWAYS cures fully cures at 8-12 months. Interesting thing about that is soap with more water will lose weight faster than soap with less water (kind of like an over weight person can lose weight faster than a lighter person?)?? Why that is dunno but thats the crazy thing about soap.

I had no idea that light olive oil could be used. If you use colors it would be very vibrant.

Hi Hollys , why do we keep it in the heated oven light during the soap making phase, which is usually recommended to be cooled. Thank you. ❤

Nothing as far as making soap is concerned, which was the point. But when it comes to consumption, I cook with EVOO, better flavor
