What we see happening now out of the blue is a confluence of efforts to make testing Autonomous Vehicles possible as soon as possible: As well the UNECE lawmakers for Europe as the EU and all countries in it are suddenly waking up to make the (till now) unthinkable possible…
Indeed, another futurist with “street cred” (Tony Seba) keeps saying this. And most of his predictions have materialised!

@@MyFullSelfDriveTesla old leisure class was the landed gentry, they owned land and titles and controlled the country in exchange for “protection”. New leisure class are the bureaucrats, they hold power and control the country in exchange for “regulatory protection”. The Europeans are mostly unaware to this and can’t see what’s happening.
