I did something similar with an iPhone 7. And an iPhone 5s on my Ferrari rim. Cheap and cheerful but we are still having fun!
Really good job dude! I ended up making one of amstudio's RGB arduino rev light and putting velcro on each of my wheel rims to mount it. I just put the velcro on top of the plate on the TS-PC and the wire wraps through the thumb holes in the wheel (I used gaffer pro to secure it to the crevices on the back of the rim) and then I have a coiled usb cord underneath. I was worried it would get in the way, but it's worked perfectly.
As you've said before, why the fuck has Thrustmaster not released a good $99 unit with shifter lights and maybe a central 3 digit info display.
I hoped that TM would release a proper gauge for the TS but after almost 2 years still nothing. This is a pretty nifty mod to do, tnx for sharing Dan
I did something like that with the f1 rim. Just velcro and carbon fiber vinyl wrap. Cell phone holder for other rims. Looking good

That's a very good idea but i don't have that rim. :-( I'm trying to find something like that to my sparco 310 rim.
You could use the same concept except Velcro to the front of the rim. It seems to be flat and has a wide surface to mount it to.
I used a cell phone holder with the wrap around.
Thrustmaster should offer you a job. Then, maybe you could fix their horrible pedals while you're there!

Unfortunately this is only compatible with PS4 for some reason. But yeah this would be awesome if it was PC compatible.

Thanks! Yes I have seen it. It seems to be a nice piece of equipment but unfortunately it is only compatible with PS4 so I can't use it as i race on PC.
