I have the F1 Wheel, which I use for all sorts of sportscar racing. In Games like Assetto Corsa (Competezione) you can really use all those buttons. But I'm extremly hyped for the new wheel in April.
I've currently been testing both of them, owning both and I think it will come down to personal preference. So far I am finding the F1 wheel more comfortable for races (using gloves for both) the TM Open wheel has a thicker rim. The 2 separate padels are quieter on the TM Open wheel. Both have a satisfying click to them. Ferrari F1 wheel has more buttons. Arguably both are more than adaquate for any racing game. F1 wheel has a slight advantage for F1 games with the rotating dials right next to your thumbs for fuel mix, ERS etc. Overall both are great wheels. Personal preference of the F1 wheel for its aesthetics and looks and also its functionality and is comfortable. Majority of people would be happy with either. Standard wheel is a must for Dirt Rally 2.0 👌
i use the f1 add on wheel on ,my t300Gt and is INSAINLY good to use in gt sport racing ,, cant wait for the new wheel in april ,, regards from amsterdam
@@killiandaly3552 yehh but looks so INSANE !! but do you now if i can connect the fanatec V3 pedal set for my Thrustmaster t300gt wheel with rj12 cable ??? im now using the T-LCM pedals ...
I’m not certain but you might be able to use the usb and plug it into the console separate I think that works because people do that for the shifter or hand brake if you are looking for a load cell pedals you could look at the tclm pedals from thrust master
@@killiandaly3552 i am using the T-LCM pedals now for about 1 month ,,,, but they say the V3 pedals are KING for sim racing !! and can brake later !! i keep struggling with my T-LCM brakes,, but thnx for your help ,,,,, think i just wait for my NEW Thrustmaster wheel first in april
Ye the t-lcm pedals are entry level load cell pedals Fantec is the king for console sim racing I’m stuck with the t3pa which are getting old so I will be upgrading soon enough
Sorry, but the F1 wheel beats the open wheel by miles. Shows that you dont have it to compare. I had both for a long time, sold the open wheel, still using the F1..
I guess the TM open wheel let you feel more FFB as it should be lighter then the F1 wheel right? Or there isn’t any much difference between those wheels in how they make you feel FFB? Thanks

Ye same I can’t wait for it but I really hope it isn’t crazy expensive

Dose it work on Xbox series X or S the Ferrari f1 wheel
So long as it drives the car I’m happy!

Personally I think the Thrustmaster TM open wheel looks nicer and neater. I also like it's metal base for the wheel.
Ye same and I mentioned the price in the video but for some reason it’s not there but it 40€ cheaper
I couldn't focus because the sound of your voice is so wonderful! Haha. What is the compatibility of the TM wheel to servos?
Hahahahahah it’s compatible with the t300 t500 all servos that are part of the echo system
I have the open wheel. I like the Ferrari wheels but I do t use the buttons much. I put magnets on the paddles.

the tm wheel is lighter but it wont make too much of a difference with ffb
I’ve found that the open wheel alcantara’s stitching comes undone after a while
Open wheel between these 2 but if it was open wheel vs the thrustmaster ferarri 1000 that one would win over the open wheel imo lol
What display do you have on the TM wheel? I'm looking for one like that
Does the th openwheel fit on the t150?
I´m not sure but look at the TM Website. There are all information u need
Of course neither. The new F1 style rim they teased and will be released in April :)
Do I need a regular t300 rs or t300 rs gt for the open wheel?
The wheel base of those 2 are the same :)
Could I swap either wheel with the thrustmaster t80
No you need the T300 base as minimum.
how can you compare something you haven't got
dose the Ferrari wheel work on Xbox series x or s
is the thrusmaster ferrari compatible with the thrusmaster t150 force Feed back
No, the t150 has a fixed wheel
Def the TM open wheel for me but tbh I really want the newer ferrari 1000 lol
Me too that new wheel looks amazing but it’s very expensive!!
The new one :)
Will these wheels work with a t500 base mate?
Yep
Do they connect to T150?
They don’t cause the t 150 isn’t part of eco systen
@@killiandaly3552 oh ok Thx
Does this work with PS5 by any chance??? (the ferrari wheel base)
Yep I use the tm open wheel on my ps5
does this work with the tx servo base
yes. it works with all thrustmaster wheels with detachable wheel. The tx has this feature
does the tm open wheel have enough buttons for f1 games? It seems like having less button than the original T300 rs wheel
I find it has good amount of buttons and u can also use l3 and r3 on the wheel base for changing camera etc
So you don't actually have the f1 to hand
No but I have the tm open wheel I have seen a lot of reviews from the Ferrari one so I put all the knowledge I had
@@killiandaly3552 fair enough.
What is the mod on the top called?
The rev lights are called thrustmaster bt led display
Does anyone know if the thrustmaster t3pa pedals fit on the playseat evolution?
Yet it does
Does the thrust master open wheel work with a tmx pro?
The TMX isn’t compatible with Thrustmaster’s ecosystem sadly, it’s the reason I upgraded to a TX wheelbase
Is the openwheel compatible with the t300. Rs gt
Yep I use it with the t300
@@killiandaly3552 from the amount of people that use the t300..it must be such a boss wheel. I've got 2 of them😂
