Singing whoop that tric to the baby is crazy 😂😂😂
Lmfaoo 💀💀💀
🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Whoop that little tricc baby" 🍼 😆 🎶🎶
Lmao, I read this and immediately went, Dababy is in this?
It’s cool they ain’t gonna remember 😂
I love the ending of this movie...cuz the whole movie u seen djay struggling struggling STRUGGLING! but he pulls thru it, decides to start working on his dream almost by accident and the producers and djay start making this fire. in the way it all comes together is jus magic,by the end, his girls who he DOES CARE FOR, got his back and push his dream forward. mannnn what a great ride this movie was. ITS ONE OF THOSE MOVIES, THAT AFTER U SEE IT, ITS ALMOST LIKE U WANNA GO BACK IN TIME AND SEE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN anyone feel way too?
Yes
And that corrections officer was Rick Ross 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha, stop reading my mind.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shut up 😂😂😂
Can’t believe William ex C.O. won lawsuits Drug kingpin “Freeway” Rick Ross …took guy name 😅& persona (street rep)
@SanDiego yo! You know whats up. Rick Ross was a CIA asset running the Contras coke. The rapper Rick Ross stole his identity!!!!
For real 😂😂
Bad ass movie. Great performances all around. And Terrance Howard got skills!! Big time!!
That white girl took one for the team. Honestly, that's probably 100% how the music industry is. If you don't know someone, you gotta get in one way or another.
Similar in a lot of things, like in politics.
I don't like to mention It but it happens in the bible. Israelite women lay with kings to save their people. It's sad because that's all they think women are good for. I blame God for that shit. Now I know God is a man. They despise smart and independent women.
No one is playing your song because you slept with them. The radio is basically advertising for these labels. They fight for air time for new artists. For the established artists the radio pays them off sponsorship money.
you saying the quiet part out loud chilll!!!! lmao
@@bkit5this movie was back in 2005 and even now there are artists who have talked about sleeping with DJs to get played and independent artists who have paid under the table for spins. Trust me, it happens and it’s been happening.
What a time to be alive when this movie came out
This is my second favorite scene in movie history. Obviously when they made the song that made it my favorite.
The bald headed c.o was inspired so much that he quit his job, gained weight and formed the label Maybac music!
I was laying in bed in a detox coming off dope a few years ago and we had TVs in our rooms. I'm addicted to hip hop but I had never seen this...I watched it..and something about watching it with a clean head gave me the chills..in a good way..I'm clean right now...I'll never forget how this movie inspired me
🙏🙏
Good on ya big homie.
Good job..hope ur still riding clean
Let me guess, you got out and started whooping tricks
damn … respect ✊
Everybody gotta have a dream.
They call me big five 0 Now they call me Rozay
ROZAY GOT 60 MILL EAT DAT
🤣🤣
He got 60 mil front the diddler, you clown
A lot of people don’t understand why Hustle & Flow is such a significant and monumental movie, and why people enjoy it so much. They trivialize it to just some pimp trying to rap, but it’s so much more than that.
Throughout the movie, you realize that Djay isn’t necessarily a bad guy. Sure, he’s a dealer and a pimp, which isn’t necessarily ethical, but for the most part, his heart is in the right place, but he falls victim to his environment. When the dude sells him the keyboard, he immediately wants to make sure he didn’t steal it from children. He confides in Shug, opens up to her, is vulnerable, and in a weird dysfunctional way, they fall in love with one another. When he’s in the bathroom with Skinny, he says, “A wild n***a would do some f**ked up stuff to you right now” - basically letting Skinny know, like “Look, I’m just trying to help you pull your pants up, I’m not trying to take advantage of you in any way.” That really shows Djay’s character and his essence.
This movie is so much more than a gritty, urban, hood movie.
• It’s the authenticity. The connection of having a dream, a desire, a goal that you so desperately want to attain.
• It’s the casting and the little sparks of humor throughout the film, like when Djay mistakes Shelby for a Mormon, and how Key says: “No, he’s just light skin.” Or when Nola and Lexus start argumenting on the couch, while Key and Djay are rapping in Yvette’s kitchen.
• It’s the way Djay holds on to his father’s watch with such pride, and talks about how the school buses remind him of his father. As people of color - especially in the Black community - we may not have the fanciest material things, like diamonds and pearls, but we have our family, our memories, and our reminders that there’s some beauty in life.
• It’s the music and the songs that are so relatable.
• It’s the way Djay adamantly says, “Hell no” when Shug accidentally thought he wanted her to leave, or the special moment that she gives him the necklace, or when he passionately kisses her before seeing Skinny.
• It’s the way Nola desperately cries and says, “Do you know what I do in the back of them cars.” Or when she says, “I know when you’re messing with my head. And sometimes I let you, because I need my head messed with.” Even if you’ve never sold your body, you can’t help put to have empathy for her.
• It’s the heartbreak you feel when Djay picks up the tape in the toilet.
• It’s when Djay says that he’s going to lie and tell Keisha that she can be president, because she’s a kid who has a dream. It’s the beautiful way dreams never seem too big or too unattainable to a child.
shi
Well that's utterly false...
He's a scumbag
You should've proof read, but pretty decent overall. A-
Thanks for sharing! Yea even though you can see he's trying to find his way, he had to deal with his unethical past which is hard to escape
This is literally one of my most favorite movies of all time!! This movie was perfect from beginning to end!!🎉🎉🎉
Best hip hop movie of all times. Surpasses Straight Outta Compton
Watching this and then seeing Taryn playing the role of Karen is wild. She is so underrated as an actress
DJ Qualls rocking a black Flag shirt. Years later and just noticed. Fuck yes.
Shoutout to the mavs for whooping that trick to the suns 🤣🤣👏🏽
Every corrections officer run both sides of the law.
This movie a guilty pleasure of mine!!!
This movie deserved a sequel, with D-Jay becoming a big rap star, with Luda as his big rival. Could've played it out like Jeezy vs Gucci Mane.
Facts
One of the most realistic rap movie ever made
Says everyone not living in Memphis
@@Dusterbugless Is it that different?
@@rickyhunt4075 yes

My friends and I sang this for months after this movie first came out
And of course I’ve been singing “it’s hard out here for a pimp” since this came out

It’s about time for a part 2, and please I don’t mean lucious Lyon shit they literally need a hustle and flow part 2
That object in the room was well placed near her hand in the thumbnail.
That’s how Rick Ross got started at the end
"Yo Man, I got um... 11 months, so I've decided to decipher the quadratic wave angles of 1x1=2"
1:20 " aye mom, calm down, you SKURRIN' ME RI ABOUT NAH"
You can feel the Memphis geat in that scene
The baby was actually the RL Trick Williams of NXT. He did "Whoop that trick"
Still time to make this into a show. First episode is him getting on then carry it from there.
😂😂😂the correctional officers like we rap too. They gonna be so nice to him.
Baby's first words are going to be whoop that trick
I wish there was a 2nd movie after he got out of jail
And them come Empire
This movie felt like a mad tv skit
3:00 And the legend of Rick Ross was born.
Dis not wat the streets do. It's hard now. Where the love at
Empire producers...."Lucious backstory! "

The origins of empire 😂😂
This song was written before he ever met skinny black. 😂😂 Who Shot Ya, mayne.
Isn't that Rick Ross at the end 👮 🚨 🚔 🤡 😂
She def gave up some tail to get that played
After what happened with Skinny Black, I thought DeeJay was gonna take that tape and stick in the toilet in his cell. Then the circle would be complete...
Djay aka lucious Lyon 😂
Mujhe Pyar Ho Gaya aap Kisi ek se I love you💕❤❤❤❤
Yea my dog double down without witness or cause especially when we know some shit
Am I wrong to want a part 2 just to see
Nola was the Dirty South white super head
Nola got a little scooter on her
She was fine
So is he gonna listen to the demo?
I cant believe she wasnt paid.
I think that was Krayzie Bone whose lap she sat on. I looked up the credits of this movie, but I didn't see him nor his name anywhere. He must've had an uncredited cameo role in the movie.
Alotta STD's hustlin' they flow up in herr.
Atlanta is moving out
Don't know how she did it? 😂😂😂
So correctional officers are keeping demos on hand now? Lol 😂
And thats how ricky ross rosey started
Went from sleeping with random guys for 20-50$ dollars to sleeping with famous music producers.
Should be trick William song
This movie helps convince me that rap music really is a psyop.
1x1=2
