Lessen the confusion of BPD and build hope to live your life differently.
Navigating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) often feels like traversing through a maze of confusion, but by embracing education, therapy, and support, individuals can diminish the fog of uncertainty and build a foundation of hope. Understanding the disorder and its treatment options empowers individuals to develop coping strategies and manage symptoms effectively. Therapy, especially dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), equips individuals with practical skills to navigate intense emotions and improve relationships. Connecting with peers who understand their experiences provides validation and solidarity, fostering a sense of belonging and possibility. Embracing this journey of self-discovery and resilience offers a path towards living life differently with BPD, filled with hope and opportunities for growth.

"BPD holds us back and it distorts our view of ourselves, others and the world we live in." This line really helps me when im using " bpd lens" or shit colored glasses. I forget that bpd distorts my view and its good to remember that and keep accepting and adjusting 💖 Thank you for your work!
I'm glad that line resonated with you! Remember, awareness is key to managing BPD.
@@DrDanielFox Ok. Thank you🙏🏽
“BPD holds us back and it distorts our view of ourselves, others and the world we live in.” This really is the painful reality of BPD & keeping this in the forefront as a reminder can really help to push thru when we want to retreat into false safety. I’m going to print this out , Repeat it and use it when that lens starts to cloud my vision and distort ! Thank you as always Dr. Fox.
Dr Fox I genuinely take my hat off to you. Very kind of you to spend time putting these videos online. Makes what I'm going through much easier to cope with. 👍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad the videos are helping you.
I appreciate the people who have the vision to see the beauty in our complexities. Most are scared and intimated by BPD. They simply don't know what to do with us, so they wish we would just go away or stop bothering them.
Absolutely 💯
It's truly heartwarming to find those who understand and appreciate the complexities of BPD.
I have commented before on your endless compassion, humility, and understanding! Many life coaches send out a toxic, scurred message about BPD, saying that we rarely change, and people should run a mile! Thank you for being fair, truthful, knowledgeable, and gracious in your guidance and teachings of this extremely misunderstood illness.
Again, the WORLD NEEDS more people like you. Gratitude doesn't quite seem enough! 🙏
Your kind words mean the world to me. I'm grateful for the opportunity to shed light on BPD and provide guidance. Be aware that "coaches" are not trained mental health providers..
Just signed up for your class. Im so excited! 🎉🎉🎉
That's awesome to hear! Looking forward to having you in the class.
Is over validation possible? I'm struggling hard because of it yet it felt good. Relapse nssi since. Please I must know.
I'm not a Doctor and have no idea what the real answer should be, but in my experience with BPD; I thought I needed over validation. The emptiness and loneliness we feel can cause us to seek validation from many different partners or people, but that's not healthy or genuine for us💛✨ We need to learn to fill our own empty cup without outside validation 💛 It " feels good" but it's a short fix that causes a longer problem. For me, drinking feels good and fills the loneliness, but that's not a long term coping mechanism and isn't real, so we can't use it. We have to fill the emptiness with healing 💗
I greatly appreciate this man however I am simply tired and have days when I'm over self management and trying to see the world differently
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's important to acknowledge our ups and downs on this journey.
Background music is distracting, annoying and unnecessary.
I disagree.
