Dr. Fox is the first therapist I found in person or online who reached me. He explains the challenges realistically, but in a way that also gives optimism. He also explains where a diagnosis or suggestions for advice is coming from and builds that trust, by honestly calling out where others in the field have been right, but also wrong. Sometimes after one of his videos I can cry not just about where I have been, but from being hopeful about where I can get to at the same time.

Absolutely! Many life coaches on utube send out a very toxic, scurred biased message on this misunderstood disorder. Dr Fox has an insight, understanding, and compassion that has helped me with suicidal thoughts, detecting and dipising myself. He gives us HOPE, and there are not enough words to convey my utmost gratitude 🙏

I just want the maladaptive behavior and thoughts to STOP.
It’s Ruined my adult life, relationships, friendships. I get along better with Animals, This Disorder is NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH. Therapists I have ever had( been plenty) do NOT GET IT OR ME!!!!
Thank you Dr. Fox for helping us with BPD🙏

You really nailed exactly how I feel. I wanna add family to the list of people who don't get me and what I have to deal with. And that really sucks when ones own family doesn't want to see you as anything but toxic and unworthy of understanding and love. This disorder is evil but I am not. Just because you don't believe me when I say I didn't do anything to purposely hurt anyone, doesn't mean it's not true. I am not a scapegoat or a monster. @@Hlozano24

Is there any chance you might be doing a similar course for Narcissistic Personality Disorder as well? I was diagnosed with BPD many years ago but from watching your videos I believe there's a good chance I also suffer from co-morbid NPD as well, particularly of the covert/vulnerable type. Thanks for doing these videos, they've helped me a lot!

I don't believe that you need a course to deal with what you call NPD. NPD or better termed as malignant narcissism is a adaptive response to BP, so if you heal from the latter, the former will be taken care of. Check out Marty Glenn's videos to better understand how absence of self is at the core of personality disorders

How personalized is this course? My BPD symptoms fit very well into your video on the 9 traits of BPD but mostly only in your comments where you'd say, something like "this also includes..". What I've noticed is that my symptoms don't seem to present in a way that the lay person recognize as obviously BPD.

After being unable to find adequate treatment to manage this disease properly I have decided that if unable to achieve a final goal for myself I no longer wish to live with the disease. Not because of other people the symptoms have become something that I'm exhausted battling. I also come from a community of people who this is simply not understood and finding treatment is impossible as a poor person. I don't see it as making an impulsive decision everyone has to leave this earth and it's my choice to no longer suffer from something passed down to me via my environment. If therapist don't accept certain insurances then it's not worth it to me

I am not convinced that my impulsivity is caused by BPD. I think it might be the Lexapro. I don't care about other people's feelings as much as I used to. No wonder people are leaving, and I've been ditching them too in a fluster of "boundary keeping", trying to keep myself safe. I am beginning a taper off of Lexapro. It is not part of who I am. And I don't want to need it. If I still have grief to process then I need to go through that. My divorce was 10 years ago, I shouldn't still need medication for it.
