I've got one of these in Grey and oh man the swirls that the new car came with, it's going to be a bit of project for me to sort it out. I'm getting some centre caps for the wheels to try running the car without the covers so I can maintain the wheels.
Regards the wipers they need to be put into service mode if they are going to be lifted, get into the car with the key, car menu -> safety menu -> turn car off then tap the stalk for an intermittent wipe and they will stop at the top of the wipe. They will return next time the car powers up and you put your foot on the brake.

Do you think that contact washing the bottom of the door and then moving back up to the top and then changing from side to side to up and down might be the reason the paint is trashed!? Wouldn’t let you near my car.

Yes, you're absolutely right. One well lubricated wash after 2 stages of pre-washing is the sole cause of the swirls on a car that's been through a load of hand car washes 🤣🤣🤣
As a bit of education, this is known as a "prep wash". The aim here is to get the car clean. The car is already covered in swirl marks and will likely pick up a little bit of marring later when clay is used. The method used still won't cause that level of damage.
If this was a maintenance wash after it had been corrected and coated, different techniques would be employed. 🙂
Can we polish the MG4 spoiler? I have weird spots there and I have already tried carpro spotless but nothing.
Yes, the spoiler can be polished.
The paint is super soft so start on a fine finishing polish and soft pad 🙂
@@detailR Thank you! Is it better to use finishing polish and change the variation of the pad or use the turtle pro precision platelet and change cutting pads? This spoiler is so tricky

That's right. They're alloy wheels with aero wheel trims for a little less drag.
I bought a red metallic Luxury/Trophy (Netherlands).
They say that has a extra coant of transparant paint, so Ceramic Coating is not nesesery?
That's not true.
@@ArjanSchepers Correct. Certain colours (Red and Orange) are Tri-Coat paints, so they have an additional colour layer to give a deeper intensity to the paint. But they're not ceramic coated. The Grey and Black colours are Metallic, and the White and Blue are standard dual-coat.
These paint options apply across the model variants - the only difference is that only the Trophy/Luxury is available in the Volcano Orange paint.
Because it has an MG badge doesn't make it an MG. The Mazda Miata is the closest to what were MGs.
