' This just made my day ' simple but wow on the fun facts . thank you and thank you for these videos . We all know you don't have have to go out of your way to make these videos but this is what makes you and DK so special to alot of us . You got the extra so we learn and fill out brains with amazing stuff even if 99 percent of us won't ever own one . Its the little things in life that matters . Champion league .
I've been watching your videos for several years now and it is quite clear that you have an unparalleled knowledge and a true passion for cars. Like many others, I am enjoying the "user's guide" videos since the pandemic and the interview with Frank Stephenson was a real treat! It's so refreshing to watch someone who actually knows what they're talking about as opposed to the other nonsense on social media these days!
The engine block had to be made out of steel to cope with the loads, instead of the usual aluminium, so the weight saving by having no rear frame may be not enough to counteract the extra vibrations. Have in mind that few people who actually drive these cars are in racing driver physical condition. Nice to see this new material covering my favorite car ever.
Amazing post that only now I have come across it and one that deserves views in the high six figures so precious it is. 14k odd views don't make it any justice.
This is why Jeremy Clarkson described this car as "Feeling like the engine is bolted directly to your spine!" 😳 It's a very similar concept to an F1 car.
I know for the longest time the F50 wasn't appreciated and I never understood why. Just like the big V12 Lamborghini that have only now really started to sell for what they really should be worth. Although I do think the V12 Lamborghini models haven't found their true value. Besides the really special models I think the market over corrected itself and prices will correct and prices come back down but never as low as they once were.
If we're playing Top Trumps then I think Iain Tyrrells garage would win re content of garage.. Three F50s is a strong hand, but Iain usually has it beat..
Quality UA-cam video. Not just a stupid guy with money showing off. This had a guy with money amd knowledge. Beautiful
German engineering has always been the pioneer, but the Italians have created a masterpiece of engineering in the F50.
The shot at 3:39 is so clean, it looks like a render.
Incredible access to amazing cars. I’ve never seen this mechanical detail.
thanks a lot i was struggling for 2 hours trying to put the gear back in my f50. just made a quick youtube search and this pops on
all of us are struggling with mounting the gearbox in f50
I love this video. Explanation was on point, precise and concise. Having 3 disassembled F50 lined up and used for explanation is quite unique
If you take into account that only 349 F50s where produced, and that three of them are in for service at DK at the same time, that’s quite something.
😯
Wow I love the F50 the best Ferrari ever. And my good DK those videos are so special!
Seeing engineering like this leaves me nursing a semi stressed member.

So much more respect for the f50 after learning this. Absolutely amazing.
3 F50s in the same shop getting a bit of work done. I want to live in that garage.
ye thats insane

Nice to see this new material covering my favorite car ever.
This is the norm in racing if you want to save weight
What an amazing view and what an overwhelming looking work order.
Excellent insight in the quirky italian engineering! Possibly my favorite Ferrari, money is no object
thank you for giving us insight into this marvelous car!!

The most underrated car ever made.
It's beyond criminal that I am only allowed to give one like for this video.
F5OCG was driving sedately down Cockfosters Road last Saturday morning. Truly gorgeous car... wonder if it was one of those three there ?
Such an underrated car.
Whar an excellent video. Thank you James.
These are so cool videos and very interesting, when i would never see like this, thanks for sharing this
The rear suspension does not "hang off the side of the gearbox" - it's fixed to an oil tank in between the engine and the gearbox, same as F1.
DK has the best videos you can dream 🙌🙌
I have no words, it's amazing... Thanks for this one!
What a beautiful sight… 3x F50s…
Ever had any 333SP in the workshop??? or F50 GT???
Wonder if there’s one stored away!?
Fascinating, thank you 🙏
Thank you for sharing!!
Always enjoy more insight on 1 of my bucket list vehicles. 👍🏻

Thanks for this video! It’s amazing!
Do NOT get rear-ended in this car!
Fantastic. Love it!
I love this channel !!!!🇦🇺
What a car! These videos are awesome, thanks a lot. :)
1:13 how you make the bar glow?
Amazing car. Imagine the costs of fixing that thing
This is nuts. In my mind you'd break the car in two as soon as you'd step onto the engine cover, but I'm sure that's not the case! 😅
amazing content.
It seems quite challenging to lift such a car with or without the engine and gearbox - in terms of the center of gravity that changes dramatically!
Those cleaver Italians!
Amazing car 🚘
I have missed these excellent videos that detail what makes Ferrari’s so special. James continues too drawer stuff...
Question: Why do F50 headlights seem to have only been painted red or black from the factory?
3 f50s apart in one building. must be the only place in the world where this happens
Ferrari of Dubai disagrees
That garage is cleaner then my kitchen
Wow. Very clever.
My favourite car ever
Amazing.
Greatest car ever
F50 was the first Ferrari to integrate f1 performance tech on a road car i think...or is it 355 f1?

Dem so everytime I wanna change the clutch i have to remove the whole rear end assembly 🤯🤯🤯🤯.
Imagine the development costs just for 349! At one point prices got as low as £350k if I'm not mistaken. Ultimate bargain
This has to be a nightmare to maintain
valkyrie is the only hypercar that has the engine as the part of the structural member and strength of the chassis
You should K swap the Ferrari F50 !
Engineering ...
Wouldn't that make the whole car extremely fragile ??
Just like a Massey Ferguson.....ish.
It can’t be safe to leave the engine hanging like that? Why not prop it? The rotational moment produced on the bolts whilst it’s hanging must be huge
