This channel should have way more subs! There are too many shouty YoutTubers pointing the camera up their nostrils trying to make it all about them. This channel is truly about the cars.

1972, 21 years old, a mechanic working for my father,... after installing a new clutch and trans axle, driving a customers 1967 275 GTB6C on the 57 freeway in the OC, I thought I was the only one in the entire world. Third gear 70 mph, I was convinced I was headed for greatness, what a fool and I acted like it. Looking back at all the customers, their cars, Maserati, Ferrari, Lambos, exotics they mean very little today, just a short piece of time that will never be again, history.

This is fantastic, what a beauties. Only a true expert and collector can explain those differences properly, thanks a lot. This is what a car channels miss, normal talk, calm and mature commentary, not the bs screaming drag races, launches. DK and Harry's garage are the best of the best.

A priceless video in both senses. Incredible to see (nearly) all the variations of this sublime and rare car in concours condition lined up as if they were as common as new Civics at a Honda dealership. Excellent guide, thanks James and the DK team.

Good day from Norfolk. Wonderfully detailed explanation of the range, very rare to hear such an articulate description with "actual" cars to reinforce the point. Many thanks.

Best explanation i have ever heard. Have always been a bit daunted by all the different models of 275. Mind you, it isn't like i'm going to be shopping for one this side of a lottery win. lol

What an excellent run through of these awesome cars. I couldn’t help noticing the W.H.Lowe dealer sticker on the rear window of the 5 275 long nose. They were the original Melbourne dealer. I went to school with a son in the 60’s. The showroom was a tiny building on Whitehorse Road, Balwyn. It’s long gone now. Just around the corner from where I live now. So amazing to see the car featured. I wonder who the original owner was. An ivory 275 lives around the corner now (not sure which model) along with a 250 California SWB.

Thoroughly enjoyed that vid, great to see an expert in his field present information in a logical and memorable manner. I sat behind a one of these in traffic a few years ago whilst driving through Abergavenny of all places - I was in my 1970 DBS Vantage and the Ferrari owner gave me a thumbs up, made my day!

Great video and explanation of the differences between the 275s. Nice also to see the silver 275GTB long nose still displaying the W.H Lowe sticker on the rear window (the then Melbourne (Australia) based importer/distributor)

Very good differentiation video of the Ferrari 275 series. The GTB/C used an open propshaft apparently to make clutch changes easier in endurance racing. Also the 4 cam 275s used basically a single cam layout, with the timing chains revolving around one gear on each bank from which the chain met with the idler gears of the cams.

Excellent history of the 275 GTB. My personal choice for the most stylish of the 60's Ferrari's. The lines of the car and the music of that V12 engine are incredible.

There's also an alloy bodied 275 GTC (C for Competizione) with 6 carburetors.
I would have added photos of the engine bay if there was an option to do so in the comments.

Excellent, but you did not mention the 2 cam long nose (silver) car had the outside laced Borrani wheels. That's unusual and I thought a feature of the 12 competition 2 cam cars. I had a 330GTC and it had a similar chassis (torque tube), a bit more weight and luxury, but had greater torque and a bit less free-revving nature than the 275. A bit less sporting, a bit more touring. I agree though, given an unlimited budget, a 275 is the ultimate classic Ferrari.
