Kudos youtubing this. Love it, and thank you. 1. Something I notice is that the other top level players do not go late chaff, while you do, and often(?) that's a factor in you winning over them. I think that's interesting... 2. What if the tower had some kind of slow-down (mud? tar?) that doesn't ignite, while the oil remains in the picks. That way you can balance the slowdown and damage independently.
afaik, in 1v1 and 2v2 a sold unit always gives full cash back, so as long as you didnt tech it you dont loose any supply over it (except the initial 100 to buy the ability ofcourse)
I'm growing a thick skin trying to learn how to play this game completely cold. One day, finish with 16k MMR. Next day, 10 straight losses and one one win back to 9.5k.
Rat... why do people not fast forward? I seriously don't like playing ranked games even if I'm winning because people won't fast forward. Am I in the wrong Great Rat Guru?
You think that adding a tech to few like units like sledgehammers called bulldozer blade or something that removed hazards they contracted like oil, fire, or acid help with the oil balance?
Would you like to have game mode with pick-ban phase at start so if you feel like you lost the game before even moving your units you would know it's completely your fault and not some RNG had decided you should start with complete garbage against what your opponent has?
you mean like banning units that you can build? I don't likebanning units do that much. In the past year they have added new units. It has not added that much into the game imo. Like it doesnt really matter if i clear the chaff with fire badger or a wraith. They just require a little bit different setup and counter but ultimately it just the same situation, you just need more knowledge about how multiple units work to play the game. But the experience is the same and there is always an answer or a comp that is better than everything else in a given situation. If you mean banning starting units or specialists, maybe in the future. But i dont think it would be a good approach. would rather have them maybe reduce the number of possible starts and balance them better
@@SurreyEZ I mean picking/banning starting specialists and units, so both players can guess what opponents game plan could be and adjust a bit, so this would add some mind games at the match start and prevent situations with highly favourable starts for one side (to at leas if this happens - somebody just got outsmarted) So there would be no need to reduce possible start numbers or balance them also and players would have more control and not just suffer and hope for good unit drop
Hard to say how they would be in this game. Could maybe snowball out of control with levels? Could be very balanced. I don't like to play mirrors in games usually, boring to me for some reason. Some people like them a lot though I have noticed. I would like them to fix the starting units so they wouldn't be so far apart in power level
I would like to see a custom select in which you get the liberty to choose your two starters but with no ability. The only rule is one 50 cost unit (to unlock) and one 0 cost.
difficult day

Just gotta turn that hat around and lock in
even the best have hard days
The way high level players sell out of units is so interesting.
Yeah, I think the thought process is you can get into a better fit on board and you can also afford techs
afaik, in 1v1 and 2v2 a sold unit always gives full cash back, so as long as you didnt tech it you dont loose any supply over it (except the initial 100 to buy the ability ofcourse)
That's like one of the key skill expressions in Mechabellum - after all, you want to have the best possible unit composition and position.
I remember watching this from a different stream or something and I'm like "Rat must be having a bad day" lol
Feel your pain, im on 4 lose streak when i had like 10 win streak :( to tired to play eu tour at 10PM in 14 minutes :(

@@BooskaMacklesag I tend to play when I am drinking. So I get some MMR, and I lose some MMR. :)
I only lost today so the theme of this video is perfect. I'm tilted af and feeling a sense of community xD

you have understood the most important mission, others have not
I do it because I don't want people to get impatient but I don't like to fast forward because I like watching robots blow each other up.
You've probably already been asked, but do you plan on updating the unit guides on MechaMonarch? Likely after the new unit releases of course
You think that adding a tech to few like units like sledgehammers called bulldozer blade or something that removed hazards they contracted like oil, fire, or acid help with the oil balance?
mr RAT is so salted here :D
I liked the tilted pov, thanks for sharing
How dare you make the rat even cuter.
Oh I can feel the pain from the monitor from just ending the vid dry, like that

I personally think stormcaller should NEVER be a first option
Watched sacco's commentary of these games. Looking forward to your own.
You played well

next time use the photonicshield from your boats and your units won´t die in the fire so quick ;)
I'm baffled at why they haven't removed oil from the tower.
Without oil Norwegians would not be able to play and participate in the tournament. So removing it would be discriminatory.
Oh man, it's even worse when they wiggle the camera while they are playing.
Apooche winning ez without abusing Typhoon Overlord 💪💪💪👑
Why didnt u go high range melters on round 3, why sledges, wouldve been an easy win
Can someone explain me why i keep getting disconnects after every 5-6 rounds?? Its my 4lose in a row cuz of this...
data error or just disconnect?
@@SurreyEZ "oponent disconnect... (180s)... " and after count its lose for me
i love oil spell because i despise aggro players and i thinkn they should put more oil in the game
I swear, sometimes mechabellum is doing this crap on purpose 👊👊👊
sometimes it definitely feels like it!
I'm always tilted playing this game
I don't like the specialist selection system. They say it's to prevent mirror matches, but what's wrong with them?

I also don't like playing mirror matches in most games. Asymmetry is always the most fun.
I would like to see a custom select in which you get the liberty to choose your two starters but with no ability. The only rule is one 50 cost unit (to unlock) and one 0 cost.
i would like to choose between my favorite specialist and a random one, so my opponent still dont know that i play, but i can play my spec if i want.
no asymmetrical is complicated and stressing me out. Standard is chill and how the game should be played@@sujimayne
