Just got done watching your video so i jad to go total my 98 kx250 build and mine came out to about 3,200 bucks i didn't get the blinged out hubs but im thinking about it they do look good anyways nice bike brother have a good one 👍
Hey really like the video! New to the channel, I had a question about the frame guards, I've been looking for a set for an 01 kx and can't find them. Thanks!
I just did the same thing to a 96 KX125 i picked up in boxes. I dont even want to add up the cost of my build. The only thing I didnt do was get the Warp 9 rims, been looking at them though. It would make me sick to know what I got in it and to top it off I dont even like it now that its complete. I guess I'm too used to my modern KTM 2 strokes.
This bike is sitting in my living room and hasn't been ridden. As badass as it is, my main bike is a 2020 KTM 250 XC TPI. I know brakes, suspension, and motor have all come so far since 2001. If I ride this bike, it'll only be once. But I kind of want to sell it "Brand New" so somebody is getting it with the completely fresh rebuild and no scratches. No matter how nice you rebuild an old bike, new stuff is still better. That said I had a blast building it and would do it all over again. Very proud of this bike.
You do a great job on your builds and videos man. I just picked up a 99 KX250 and already started my tear down so I can rebuild her. Have you had any issues with the 99-01 kickstart shaft?
That's awesome! No, but I never actually rode this bike. I know the owner is now ripping it in MX races though! Ran into him last year pulling holeshots!
I have the same bike and want to make the forks look new in OEM condition. How did you do it? My forks have scratched anodizing and the fork tubes were discontinued by Kawasaki.
Good to know! I usually just list bikes locally but for what this bike is, when it's time to sell I'll probably list it in a lot more places. Thanks for the comment. Good luck with your 96 build!
I would easily pay 4 grand for this bike . I live in Helena mt . Where are you from ? You did an absolute amazing job on that bike . I have a 2000 kx 250 that I would love to do this exact build with . LOVE THE BUILD YOU DID !!! Might have to see what you would charge me to do this build again for me , if that would be something your interested in . Either way you do AMAZING builds , loved the cr build as well .
Hey Kevin, this bike ended up selling for $6,000! I live in Belgrade. Feel free to submit an inquiry regarding the build on this page of my website and I'll get back to you! kincadepavich.com/services/frame-up-dirt-bike-builds/
me here seeing how bad ass this bike is me having the same bike tho but having 6 grand into mine but not nearly as good looking as this😭 because i bought mine for 2500 and blew a crank and piston
I just sold my 2001 KX250, all stock that I purchased brand new and rode recreationally for $3800. These are great bikes.
Love the build and damn for how good that bike is I was thinking more tbh

Thanks a lot! They are the OEM frame guards. I ordered them directly from the OEM parts diagram on Rocky Mountain.
@@KincadePavich right on, tyvm man. Looking forward to future builds and videos.

Thanks bud, nice detail on your build
Worth every bit of 4K. If I sold mine here in Upstate NY I am not taking a penny less than 5K. I just could never bring myself to sell this one tho :)

I'll buy it right now
Awesome build & work 👍🏻
When you ordered graphics was there an option for this restyle kit? Or did u have to order them for a new 450 or something
Bought graphics for a 2020 KX450F, with the fork guards and swingarm being for a 2001 KX250 of course.
@@KincadePavich thank you! I've been trying to find that out for a while!

Dude I’m in Oregon you could get 5k here. I’m fully rebuilding a 96 and doing an aluminum subframe to custom fit 2020 plastics. But 4K is cheap here

is there a reason you didnt get number plate graphics

Where did you get the phathead rear plastics graphics? I love that!!!
Custom graphics from decal works!
How long did it take to do the build?
I started in October and finished in March. Tough to estimate total hours into it... I'd ballpark somewhere around 150 hours.
dope build. buts that seems like a lot of money.. wrenching is fun but them some hours.
Everyone has their opinion. Commend you on the build.
I want to move to Montana so bad but my mom and step dad do too but I’m only 13 and can’t really leave my dad and everyone else
Shit I’d buy it for 4.5 maybe 5k here in Michigan man dope build
Thank you! Bike sold for $6,000 last year
finna get a 2001 kx250 2 smoker😂
Where are you at? I'm looking for a KX 250. Are you willing to sell it yet?
Not quite ready to sell it yet... But it's located in Bozeman, MT, and I will sell it within a few months I think
@@KincadePavich Let me know. Love Bozeman. used to live there
@@coloradoelk5184 DM me on Instagram @kincadep
Worth at least 5k
I'll buy it for 2200
Looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor !!
I think you can get a lot more than 4K!
With how wild the current market is, I'll probably list it at 6K when I decide to sell it and see what happens!

Even more now
