My radiator had a crack in the same spot! And I seen other UA-camr with the same issue, must be common for the 2001 rads to get a pinhole in that spot.
Wow nice bike i got a restored 98 kx250 looking for another bike to restore now that its done i did bling mine out but saved all the stock parts its got a metallic grey frame with black plastics and a Chevy trucks graphics all nickel hardware everything hydraulic clutch its sick and very fast 😮
Beautiful man , just finishing my 2000 kx as well. Been doing it in bits and pieces as i get time between work and school. Love the wheel and tire setup you went with, too
Also i got those gpi radiator and wouldn't fit very well hits the pipe and the hose gets kinked by the fuel tank and i also got a fmf fatty because the stock pipe was like new and i didn't want to ruin it probably worth alot of money 😮
Aint nothing better than a full redo on an old bike. Outstanding.

@@JourdonGulick thanks man! I can wait to hear that sound.
Where did you bought the paint
Looks amazing! I’m doin the same thing on a kx250 but wondering where I can find one of those stands ?
The Pit Posse adjustable stand? Click on the link in the description, it will take you to the products I use.
What year is the bike?
What size tube do you use to flush your brake fluid? Or does it not really matter, just get it snug?
Just something snug
Can i ask how much you sold it for? Doing a frame up rebuild on my 2000 kx250 and don’t want to end up upside down too much.
$4500

The cover and seat foam has settled a bit and tightened up. Looks way better now.
