The builder had it kind of right with the ramps to slow down people that are just walking through for the claw traps, but that was pretty much it. No real pressure from that room of traps. Even without using throwables or a shield, nothing would stop someone from using a grapple and just ignoring the room. A shorter ceiling and a tighter path with pistons would make the room much more difficult. Though even if they did do it properly it wouldn't matter much. It's become a fairly common design, and at this point it feels uninspired/lazy. I'll give the builder in this one the benefit of doubt and say they're probably on the newer side and are trying to emulate bases that gave them a lot of trouble, but that doesn't mean I would give them any accolades.
I agree. I usually always give a "fun" to most bases though as long as they aren't using exploits because I know I hate when I see 15 raids on my bases and like 3 accolades. It's rude.

The game rewards you for making hard levels, not good levels. Making hard bs Kai so levels is easy. Making fun levels is hard. And at least when I played it when it was free on ps plus, there’s no way to curate the levels by how good they are, so it’s just a slog through the most bs kaizo unfun level design that’s made even worse when you’re low level because you only have like 2 ammo to start with so if there’s 3 enemies in choke points, nope, can’t do that level. And there’s not even a downvote option. They need to encourage fun levels and good level design or this game is already dead.
Sounds about right. Definitely agree on the encouraging good levels. I mean, if done correctly the damn accolade system alone should be enough. Trash levels don't get accolades while decent levels get a few and good levels get more. Then they could even curate the difficulty by how many people actually vote a level as Brutal rather than by their arbitrary difficulty detection.
Talking shit about other people's bases is not the way, my dude. Give constructive criticism, examples of how to do better, examples of your own bases that you've built which showcase the things you want to see - but don't just shit on other people's designs and say "do better", this is not the way. Good luck out in the skreets.
Nah this stupid shit is boring and uncreative. Once they add the ability to leave without losing rank, Kill Boxes will be dead and I'm looking forward to that.
🤣 maybe you should read the description again where I do give things you should actually think about when making a base. Now, go back to building your basic bitch bases and crying into your pillow, "my dude".
I know right? And the other guy that commented thinks I'm just shitting on this map. I'm just showing people and trying to tell them to actually put some thought and effort into their bases.

Ok? You don't need a lot to be creative.

These kind of bases are garbage. I exit them and dont rate if i see one.
Same here
Too bad you can’t say “I don’t like it” as an accolade but there’s a strict no muh hate policy
