thanks for all the guides, i was ready to drop the game because ARR makes you do so many raids and i don't like going in to raids blind. your guides really helped me to get through the slog of raids.
Glad I could help. Hang in there. The game just gets better as you go. This game is more like telling a story though so it does make you run pretty much all of its content as part of that story. Hope you can enjoy the rest of the game also though.
Thanks for the guide. I'm very new so I appreciated watching the entire fights. EDIT: Main tanked from Group A. Cleared on the first run. Thanks again!
Pretty much. I'm the same way though. So I make these to help people like me who prefer to do them the way they were intended. I feel like the ones who do just want to yolo it wouldn't be watching a guide anyways, except just to pick a fight on the internet 🙄.
Yea that's pretty chaotic one and hard to show all the different vantage points in one go. Team B usually goes into the belly so you would wait for the purple debuff on the ground that gives you mini then go into the green pool so he eats you. Inside the boss will be 2-3 adds that you just hold while the dps destroys the walls. Pretty simple once you do it once but confusing the first time.
Level abilities work based on your character level. Since this is a level 50 dungeon every 2 people is a increment of 100 since their levels will add to 100, 200, etc. In similar terms I could of also said if there is an even amount of people in the circle. Since there are other examples of level type abilities in FF14 and other FF games though it helps to think about the level increments and not just flat values.
Usually yes because you never know if the main tank will mess up and end up dieing. If I'm not the main tank I usually turn my tank stance off at the beginning of the fight and then after a minute or two I'll turn it back on. That way I'm still 2nd on the agro list but not competing with the main tank.
Thank you so much, I noticed you have so many guides for ff14. Got a sub from me, and look forward to learning how to be a better tank
Thanks. Hope it helped.

Thanks, man! Nice work on the video. Been using your guides exclusively and they have yet to disappoint. Keep up the great work!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the vid. Yeah, these days you can just yolo these raids but I still like to know what is expected of me.

I'm confused by the level 100 flair mechanic. What do you mean by # of people in the circle must be an "increment of 100"?

Wow, this one sounds like an awful lot to learn just to progress through the MSQ.
It can be but there is 23 other people who have probably mostly completed it before so should be pretty easy.
Should off tanks have tank stance active or not? Also, what should they do if they aren't main tanking (for bosses)?
