I'm considering ULT wear to replace MF-1000 xm4.
Call me crazy but i prefer my xb900 over my xm5 any day they are a lot louder and I prefer more clamping force especially if you have a small head
LDAC available on Android but not on iPhone 😞
So here's my only concern. I got the ULT Wear and I love them for the most part, with one exception. They need more volume. One or two more volume steps would do it for me. I also have the crusher anc 2, and they have slightly higher max volume. So I'm gonna spam this comment around, maybe we can convince sony to give this to us via a software update. I know they want to protect our ears (avoid lawsuits), maybe they can program the headphones to give a loud volume warning like many phones already do and keep it pushing. some content is just recorded at a lower volume...

No offence. I suggest you get your ear checked, lol even 70 volume sound loud as fk already, how do people even want 120 volume? Lol, it's like blasting car speaker directly beside your ear😂😂

Get some Otex drops and a bulb cleaner lol. Your ears might be partially blocked!
I got the ULTs and they're my favorite headphones now :) So much fun! Yeah the XM5 are a tad more crisp, but they're not nearly as fun.
How’s the ANC in your opinion compared to XM5s? I’m a basshead who just happened to be considering good ANC headphones to work in coffee shops.
@@YukyDoodle Oh, it works amazing. I didn't do elaborate A/B tests to hear the nuance, but it almost completely cuts out the TV and talking sounds. They use the same processor for NC, the only slight difference in frequency you can hear is from a differently tuned driver.
I'm absolutely sure you'll be happy with the NC and the bass is awesome.

@@YukyDoodle Glad I could help! I like the premium feel of the XM5s, but I was never super excited to use them because the bass was too weak for my taste. I'm so glad Sony went back to their roots of the bassy fun sound. But quality at the same time, it's not just loud imprecise rumble like some other bass headphones.
@@lukastemberger which color did you get? Thinking of going white which is a bold choice I feel cuz I usually do black which is always a safe clean choice.

when it comes to headphones I go for the flagship but after hearing examples of the Ult Wear, I am interested in the ULT feature with the button for more bass. ULT 1 settings seems to my liking and ULT 2 would be too much. if only they add this feature to the XM6 so I can still have the clarity of the high and mids but have the button there if I need more bass. I have the Soundscore space Q45 which does the job and it has the bassup button but its too artificial so its not great so looks like Sony got it right but if they add to the XM6. Had the XM4 so skipped XM5 as I like it to fold.

I have the XM3s, XM5s and ULT Wear. ULT are my favorite, they sound so fun!

They are a much better headphone than the Scullcandy Crusher ANC 2 all the way around from my usage of both headphones, I would have also compared them to my crusher evos but one of my ear cups for the sensory bass stopped working and it's basically just tweeter mode from them on.
@@RJ_Uploads how comfortable are the ULTs are the ear cups deep? I know they are wider and feet ears better but does your ear sit up against the driver?
@@sortofataco62 me personally they fit great, the clamping force is a non issue, they are deep enough to wear my ears don't touch the material at all while wearing them, but I can only speak from my daily experience with them, I'm wearing them now which I have been rocking them since I got them Monday and I have had no discomfort at all, I personally like to say comfort is king and if an item isn't comfortable to you then they just may as well stay in the store, so in other words these are my favorite headphones right now for my ears and head because I get no fatigue at all wearing them. 👍🏾👍🏾 Hope this helps

I've heard the Crushers and I have the ULTs. I prefer the sound of ULTs. They really have a similar sound signature to the XM3s plus all the bass you'd want. Just a tad bit less crisp, but the bass is amazing and so much fun. I love them.
