i got these today and so far these seem to hold their own when compared to my xm5's though it did take a while to tune in the EQ settings in the EqualizerAPO app on pc to get the audio like i like. surprisingly though while wired works just like on xm5 and other Sony headphones, meaning you do not need extra power from the battery. but the wired does benefit the powered on state as well. but the ULT mode does not work wired, not even when turned on. not huge loss since you can get the similar results from EQ settings on your pc as well. but overall good value headphones in my opinion.
You actually damn near changed my life with this eq Mine was pretty similar to yours but i didnt know how good more clear bass would make it. I feel like they're really close to the xm4s in quality with this
Can I use these headphones while working out in the gym and do the earcups get damaged due to sweat? Or is it normal to get sweaty in the ear area while watching a movie or at home? Do you get sweaty after wearing it for a long time?😊

The bass is really fun, but even with the improvements it made with its haptic technology over its predecessors, the haptics themselves inherently have technical limitations when it comes to how much bass frequencies they respond to. If Skullcandy comes out with an equalizer dedicated to the Crusher feature where we can customize what frequencies they respond to (20h, 30hz, 40hz, 50hz, 60hz), then they'll have a truly unbeatable pair of bass headphones on their hands.
I had my sony wh-XB910n and i love them sadly they broke. So then i saw that sony made a updated version of them so i bought them at best buy same day i absolute love them! i give them a 9/10

I took a leap and bought these headphones. Out of the box did not like the sound. I'm used to IEM, which budget wise make excellent sound. After checking reddit and youtube, I tuned the EQ, I effing love these headphones now. Plus they work excellent wired to a PS5 and XBOX Series. Alot of headphones buzz on these systems when you run power on the headphones or sound weak/low volume..
I've been using my Crusher Evo for the past 3.5 years. It still works fine. All good with a new ear pad. The battery is magnificent. The simulated bass of Crusher is too much. Hence I'm using my own EQ curve in Poweramp EQ, further with keeping the Crusher bass slider at 15%. And I hate the sound staging of Crusher Evo. I don't feel the staging is decent in Crusher. But recently I started noticing this ULT, XM4 and XM5. Now I'm curious to know the bass difference between both. I actually don't know if I'm missing out any overall better sounding headphones with decent bass as I haven't looked for an alternative all these 3.5 years with my Crusher Evo.
Probably because there are nothing good with decent bass and better soundstage. I feel like once you open soundstage you loose the thump reverb from bass because it spreads out more. You will be disappointed if you have crusher anc 2. These ult wear are boring af.

Even with ULT off they have given the bass a 10dB lift. In the app you can set it flat, but even so the mid and treble is compromised. My 45 year old BeyerDynamics DT301's sound better.
Actually I feel like they block voices better than the xm4, it’s the low end they don’t block as well which is a little disappointing. Overall I think the xm4s are better, but I couldn’t deal with the shallow ear cups. These have way deeper cups which can accomodate my largish ears.
I have both. The crushers have more bass because of the haptic effect. The Sonys however have really deep bass but very good overall sound quality. For the gym I'd go with the crusher anc2 but for general listening I'd pick the Sony.
Bring back the XB900's under $100 with LDAC and APTX. Paid $85 for mine when the XB910's came out and they still sound great to me. Prefer them over my XM4's for most things. I prefer the XB and Extra Bass Sony branding to ULT. I have been buying Sony Extra Bass stuff since the 80s.
Crazy thing is there are better options at the budget range $50-100 . Better overall sound and features. These will sell for sure not because they are better but because of the brand name.
Mine arrived last week. Comfortable, great bass, great battery life, elite noise cancelation. Winners.

How about hinge problem? There are lot of complaints about it.
Loud is ok but when the volume is above 80% then the Bass reduces and the sounds seems like bass less

The 910n has awful tuning. The ULT is leagues ahead in every department, and its not even close.
