Hello Sir, I’m not a fan of the Defender, but so far, it appears that these new air cartridges are performing more reliably. I appreciate the data, as I have been anxiously awaiting to see what this can do. 3 years ago I saw a prototype for this product, where it was a single barrel, and was tested with a 17cc air cartridge, that generated 200 f.p.e. There was also a 27 cc cartridge that made up to 450 f.p.e. So I’m very curious as to why they opted for smaller and less powerful cartridges? Either way it still seems to be quite effective in this configuration. I’m even more curious as to whether the other air cartridge designs I saw will be coming: A replica of the S&W 500 magnum, the Barrett M82, and the .338 La Pua. These might be the coolest air guns in the world, but they may be the hottest as well; as in bringing the most heat to our industry. I obviously hope for the best, and that everyone is responsible. Thank you for all that you continue to contribute, and be well.
Would this be "lethal"? Here's a better question: Would this STOP an intruder of your home or place of business? Is 2 shots even enough, if there's more than 1 intruder (probably not)? Is there a more viable (multi-shot) alternative, within the PCP airgun space, for home/business defense? So, big-bore stopping power and enough shots to deal with multiple intruders? And hopefully semi-auto.
Are you going to stock air carts on their own? I've got one of these on the way but I want to get some more air carts because two really is not enough in reality if you want to use it.
What made you choose to be so close? That thing is awesome. I’m on it. That really be my next one. That sucker will ride in the truck with me.. oh ya are the arrows made for that thing or are those custom also? Dude that’s the real big boy toy
Form and function. This looks, feels and shoots like a sawed off shotgun, which would be a close quarters weapon. In my mind I want to see what it does a foot from the target
I'm thinking about buying one of these so, Questions: 1) Can you describe/show your bullet stop? I don't want to over penetrate mine. 2) Can you go into the detail of ear protection required?
Multilayered. When possible I like to examine the pellet so is I am firing at ballistic gelatin I have something softer behind it like a dummy or cardboard. Next is wood then steel plate
@@texomaprecisionpellet7545 Thanks, I shoot a Diana Bandit (Wes Bashforth conversion), a AEA SF (18") and a Hatsan Blitz (all in 25 cal) with night vison in my suburban back yard on the edge of town. I'm plinking steel at 40 yards. I'm trying not to upset my neighbors by having a bulletproof backstop and moderators. I even shared the Blitz with my neighbors and the local LEO's with my phone number incase anybody freaks out at the FA Brrrrrrriiiiippppp (1200 rpm) and bothers 911. I like the fact that I can plink in full auto at night without earpro. I only shoot from noon to 9pm (10 pm on fri/sat) because I'm certain some of my neighbors work. I'm starting to think the AEA Harpoon is maybe not the best "next" PCP airgun for me. Again, thank you for a great review!
Thanks for the video! Humbly request chrono numbers in next video? Can you cock it without cartridges and close it, put it on safe, then open and load cartridges / recock it, and will it stay on safe?
For some reason it doesn't open for me,neither clicking the link in description or by searching it on google. Same from laptop or mobile. Anyways loved the vid!!
@@MarkMagalis-zy5gy no clue, but I will test ASAP. Toxic Matrix just did a video and he was doing some excellent shooting with pistol barrels at 25 yards

I have been testing by keeping inside sealed ziplocks and have had 0 leakage for four (4) cartridges compressed at 4000 psi for 3 weeks now. Shot them yesterday and they worked perfectly. You could test your own cartridges same way when you get yours to give you peace of mind
Thanks I needed this video
Been patiently waiting for someone to make a video of this thing firing! Thank you!

I haven’t used a chrono yet, but I think it has about the same power as a 16ga shotgun
buy a fucking gun.
It would be awesome if they made a pump action version with a loading tube like a traditional pump action.

Are the air cartridges refillable?
Yes, they work with a small stainless steel burst disk. Each shot costs about a dime

How are the Zeus stocks coming along?
They ship tomorrow
somethings up, cuz everyone only shoots double barrel at once. Do you have to cock it 2 times to shoot 2 separate shots?
Nope, when cocking it, the gun locks back the 2 seperate firing pins.

@@blankexpression2u Absolutely. It’s like a Defender on steroids
Do you know the fpe on the arrows?
The barrels are not rifled?
The barrels are rifled, the barrel tubes (holders) that I am firing the shotshells out of are not
Which website sells these Harpoon?
So this shoots arrows pellets and slugs??
Yup, pellets, arrows, and shotshells
@@texomaprecisionpellet7545 wow
If you do Single barrel, do you need to cock it twice?
No
Nope, the one cocking action locks back the two independent hammers. You can then fire them individually or at the same time
