I have two Arken 1-8's and the more I use them then more I'm liking them. One is on my.308 13.7" Noveske and the other is on my Noveske 13.7" 5.56. great optic in my opinion.
I recently just built out a .308 bolt gun also with an Arken scope and bought some AAC 175gr OTMs. I will preface by saying that I'm still a new long range shooter, and there could be other variables in this, but at 100m I was also getting somewhat disappointing accuracy as well, around 2-2.5 moa.
I’m still working on my bolt gun but so far on my AR10 308 barrels are picky. My ar 10 hates HORNEDY 175 match 2MOA. But likes 175 SMK 1.25 but it loves HORNEDY 155 0.75. 🤷♂️ It’s gonna suck but I say buy one box of every grain. Different manufactures. Some ppl say you have to break in the barrel but again not sure how true that is.
I would rather have a more precise aiming solution. I wish Arken would give us a mil tree reticle Arken could do it well and keep the price of entry down. I have grown past the kind of Gross aiming BDC reticles Mils makes life easier!
There is always Athlon Optics. I don't want to sound toxic but whenever influencers all get a product from a company to push at the same time. I steer away, maybe it's the contrarian in me? But if a product is good and proves it's worth, natural word of mouth is the best marketing. Just my opinion
@adamgriffin I do understand exactly what you're saying! But paid advertising has been going on for a very long time. But there is something about getting inundated with a product that really gets under my skin also.
Arken does have tree reticles. Just not in their lpvo. And i agree. A tree reticle would be a lot better. Also, like stated in the video. I'm not pushing any product. Just teaching how to use it. I state very clearly I prefer mil everything.
I'm genuinely curious how you feel about the lines with no center point of aim. Doesn't seem very precise if you need to split the distance and use the line itself instead of the box or the intermittent dots
thats wierd for the ammo. I used the 77 gr AAC out to 600 yards and im under 1 MOA with a blackout defense . The speeds are within 10 fps as well for me. Under 8 actually in the spread.
I would really like if more LPVOs had a reticle like the Nightforce FC-DMX. Personally I like how useful it is while being not too cluttered.
Thank you 🙏🏾 for taking the time to make this video on BDC in MOA🙏🏾

Good info and instructions for any bdc
Thanks for another good video
i wish they made this with their mil reticle
How far away from the 800 yard berm is the road with the cars? Really like that the video shows the mirage, and the dust kicked up by the impacts.
It says in the video. OVER 4 miles away
Haven’t seen you in a while… hope you’re doing well brother
Post every Sunday man!
Use it on my 13.7 SOLGW, took a lot of work to get used to it. My experience has been better with the 77gr AACs
Got mine on a 16 criterion hybrid that’s what I’m going to try and also 75gr
I am trying a Arlen lpvo right now got it in some trading and it really doesn’t seem like a bad scope for the price range

There is absolutely a break in process for barrels.
@@WeaponSnatcher ok cool that’s good to know. Once u get my bolt gun going I’ll make sure to break it in right. 🤙 thanks
I'm surprised that ammo did so poorly, I've had pretty good luck with it

@WeaponSnatcher I know and I didn't accuse. I understand that y'all are making demonstration content for the application of the reticle.
For real. I honestly feel that would be a better option.
I’m looking into the atibal 1-10 mil. FFP. Cheaper than buying the $1800 NF 1-8
Would you recommend using this reticle/technique in a DMR/ recce match?
I recommend mil everything for everything.
Hell yeah
Where can I find that stock ? Or is it panted

If you're only sitting one rifle at distance would you still go with the Kestrel 5700 over the 2700?
Why or why not?
5700. Why, never have to get another and if you get more you have room for it. Also faster computing and more features. 100% 5700 all day
I have this scope. I live in SC. I hope you plan to return to the Sawmill in 2025.
It's on the schedule on the website
I’m still not understanding dope or anything yall teach about it 😅it makes me feel so stupid
What is it that you're misunderstanding, I'll try to help clear it up
Looks promising but I prefer my primary arms 1-8x ACSS reticle. Good work sir!
Everyone have a great day 😊
Intro music was poop, please, never again. Waifu culture is weird.
