All of the videos on my channel with the TIkka Tac A1 include the NF ATACR 7-35x56 with Mil-XT reticle. Soda can hits at 1,006 and 1,380 yards etc. While the Mil-XT is great... i still prefer the H59. More lines = more points of reference for holds during shots at distance.
Thank You for making this. Will be making the switch over to Mils from MOA and am specifically looking at Nightforce because of the Mil-XT reticle. Have 3 rifles, one being built currently that will have scopes and the Mil-XT for all of them is the plan.
I have the 2-20 NF with the mil-C............love it. I have it on an AR-10 at the moment. NLX billet set/18" criterion barrel/lantac bcg. I've only had 500 yds to play with but it's child's play to keep those 168 grain (less than ideal) on a 12" plate out there. With my Nosler 175 /Varget load it's gonna kill for sure BUT I haven't got back out to the mountains yet.......I love my NF scopes. I have a trijicon credo 2-10 on my 18" 556 SPR and that thing has proven to be pretty good too, but I'm a simp for NF........they just make such great stuff.
Thanks for the good video. From one Marine to another I hope you raised a glass to all of our Brothers & Sisters past, present & future on The Marine Corps Birthday also Veterans Day tomorrow 👊🏻 🇺🇸 🥃 Sláinte
Just bought my first optic. NF NX8 4-32 w Tremor3 😊 i live in windy ahh Cal desert. Tremor3 for precision shooting with wind adjustments in reticle. My only question is would i have been better with 2.5-20 over 4-32. My rifle is 18” 556 SPR build
From the West, of the Rockies, East, through most of Kansas, on the conservative maps, is part of The Great Plains. The Great Plains, as a whole, usually have average higher winds than the Midwest. I live in Ks. and am not arguing with your statement, of Colorado being windy, just saying it's not part, of the Midwest. Liked your vid! Good info on reticles! ;-)
I’m pretty new to this long range shooting stuff and mil especially. Wondering why you are referencing yards for distance if shooting mils. Why not meters? Isn’t mils in the metric system?
@ I’ve been using a 1.7 but mainly because my earpro gets in the way with 1.54, i always thought 1.93 would have been too high for long range shooting but clearly it doesn’t really matter if you have all of your data entered correctly
Used to be. There is a "Private" range out there. Membership is by invitation only. Last i was there in early 2020 the sales guys at "Ortiz Custom Guns" were members. X Rangers / guys who work for Daniel Defense i believe use the same range but it may be a different range. I was a Ranger and i was interested in joining but moved to Utah instead so i could go shoot in the desert.
Been up for 25 minutes, 71 view and no comments? Either people are lazy or UA-cam is drunk again. Whether Colorado is "Midwest" or not is irrelevant. The wind (during spring and fall especially) can hit 20-30mph easily. A couple years ago i spent a few hours watching trees get blown down in the park across the street from the pharmacy i work at before we were sent home early.

Really appreciate the Sunday videos man. Super informative. I ran a CMC single stage in my spr for a while, and I went back to SSAE.

Bought a NX8 2.5-20 with the MIL-XT for my .308 POF Revolution
Do they offer a spotting scope and or binoculars with the same milling capabilities built in
They do, it is actually a pretty new product they offer. it isnt a mil xt however it is an incredibly precise mil reticle.
You definitely get what you pay for and then some with that optic.
I have the same optic and I believe it’s the best optic for an SPR or DMR currently out
you should copy the link below and watch the video itll take you to that i did about that. ua-cam.com/video/TH4DqjtzdGg/v-deo.html

That's an extremely high magnification range for a 5.56 but go get after it
Bro, your burpees!! Don’t wanna pull a hemi😂😂
I haven't done them in years!

I’m pretty new to this long range shooting stuff and mil especially. Wondering why you are referencing yards for distance if shooting mils. Why not meters? Isn’t mils in the metric system?
It makes zero difference.
Looks srtangley like the h2cmr that S&B has
sorry man, i looked it up, its remarkably different.
@WeaponSnatcher i should have been more specific, the cross hair portion minus the Christmas tree portion
Is this at pawnee sportsmans center?
Be careful with that keymo I've seen a bunch of people's cans get shot through because it came loose
Been using keymo for 4 years. Zero issue. If people are shooting them then they probably didn't tighten them well enough.
@WeaponSnatcher hopefully
I bet you’re glad you can wear a jacket without sweating now lol
Side note, how come you use 1.93?
better for a lto of positions. however, it is about to change.

Anyone in the Savannah GA area? Looking for people to train with

Argument started at the range today: who are better irl shooters m&k or controller players?
I said m&k bc no aim assist.
❤
