I feel like a sunken ship. Dr Gersh is throwing me a life boat of information that I wish my own doctors provided instead of drilling holes in the hull and walking away to their next patient.
Hormone therapy with estradiol like we use now has actually been shown to REDUCE Alzheimer's changes in the highest risk women with the ApoE4 gene. I also believe testosterone is important to replace for brain health too.
This was fantastic. I enjoyed every second of your video. Could you post the optimal ranges for a post menopausal woman on the Estradiol, Microcrystalline Progesterone and BioIdentical Cream Testosterone?
You look lovely, Dr. Gersh! As always, thank you for this important information. You’re such a breath of fresh air - I love your talks and your books💕 I’m just under my 10 year window, and am FINALLY on an estrodiol patch (0.1), 100mg daily progesterone pill, and vaginal estrogen cream. Even with multiple fractures and osteoporosis, it took many years to find a practitioner willing to listen. Will this HRT dosage be enough to further protect my bones (along with walking and Dr. Betz’ exercise program)??? I’d love a telehealth consultation if you do those outside of California!💕
@@user-xs9835 Hi☺️ 0.1 is not the lowest dose - my first patch was half of that! I’m not sure if Canada has the same dosage measurement as the US so I can’t really answer your question🥴
@@user-xs9835 The U.S. patches use the mg unit on the front of the package. It says 0.1 mg. I’m guessing yours uses mcg units and reads 100 mcg on the package. Both are the same strength - 0.1 mg = 100 mcg. Hope this helps.
Thank you for this. Can you speak to the study or how we know that equiline helps to protect against Alzheimers? It's in Avrum Blumings book "Estrogen Matters" and I want to know how we know this, and if we should use equiline as HRT?
what if someone had pcos and endo then hysterectomy ? mow 51 yrs old how can we know were not going to worsen alzheimers? fatty liver ? insulin resistance?

Makes so much sense! Thank you!
Why would they have women ingest these products that were deemed unsafe and that caused such a scare in 2002, for a newer study? I am baffled.
Hi Dr Gersh, what is the human-identical progesterone called?

What does it mean 0.1 ? Is it the lowest dosage? I am from Canada and I see 100 on my patch or 1.56 mg. Also on daily 100mg of prometrium like you.
