#robocop
Peter Weller's performance is outstanding.
I don’t care what anybody says, the first two Robocop movies with Peter Weller will NEVER be topped or outdone.
@@leroyjenkins4811completely agreed
💯with out a doubt
The third one was awesome, it wasn't as good, especially with the pg 13 rating and him losing his partner but I still loved it, I loved the villains especially.
The Auto-9 and the Cobra Assualt Rifle are both powerful pieces of weaponry.
"I buy that for a dollar!"
@tylermorrison Yeah those are the two guns any fan would love to fire at a gun range even if they are not a gun enthusiast at least once.
the Cobra Assault Rifle is just a modified Barrett .50BMG Rifle
i myself have always wanted the shroud and compensator for the Beretta 93R
Cobra Assualt Cannon, not Cobra Assualt Rifle.
They call it a "cannon," but to truly warrant that moniker, it would need to have a minimum bore diameter of 20mm. 12.7mm is certainly no slouch, but a "cannon" it technically ain't.
Robo cop's gun and judge Dread's gun are 2 of my favorite movie guns
Until 2012 robocop was the best judge dredd film
What about deckers gun from blade runner
The assault rifle from aliens
I was surprised by just how many fantasy guns I could think of off hand😂
DMC : Ebony & Ivory
Bayonetta: Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Gungrave: Cerberus
Trigun: Angel Arm 😅
Good taste👌
The effects department involved with the original movie in particular did such a good job integrating the pistol and its movements into the suit, and Weller's performance really sold the power behind it.
That scream the guy gives before crashing the motorcycle is f'cking hilarious. It kills me every time.
Killed him too
@DboiTheSavage No it didn't. Emil survived until the end when he got doused in toxic waste and splattered all over Clarence Boddiker's front windshield.
Emil, the toxic avenger
@@dariness7176 HA!
Robocop was a masterpiece thru and thru.
The toxic-waste melted man, still haunts me
That shit fucked me up as a child lol
R.i.P Emil
Fun fact- His appearance in the make-up was kept a secret from the rest of the cast. When he approaches Leon Nash begging for help, actor Ray Wise’s scream was legitimate and he was actually horrified. He thought a disfigured freak snuck onto the set and tried to attack him.
get away from me man!
It use to scare the crap outta me as child is always fast forward with the tape

Robocop: I’m gonna do what’s called a pro gamer move.
Got myself KSC Heavyweight Auto-9 airsoft not too long ago.
As a Robo fan, it's a must purchase!
I am sure they are back in stock as we speak.
I have an auto 9 Airsoft pistol too! I had two but gave one to a friend. Mine is broken so it's displayed in my garage mancave.
I thought about buying one of those I want a replica
I LOVED this!
I really wish you would do a video like this one about the Lawgiver from the Judge Dredd movie... It's one of my absolute favorite Movie Weapons and I think it would make an interesting video...
However! Thanks for creating this video and sharing it with all your subs! Maybe you'll take my idea and give us some more info about the Lawgiver! A video about that Motorcycle from Judge Dredd would be a cool idea, too!
This person makes an excellent point. I would also like to vote for a video about the firearm from Judge Dredd.
@@sleeplessknight00 .... Thank you for agreeing with me! Considering the quality of this content, I have no doubt that he would make an interesting video on the subject...
Being a gun lover of fantasy and real i would so be incredibly happy to aquire this beautiful weapon
Man what an iconic ass gun and an iconic ass suit. Both are my faves in cinematic history.
Yeah that’s a great man’s weapon. Beautiful
I really enjoy the subject matters of this channel 👊🏻😬💯
Today's Friday, but not the 13th, yet Jason decides to take a break from his busy schedule of creatively "offing" horny teens to watch a Marvelous Video about Robocop? Wild times!
Yep, the Auto 9 is a badass weapon no doubt about it.
I've always maintained that the automatic Berettas used by the Clerics in Equilibrium were more than just a subtle callback to the Auto 9. Especially given the fact both have a distinctive muzzle flash, their most iconic users house spare magazines close to the wrist area, and they are both meant to compliment and extend the shooter's abilities. The only thing Preston didn't have with his pistol(s) was different types of ammunition.
Except robocop is aweosme and that movie was ass to the 100th
There is only one discrepancy in this video I found was the think about Robocop's weapon. The Auto-9 was not a Beretta 92, but a Beretta 93R. The R in that model stands for Raffica, which means Burst in Italian.
Imagine if Robo had been given a PAIR of these?!
He was called robocable
Robocop: ❌
Robocable: ✅
You keep topping your videos I swear everyday its another amazing video. As always keep it up homes👍
The auto 9 Automatic pistol is the best gun ever made in fection.
Never saw him reload the blicky in my entire life😂😂
reload in his leg ?
@@cole003f that's possible tbh I've never thought of that!
Edit: I just looked it up and it stated he was seen reloading the auto 9 twice in the movies. It has a 50 round magazine so since it's high capacity he doesn't have to reload that often but it has a high rate of fire so he should've actually reloaded more than twice in movies.
hes reloaded it in the first movie and the second movie. the first movie it was before the showdown. "get the car" the second was in the drug lab in Robocop 2
@@yagamijubei28 I don't know why I don't remember that. I'm going to rewatch them.
@@yagamijubei28correct! I remember thinking “so, it DOES reload!” When I saw it as a kid 😂
Yeah but now you gotta cover Clarence Boddicker's mega rifle (that was a hollywood suped up Barret M82) he handed out at the end of the movie.
“Cobra assault canon, state of the art bang bang.” If I got the quote right
I never realized before how much his hand shakes when he fires that thing. :D
That's because he bought the dlc package with unlimited bullets 😂😂
RoboCop had the switch before we even thought of making a Semi Auto a Fully 😂
One of the best guns ever made
Greatest movie ever
Yo much respect to this channel yall putting in some real work 💪🏾🇺🇲
Robocop is a classic movie and it still hold up today and his Auto-9 is amazing and Robocop wouldn't be Robocop without it.
Yes yes and yes this guns analysis is long long overdue !
Now imagine the classic Crocodile Dundee “that’s not a knoife” scene, but swap him for Robocop and the knife for the Auto-9
About the ammo mystery I always assumed that Murphy's auto 9 not only took mags but every time he holstered his weapon it would be refilled from an ammo pack stored in his leg
super underrated, fantastic action and an love story... love lost story?
My very favorite fictional pistol, I wouldn’t mind building a variant of this (semi auto obviously) from my .40 S&W Beretta just for the lolz!
A lot of people get the Magazine capacity of this gun so very wrong, in the game and even in this video it is also wrong. it is not a 50 round magazine, it is a 60 round magazine. in Robocop 1, in the drugs lab shootout, he shot 18 people in three round bursts. 18x3=54, not 50. meaning the weapon is built with a quad column, 15 round magazine(15x4)making it a 60 round handgun. this is only due to it being fictional as a quad column handgun would look ridiculously bulky however due to Robocop's size of his hands, the gun looks normal in his hands but to human civilians the gun looks enormous.
As crook, seeing Robocop appear at your front door is like a certain captain (after fumbling a mission) of a star destroyer seeing Darth Vader come aboard his ship: it means somebody really messed up!😂
A version of the Auto 9 is featured in a couple of the Far Cry games (I think a neon version is included in the FC3 Blood Dragon and Far Cry 5/6)
Thank you so much 😊
I always thought it was a modded Desert Ealge until I got to see it from the front and you can see its clearrly much thinner than the DE.
the DE was planned to be the gun he used but it was actually too small. the gun is a Modded Beretta 93R with a Tombstone barrel upgrade.
The gun that Shadowrunners know as the Ares Predator series of heavy pistols.
I got one of the official auto 9 BB guns when they first came out still love it after all these years
if memory serves Robo was supposed to be able to feed ammo into the pistol from his palm, and this may be where the 50 round thing came from.
This and the pulse rifle are guns I will have in my airsoft collections
Robocop is a Warhammer 40k Servitor.
The Far Cry franchise keeps referring to the Auto 9 as A.J.M 9. Perhaps it's the initials of who the weapon belongs to.
On the Hawaii 5-0 reboot they did a remake of an episode from the original series….
In the remake the bad guy was played by Peter Weller!
And just to test the audience’s knowledge…
There was a scene where McGarrett and Danno were in a gun shop talking to the owner when in a far shot where you can see the shop’s owner and McGarrett and Danno you can see a wall at the back of the shop a collection of guns…..
And there, on the wall, sticking out like a sore thumb was an Auto 9, plain as day!
I guess they wanted to pay tribute to Mr. Weller who was playing the bad guy of the week.
The hookman episode, I never watched the original series, but I really should. That episode was awesome.
Looks like a desert eagle but shoots like a Beretta
It is a 3burst shot Beretta pistol
Love Robocop, never noticed his arm when he shoots or reloads, the suits arm gloves separate. I know it was cause the thing was hard to move in, so it had to be done. Great movie in any case
in the game he has a never seen reload with one of the guns. it has a rotating charging handle and as he places the magazine, his entire forearm from the glove and hand all rotate when he rotates the charging dial.
You seen that kel-tek P50? It's looks are totally inspired by the Auto 9.
this is awesome!!
I always called masses from perfect dark "robocop gun" lol
I would love to see the auto 9 with an extended magazine. 😊
So essentially a LAWGIVER?
That was a bad ass gun when I was a kid
Hope you do a push for the New Robocop Video game that just came out. Robocop Rogue City is a Must Buy For Robocop fans and gamers it has a Great review of how Great the Game is.
Perhaps Turok’s Mag 60 burst pistol was inspired by Robocop’s Auto 9?
H3vr, absolutely love shooting this gun, respec'!
Let's just keep recycling the same footage over and over again while I talk about this gun over and over again.
Several actors ended up in Star Trek.
Do a video about the Jumanji gun.
Some of the early production work for Robocop are very clearly influenced by Judge Dredd, so the Auto-9 having a similar Swiss Army Gun ability isn't that surprising, to me at least.
Something about the 20 round capacity with 3 round burst naggles at the sensibilities, though, why not 21? Perhaps it's just theory crafting, but stackable 7 round clips just seems like it would work, especially if Robocop has an auto reload feature.
besides the look this gun seems to be based off the Lawgiver from Judge Dredd with its variable ammunition capabilities only reason Dredd had to use voice control is his head wasn't basically a computer though with the justice aspect of both characters it's easy to see the comparison except Judge Dredd was a little more free with the violence
Movie lore is Auto 50cal
I think it was a Beretta something or other. It had the compressor with an auto switch.
I'm also sure robocop sidearm and weapons package is neural linked that no one else can fire his weapons by themselves
it links to his targeting system. it can switch to the main system in the helmet or the sub system in his eyes. it was shown in the series that a villian used the helmet to be able to shoot the gun
awesome gun & movie, but kinda just a rip-off of the lawgiver. the thigh holster rocked though
The new Robocop proved to be a good update and reboot of this character, though the Iconic traditional is cool, the 80's can't stay dated forever. The reboot though is far better acting, of course, it's why needed Robocop reboot and everything it entailed. Unfortunately the new movie sounds better on mute and could've been thought out better
The fact that you opened with a multitude of clips from a fan funded, non-canon "Robocop" film in out.
Good day, Sir.
i'm not a fan of the multi ammo thing in one Magazine, auto-9 or lawgiver
The guy in Prime Directives was way too damn short
Can you do a lore video on the cobra assault cannon please ?
isn't the silver screen just black and white films?
Went all out with choosing different images and scenes for that video. Lol 😅 feck me, that was lazy.
Nice but why playing 10 times the same images??
UA-cam rules, mate
I thought he kept the spare magazine in the other leg. Also the rear sight of the Auto 9 looks like a gutter sight.
why didn't it reload from where his hamstring is? hidden auto -load.
8:20 That could work if it was belt-fed.
9:45 Reducing muzzle-jump in the process.
Beretta R93... alias Auto-9
Have you guys seen the game yet looks amazing.
this video has more filler than the bodywork of my first car.
even my wife doesn't crap on this much.
u can see videos of modified dessert eagles being made full auto
Where can I buy this?
Discovered the Berretta? More like a special effects guy had one in his car for defense and brought it.inside as an option.
The amazing thing is that the guy made it from parts ordered from Beretta and yes it is actually a real gun
No he didn't. The gun was a stock 93R from Beretta. The additional parts were designed and made by the production team.
@@skepticalbadger yes he did. He had to order the individual parts and put the gun together because the gun maker at that time didn't want to sell guns to studios.
Could use a 32 round Beretta magazine
I'd buy that for a dollar!
*Inconsistent data - you said it holds 50rds. then later say 20rds.
it is actually 60 if you watch the first movie. he shoots 54 rounds in the drug lab shootout
Imagine this gun in call of duty?
it is in call of duty. Black Ops 2. the M93R.
It's not a Beretta M92... It's a M93R.
7 round burst?! More like 7 round salvo
can't wait for the Glock 69
"Drop it"
Not to mention that cool fuckin firing sound
2 times the last sylable of the sentence was clipped put. Maybe your editing is too tight.
Always thought Robocops gun was good but still think he needed more fire power could of done with another weapon in his other leg
I have a video on my channel called the Weapons in Robocop that doesn't show the same clips over and over again
Wait a second I think it might be it's using a special type of propellant or gunpowder must be better than smokeless cuz believe me I've never seen any gun cause muzzle fire that's blue
Burke was good as Murphy too but the movie script was horrible.
People really spend too much time obsessing over nonsense....Why does it even need a trigger, he could have fired electronically? He's got giant robot arms - why on Earth is he visibily reacting to recoil?....
"Duh, RoboCop's gun" - bunch of stupid nonsense for an adult to invest time in.
Not nice of Robocop to shoot at Saul
Rail powered micro ammo
