I am overwhelmed at your dedication and attention to detail in crafting this amazing tribute. You and your beautiful wife are beyond impressive. I had the pleasure of actually being on set for the filming of Robocop all those many years ago as I was the security manager at Plaza of the Americas in Dallas where a number of the sequences were filmed, and it continues to be one of my favorite films to this day. I wonder if you are able to actually sit in a car with the costume on, as Peter Weller was not able to, and his car sequences were filmed with him only wearing the upper portion of the suit. He also lost about 5-10 pounds a day through sweat/water loss, so I expect wearing your suit is no picnic, especially in Texas heat. Again, well done!
I wore the suit recently to Plaza of Americas and rode the elevator in my suit..it was amazing! Check out my OCP video to see. That's awesome and really special you got to witness some of the filming...what an honor!

Thanks a lot Chris. You made my day! When I was young, this was my favorite movie. I was ready to accept the experiment and operation to become a robocop. Because I was born unable to walk. But it was a childhood dream.
It's actually a rather ingenious design for the legs. I mean, there's only so much authenticity you need, versus functionality and prep and having an entire prop and makeup team helping you into and out of a giant wearable cage. It looks awesome, it SOUNDS awesome (from the other video), and this process video is amazing to watch and see all the hidden stuff that makes the suit work for extended wear time.

Hey Kevin that's amazing. I really appreciate you watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's never too late and 3D printers are very affordable these days. You can learn how to 3D print and build your own helmet, suit and gun. Tons of resources here on UA-cam to help you make your dreams come true.
