    What is Statutory Compliance?
    The word Statutory means “of or related to statutes”- rules and regulations. Compliance means adherence. Thus, Statutory Compliance means adhering to rules and regulations.
    Statutory: Related to Rules and Regulations
    Compliance: Commitment
    Statutory Compliance in HR refers to the legal framework that an organization should adhere to in dealing with its employees.
    Importance of Statutory Compliance:
    Every country has its own set of state and central labour laws that companies need to comply with. Dealing with statutory compliance requires companies to be updated on all the labour regulations in their country. It is also mandatory for companies to adhere to them.
    Non-compliance with these regulations can cause a company a lot of legal trouble such as penalties and fines. That is why every company invests a huge amount of money, effort and time to meet compliance requirements from professional tax to minimum wages act. To help in this, the company seeks expert advice from labour law and taxation law experts.
    In order to manage with demanding regulatory environment, every company should be well versed and take notice of all regulations in the labour laws. They need to formulate efficient ways to maintain compliance and minimize risks.

      Dear Pandey,
      Your question is not clear. There are 9 Labour Laws like EPF, ESIC, Trade Union etc. Which labour law you are asking for? For Shops & Establishment Certificate, you need to visit the Labour Department in your city for the specific state. And coming to EPF and ESIC.     Hi Sir, I have one question. Can we work in 2 IT MNC'S at a time. Can we get caught as it's work from home anyways. Is it possible ? Can HR find out that we have dual employment because we are just earning money and most important thing we are finishing work on both jobs. Can we do this ?

      Dear Asad,
      As per company rules, it is illegal to work in 2 companies that too in MNCs. There are chances of getting caught and if you get caught, then result will be very horrible. You even may loose job and there could be even a negative remark i.e., you will be blacklisted i.e., you will never be hired in that specific company.
      Many people can do many things but, as per rule an should not work for 2 companies at a time. Which will be mentioned in the offer/appointment letter issued by the company at the time of joining.
      So, my suggestion is that better you work with one company only....

    I have queries regarding commitments of 2500 Rs per months for accommodation but ye 2500 dena band kar diye hai or mere paas sab kuch written me hai to Kiya me legal action le Sakta Hu agar le sakta hoo to kis par karu case account dept par yaa project manager par because ye log culprits hai mujhe 6 month's se mil rha tha Naya project manager ke aate hi mera band karwa diya mene sab bola ki mere or HR se pre- joining baat huyi thi 2500 ke liye but koi nahi sun raha mujhe kya resign de kar case karna chahiye or kuch or pls suggest me sir /madam

      Sorry for the late response.
      I understand your problem. You can do one thing, drop an email to the higher management mentioning all the issue and explain them in detail, what they have committed at the time of joining.
      Agar tum ko case karna hai, phir tumko pehle job chodna padega then you need to file a case. But lekin future mai BGV mai problem ho saktha hai.
      But what I feel is that, for the sake of 2,500/-, no need to file a case. Just work till you are comfortable with the company and then look for new join and resign and quit the company.
