Unfortunately, the biggest fix the Lightning needs is a something Ford can't fix anytime soon. And that's their dealers.
Dave with the "Up in smoke" reference 🤣
I am enjoying the irony of this podcast as I listen while towing my camper 400 miles today with my R1T Max Pack.
Dave is such a goofball I love him so much, great energy to have in the team no matter the video

I hate charging that closing flap. I say that with love.
Cool interesting point from Dave about the charging flap . A auto shut feature would be very useful.
A Flash with Max Tow Package is about ~$75k with cloth seats. But you can get nice fitting aftermarket leather seat covers for under $1k. Otherwise you’d upgrade about $5k-$8k to get leather.
There were tons of F150s stacking up recently, not just the Lightning. Not sure why, though.
Shocked, you guys did not mention the biggest change the addition of a heat pump
Will some of these updates be uploaded into older fleet Lightnings?
please fix typo on header page. thanks! It's LIGHTning :)
I drive a short range lariat lightning at work and it is a great truck. I would buy a long range if I was in the market for a new truck right now.
What type of battery are they using in 2024 Flash Trim? Is it lithium ion or LFP?
Nice to see Ford’s new updates. Anybody see one used by a garden maintenance company? It’d be ideal for a fully battery-powered system that environmentally conscious home or business owners would pay a premium for. I also recall Zac and Jesse at NYK reported that gas-powered lawn equipment will have to go green in a few years..maybe in California 🤔 Lotsa love to all ❤❤❤
I’m not a person who needs a pickup truck but if I did, without question I would get the F150 Flash version. Even w/o the tax credit it is much cheaper than the Cybertruck whose current available editions start at $80k and do not have the features that the Ford offers. From what I’ve seen of the F150 road tests, it rides much better and has more visibility than the CT had and most importantly has the instrument panel where it should be..in front of the driver instead of off to the side like the CT. Give Ford and yes, GM another year or so and they will be providing much more competition for Elon and Co.
When I try to Supercharge my 2023 Lightning via Plug-and-Charge and my A2Z adapter, I always seem to always get a "charge station fault" in the truck. But when I activate the same charger via Tesla's app, it works fine. And afterwards, that charging session is displayed in FordPass under the Charge Logs. Why won't Plug-And-Charge (which of course I've activated) just work?!?
I could buy if range was high 350 highway winter range
Dave and Max!
