That's a pretty awesome game, seeing them actually get to a macro game after a crazy rush like that with no serious errors on either side, these bots are definitely getting better:)
My guess is, the A.I. constantly checks every unit and if an SCV falls to 10 hp or less, it's told to retreat and a Command Center that has room is considered a retreat point. Mind you, it gets way more complicated when factoring how units are treated as both an individual and as part of a group.

invisible units are completely visible to bots, except that they can't be attacked. there are some exceptions I think like finished creep tumors
Bots are not confused by the graphical transparency effect applied to invisible units. Will be fun to see vision based bots someday.
