Great video! I've got about 6 of my decks put together, with 3 more to build. A few other things to remember that I would add:
1. Know your deck. There are some great, fun, and/or janky decks that have 100 triggers on your turn. Make sure you know the deck well and aren't spending 10 minutes on your turn trying to remember everything your deck can do or have to keep asking to rollback. If you have one of those decks, be sure to play it a lot before the event so you have everything down as much as possible.
2. Remember the goal of the game. Last year, our table had a bit of NPE with one of the players because they were more focused on getting their deck setup for some crazy combos than progressing the game. So for 90% of the time, they weren't really contributing much (damage or thwarting) and would occasionally put us in bad positions (like flipping to AE when the threat was really high), and it got annoying for the other three players after a while. By all means, bring those decks, but just be sure the table knows what to expect and don't be 100% focused on your deck to the hinderance of your teammates.
3. We're a friendly community. Even beyond asking to join a game, some people (like myself) are close enough to Minnesota to drive instead of flying. The weather is crappy or you don't want to walk with all your game stuff over to GZ? See if someone is driving there and ask if you can get a ride. Forgot something and need to run to a Target or grocery store? Ask. I would highly suggest getting on one of the big Marvel Champions Discord servers...the CoH channels in there are great places to try to find a game, get a ride, or just find out what others are doing. Last year I started chatting with someone I didn't know on a channel and we ended up playing together all weekend and we drove together back and forth from GZ and an errand over to Target.

Oh thank you so much! Yeah it’s rare for me so it’s always fascinating to me how different the game really is between solo and multiplayer. Or even just true solo and two-handed. Pretty crazy how good of a job they’ve done adapting it to all player counts

These tips were great! I had an excellent time at Con of Heroes and found that my decks worked well with the suggestions you gentlemen provided! I'd highly recommend Con of Heroes to anyone considering attending a multi-player event. Great support and community all around!

I haven't tried it yet, but some players there mentioned TTS. Is that a possibility for you?
@@njh113 yep! I’ve played it a few times and it works nicely for remote play. Time is always the biggest obstacle but I could definitely make it happen! I recommend getting Hitch’s mod if you decide to get it. There are different versions of Champions on there and that’s the one I use 👍

Maybe a stupid question but what is con of heroes?
Oh sorry! I guess we never actually said what it was 🤦♂️. It’s a convention at the former FFG headquarters in Minnesota in May for Marvel Champions. It’s fan driven and organized by Kennedy Hawk of the MCM Podcast and the gentleman who runs Hallofheroes.com and maybe some others that are slipping my mind. Last year was the first one. We had about 100
people playing Champions all weekend, and they also have cool events and a custom campaign. It was really awesome!
