Played on it 1k hours competitive already and it never failed me. The biggest plus is it has on board memory with all keys reprogramming access x4 profiles(works on linux just fine). Has polling rate 125-1000hz adjustment in the software which then stores it into on-board memory. Also, the pass-through usb port allows you to connect to your pc with one long cable, if you wish to put your pc away from the desk. But the G keys could be a bit closer and higher for my taste though. I'm going to purchase the brown keys version soon.
@Gun_Samurai so kind of true, some console games are now supporting mouse and keyboard out of the box (fort nite for instance, Warzone) for those games you can just plug them straight into the console. for other games say black ops 3 a XIM works great.

Really anoying as that was a selling point for me. Can you confirm that your wired version does still allow ANY key programing with the latest software version? Haha :-D So I got a K618 to go with it. :-) Conclution, Wired version can remap any key, wireless version does not have that feature. Just change your layers on your PC before each game but you could also map a command to do this without the cable as all K585 key operations would go through this software first allowing you to use your new layout with each game? I had a quick question I run a MacBook Air and was going to pick this up. But to plug it in can I flip flop the usb c and usb type a, as MacBook Air only has usb c pluggables on it. As plug the type A into the keyboard and plug usb C into my MacBook? Or is the type a usb only input not output?
They'd need full keyboard/mouse support. I think there may be programs that let you map controllers/keyboard for mobile games that don't support them, but I've never tried it.

If you need something compact, this will work well. But really any keyboard will work for keyboard/mouse supported games, So if you want a full size or cheaper, or full size, pretty much any usb option on amazon will work.

sorry, I've never tried the vulcan converter, I'd say try contacting red dragon support, But this device should still work fine on games that have native keyboard/mouse support.

Depends on the game, It onlu acts as a keyboard, not a controller, so out of the box it would only support keyboard and mouse games, such as COD, warframe, and fortnite.
BOBdotEXE did you notice a lag? I got one that I’m returning because it seems like it tricks the console into thinking you’re playing with a controller for games like rainbow six seige, that being said there’s a lag if you move the mouse slowly for precision shots. I might return it and get this instead if there isn’t a lag for Warzone

im not looking for a review im looking for a reason why my keyboard wont work with the ps4. great job telling us to plug it in and play but you forgot to mention that it doesnt work if you just plug it in and try to play with it. you have to continue using a controller as well. and it doesnt work with any game but like 10 of them. i kept trying to play Black Ops 4 with it and it wouldnt respond to the keyboard or mouse input at all. this keyboard was a waste of my money seeing as it doesnt work well with most PC game either. plus the mechanical keys are ridiculously loud. i dont wanna continuously hear CLACK CLACK CLACK anytime i wanna change direction or type something which brings me to my next point. why doesnt the ps4 support key bindings for keyboards? it would help with actually using a mouse and keyboard to navigate the ps4 without having to use the controller which lets face it you might as well just use the controller at that point am i right?
This device is a keyboard, at no point in the video do I mention that can emulate a ps4 controller. Yes, most games only support controller, this has been how game consoles have been for decades, if you're looking to use a keyboard on your console, you will always need to first check to make sure your game supports it. But it seems like some others may have been confused about ps4 game support as well,so I've added a second, more noticeable note to the video description As for remark about the loud keys, they offer some quieter brown switches, but if you want very quiet gameplay you may want to consider not using a mechanical keyboard, as their loudness is pretty well documented. I still feel this is a good product, but it sounds like a mechanical gaming keyboard may actually not what you're looking for based on your post. I'd recommend looking into getting a good quality membrane keyboard along with a keyboard adaptor for you ps4, This will give you much quiter typing, good quality, and much better support for a wider variety of ps4 games. Hope this helps!
You can easily set up a macro for 'alt' + 'tab' That will let you switch between windows, but unfortunately, there no option to switch to a specific window.
@@bobdotexe I "easily set up the macro alt-tab", but it didn't work...it ended up flashing between all the other screens that were also open, which limits how many browsers or games you have open...I returned it...horrible design too.
The main purpose is the compact size, But it also offers various features such as full remapping, and adjustable lighting options, software-free macros/binding, etc Most full-size keyboards for the same price range may have a few of these features, but not all.

you could try contacting support, the wireless version may need different software.
My original keypad still lets me rebind the keys.

All the 'standard' keys can be remapped, (as I showed in this video)
