Bam! Take that Linus - the ultimate clean build. That floating monitor panel was such a cool touch - would you need a higher power short-throw projector to get it to work in normal room lighting?
I'd say it's one of the most aesthetic, but unusable. 1. Visible mouse latency (constantly running video processing and AI). 2. No keyboard feedback or travel. 3. Laptop level thermals (probably worse, since the heat will be trapped).
Yea I want a closer look at how well it all works too. Like how well can you actually see that screen? Also how much latency is there with that mouse? Don't get me wrong, its amazing id just like a closer look as well.
Literally got goosebumps as you explained how the invisible monitor worked. It's such a clever solution to what at first appears to be an impossible challenge. Very cool.
Touchpad seems like the obvious answer to me too. Especially if anyone ever decided to mass produce something like this, I think a touchpad would be far more viable.
OMG THIS MAN THINKIN OUTSIDE THE BUN!!! I rarely like videos on youtube, but it I could like this a million times, I would. The amount of work that must’ve gone into this setup is absolutely insane. You’ve made something that most would consider is the future, and a distant one that is. ”Good job” doesn’t even begin to cover it, but good freaking job man!
I love how your videos have evolved over time, they were a little too chaotic for me at first (still enjoyed them) but now they are small pieces of art. The effort you put into them doesn't go unnoticed!
The latency on that mouse insane lmao but as a concept this setup is stunning. It's something straight out of science fiction. Also, I would die for that "monitor" for a non-gaming setup.
Yeah picture quality leaves much to be desired. And I still don’t really understand the keyboard so maybe hard to use. A lot of compromises but holy shit the mad lad did it
This is the only channel nowadays that gets a good laugh outta me still, meaning I am allowed to laugh around 3-4 times a year. And I’m grateful for every time
This is incredible, like...I have to watch this a couple times to absorb the full message at the end because I'm still in awe regarding what you just did. This is literally stuff out of sci-fi novels and now a reality! Astonishing!
Potential improvements to the mouse: Support the fist grip (instead of “air mouse grip”) and allow fine movements when the index finger is raised moving, also there can be 5+ customizable “mouse buttons” for each finger
Or maybe use wearable controllers. I believe there are some cool things available, like a ring and a glove thing. Although these won't be invisible per se. The ring would be still small enough to be counted off😅
I like how he went through all that trouble of coding the camera to be his mouse when he could have just gone the easy way and order a custom made big trackpad and paint it the color of the desk. He's truly a DIY god :D
I almost thought he would use an embedded trackpad for the mouse, but he actually took advantage of computer vision to make the movement of the fingers clicking look as if he is using a real mouse, kudos for that man
this is genuinely one of the best youtube videos i’ve ever seen. the whole time i was thinking he was just going to use those cheap hologram keyboards but oh my god. i had dinner while watching this and it felt like an actual movie.
Ive been watching you for a while. I remember you made that video where you said you wanted to make better content, you wanted to do more. This, this is it. Out of everything youve done since then, this is one of the most amazing things ive seen someone do. You pushed limits people weren't event thinking of. congratulations man
you could put a trackball in the desk that sticks out just enough to be used, as an alternative to the 0g omegalight mouse, to get the tactile feedback much like the keyboard
I never though computers with floating invisible screens would actually exist but here we are… that’s really cool! I feel like holding up your fingers without something to rest them on would be terribly uncomfortable after a while though, but that also might make you want to stop using it for so long which would be nice.
It’s cause it’s not sensationalised, not the clickbait “This setup will bankrupt Apple and Microsoft” - he just presents himself as a regular guy doing cool stuff and enjoying it
At this point I think Mr. Homals needs to make a sort of museum room of all his creations. Every creative build you do is genuinely incredible and blows my mind. From the humble beginnings of trying every work around and screen filters to get Jaeger acog back in Rainbow Six Siege, to playing Siege on a Wiimote now to making an invisible PC
@@bennettcox1857 I say let him hate watch, gives Mr. Homeless that extra view I’m sure he doesn’t care about the weirdos compared to the admiration he gets lol

i don't understand why he didn't use a huge multipoint trackpad and "write" software to recognise his palm from his fingers to accurately track his hand when its touching the desk, it would be basically identical

The old "can we just appreciate.." comment (but spelled wrong). Jesus....enough of this lame comment formula! Its just embarrassing!
@@avidadolares woah, someone is triggered over pixels on a screen.
@@OGXStorm no no, he got a point though.
This looks like something out of a Sci-fi film. I'm not sure if I've been this impressed by a pc build before, all I can really think to say is congratulations, this is an amazing piece of work!
This literally IS the future of gaming.
You better patent this technology ASAP!So many people would love this sci-go setup at home. It’s only missing a dual monitor setup.
It looks really cool but if we're being realistic, the mouse and keyboard must feel terrible and there's basically no black on his transparent screen, which must be terrible looking.
After some years though, if some engineers team up it could actually be ultra cool.
@@Aerosklicethe only thing bad is the mouse, if he found a better way to do that it'd be perfect
@@witha1nah that keyboard probably feels terrible to use and the screen looks like shit.
Fun engineering challenge and a cool video but completely impractical
@@ieuanhunt552 ye now that i think about it might require a bit too much effort to press, but i don't see any problems with the screen
@@witha1 The screen is also tilted at a weird angle to get a good projection from the reflector and the image is terrible. If you had to read a spreadsheet on that screen you would be blind in 5 minutes. But I think there is a real market for something scaled back a bit. Its these types of projects that really push the margins of peoples imaginations and what manufacturers are willing to build.

Bam! Take that Linus - the ultimate clean build. That floating monitor panel was such a cool touch - would you need a higher power short-throw projector to get it to work in normal room lighting?
Wow this is amazing. You’ve completely blown my mind.

love it man thats like the best gaming setup i have ever seen dont let any one take you down keep it up!
I'd say it's one of the most aesthetic, but unusable.
1. Visible mouse latency (constantly running video processing and AI).
2. No keyboard feedback or travel.
3. Laptop level thermals (probably worse, since the heat will be trapped).
imagine also having invisible table and chair that will be the cleanest pc set up

That is simply amazing. Can we get an extended demonstration of it working? I'd love to see you play around with this build for 10 or so minutes
Yea I want a closer look at how well it all works too. Like how well can you actually see that screen? Also how much latency is there with that mouse? Don't get me wrong, its amazing id just like a closer look as well.
Maaan ... This is the cleanest set up on the world !!!!! This is fucking amazing !! A god damn floating screen!!!!!
Literally got goosebumps as you explained how the invisible monitor worked. It's such a clever solution to what at first appears to be an impossible challenge. Very cool.
Amazing. If the invisible mouse is hard to get used to, you could also install a touchpad inside your table
That’s the one thing I was thinking!! I’m a track pad person but training the sensors for that would be the only change I’d want
Touchpad seems like the obvious answer to me too. Especially if anyone ever decided to mass produce something like this, I think a touchpad would be far more viable.

PS, had to edit because i just finished the video.. That last part from 11:02 - 12:08 literally shed a tear. Great video bro
Exactly like the thumbnail, like always!
That’s what computers will look like in the next 20 years
The latency on that mouse insane lmao but as a concept this setup is stunning. It's something straight out of science fiction. Also, I would die for that "monitor" for a non-gaming setup.
Yeah picture quality leaves much to be desired. And I still don’t really understand the keyboard so maybe hard to use. A lot of compromises but holy shit the mad lad did it
I was wondering if he could embed a touchpad into the desk and paint it white
You truly need a one of a kind brain to come up with stuff like this man mad props
This is the only channel nowadays that gets a good laugh outta me still, meaning I am allowed to laugh around 3-4 times a year. And I’m grateful for every time

This is literally stuff out of sci-fi novels and now a reality!
Astonishing!
What he said actually paralleled all of philosophical thought
Potential improvements to the mouse: Support the fist grip (instead of “air mouse grip”) and allow fine movements when the index finger is raised moving, also there can be 5+ customizable “mouse buttons” for each finger
so if i accidentally tap my fingers out of habit, the code will detect that i click on something?
Or maybe use wearable controllers. I believe there are some cool things available, like a ring and a glove thing. Although these won't be invisible per se. The ring would be still small enough to be counted off😅
This was absolutely mind blowing. had me questioning how you were going to make the monitor invisible, excellent work.
2:40 I absolutely love that influence of Wade of DankPods is spreading
Okay this is officially THE cleanest setup in the world.
12:02 like 7 big macs and 200 mcnuggets

This has been, by FAR, the most entertaining thing I have seen in a while! Well done, sir 👏
And by far the largest nostrils I have seen in probably ever
you could put a trackball in the desk that sticks out just enough to be used, as an alternative to the 0g omegalight mouse, to get the tactile feedback much like the keyboard
This video needs to be like 3 times longer. It's hard to believe any of this was actually done. What a mad project!

I never though computers with floating invisible screens would actually exist but here we are… that’s really cool! From the humble beginnings of trying every work around and screen filters to get Jaeger acog back in Rainbow Six Siege, to playing Siege on a Wiimote now to making an invisible PC

yeah, with a faster hardware for the AI i think
I mean it’s possible that improved coding may help it, but how much depends on how good his coding is… So maybe a ton or maybe not much at all. Future hardware improvements might also be key
