No, I don't think so. It's just a bit to contrived for me. He's clearly shot at by someone who refuses to believe he's innocent. Personally I think that person is either Johan, the super tall dude, or very lightly Theo.

Very very great review man. I love this movie so much. Although its not a horror movie, The Hunt is far scarier than most horror movies I've ever seen. And this kind of situation could be happen in real life
I can’t overstate how important victims opening up is, however with current tendency to believe the victim on their word alone scares the hell out of me, the fact you could end on bad terms with a toxic ex and they could try to essentially ruin your life with you having little more than you word to defend you is honestly gut wrenching. Or the fact I could see this story playing out so easily also a life ruined by a wild imagination and jealousy.
I think the ending is all his imagination. He is clearly paranoid of those around him. He realizes that everyone turned on him. So now after a year he is paranoid. He always felt “being hunted” even in the last scene. Being hunted on something that isn’t there or true. Idk maybe I’m just overthinking
It's just another way of saying that he has to move somewhere else if he wants to live the rest of his life peacefully. Wouldn't you? After everything that has happened? That's just the most logical thing to do. Move and begin a new life.
@@randyschiffer3265 Yes that's true, but the people who misjudged you and aggravated you won't be. You can restart your life in a far away place without those people. He should of brought up klaras strange behavior in the beginning when she kissed Lucas on the lips and the heart that would saved so much heartache for Lucas
The problem was he never got to defend himself before people already had judged him. He didnt even in the beginning knew it was Klara after a while, then it was too late for him to start defending himself. Although I can see your point, it is easy for us viewers to say he should have done this or that.
But the adults are the ones to blame by the way they handle the situation. Klara was traumatized in her home when his brother and friends showed her inappropriate content. And she projected it on Lucas after feeling rejected. She does not comprehend the consequences of her actions, although we see it throughout the movie. The adults however dont even know how to handle the situation, and choose a fast and easy way, even if it means to destroy someone's life.
I watched the film and wanted to hate the other adults and Klara, but after some consideration, you simply can't. The adults are just trying to protect their children, and Klara is just naive and unaware of the consequences.
I have no negative feelings against Klara - she's just a child and obviously doesn't understand anything. I like how Lucas was nice to her in the end despite everything. However, the villagers did wrong - they didn't even seem to consider the possibility that Lucas might be innocent even though the courts found him not guilty right away and the case against him was weak to begin with. They should have at least accepted the fact that they don't know whether he's guilty or not guilty at the end of the day. At that point Lucas was no longer even working in the kindergarten. The villagers didn't "try to protect their children" - they had just found a target for their irrationally fearful hatred and they let it boil over. Fortunately there were some individuals who stood by Lucas. In my view this film reminds us that we ought to consider the facts in contradictory situations like this, one of the facts being that we simply don't know everything. Another lesson is that we have to control our emotions. If we just conclude "well, the villagers just tried to protect their children I guess..", these important lessons get lost.
