ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Btw the staff mordo comes with is the Staff of the Living Tribunal. The wand of watoomb in the mcu looks like the comic version and was seen in the first Dr strange movie being held by Wong
D'syre and sleep walker are actually pretty awsome

I'm pumped for the movie. It's set to do unprecedented things only ever seen in the comics.
The figs are great, I'm just so tired of Stange figs as we have so many & unlike say Spider-Man or Ironman, strange isn't that different from fig to fig.
He's not someone that has different enough costumes to desire more. If it was not for the BAF I would never buy another Strange fig until they came out with a vastly different costume.

When you compare the two new doctor strange figures, it’s so obvious that the No way home figure is far superior. I saw both of them at my local Walmart and there’s such a difference in quality. I had a chance to pick up this one a few months ago but I held off in case the no way home one came around. Lucky for me, it did and I now have it. If you want a mcu doctor strange, I highly recommend the No Way Home figure. It’s great quality and the head sculpt is spot on *chef’s kiss*

I’ve never made any of the build a figures for two reasons
1. I rarely like the characters
2. I rarely like all the characters in the line
I just use all my BAF scraps to build a new fig 😉👍
I loved the new Doctor Strange but I have yo admit that I customized it a little bit and it improved.
The only one I got from this wave so far is America Chavez. I know this character is very divisive for comic fans, but I'm a fan of her and have been waiting for a long time to see her in Legends form. Really looking forward to seeing Chavez in the film, and her portal powers could be used really well onscreen. Rintrah looks great! I always liked the character back in the late 80s and never thought we'd see him in the MCU. Awesome to see Wong too. Great figure for a great character.

Sorry to confuse/annoy you to the point of using 2 emojis as a response to a post I made a year ago and forgot about.

When this wave was announced, the only one I wanted was Sleepwalker. I saw it in the store and bought the Three Jokers Batman figure.
I only got D’spayre and sleepwalker.

The staff that comes with Mordo is the Staff of the Living Tribunal that he uses to train Strange in the first movie. Considering the LT is one of the most powerful cosmic beings in the 616, I want a little more history about that item in the MCU.
I also just read the 616 "Ultimates" comic which had America Chavez as a team member and it cleared up some things about her comic character and made me like her character a bit more. It unfortunately gets a bit lazy towards the end (likely because sales weren't great and they saw the writing on the wall) but overall I enjoyed it (lots of large cosmic level action). Also great to read in anticipation of ML's Blue Marvel release!

Shartimus ma man, reason the No Way Home Strange has a bunch of cuts at the back of the tunic is because that’s a part of the official design. It’s either insane accuracy or good articulation. And honestly I feel like this is a good mix between both. If a person wants insane accuracy, they should just buy a statue of the character. Also, I’m sure you’re more familiar with this but heat up the Cloak of levitation. I’m seeing a bunch of reviewers have the same warped cape where the part that goes onto Stranges collar bone are kinda warped outward and so it sits weird on him. And yeah maybe a pin would’ve good.
So are you saying people can't strive for insane accuracy with THE 1/12 scale marvel line and SHOULD just get a statue, ya know somethin several times the cost with none of the articulation, because it'll be closer to 1:1?
I can't think of a single MCU movie figure that came out side by side with the movie that was 1:1, it ain't gonna happen, but additionally, a VALID complaint about that, is much more understandable than getting a different scaled statue that costs a LOT more, for it to not line up with other figure, not pose at all or very little, have little in the ways of play value.
I think defaulting to "Just get a statue" is a drastic extreme solution, ESPCIALLY if you collect legends..

Having the expectation of statues releasing at the 1/12th scale in time for the movie is the same amount of hopeless expectation when you think Hasbro is gonna release a Marvel Legends figure with both great articulation and great attention to detail. Especially when it comes to heavily clothed characters. Other toy companies, sure, may try to pull it off. But specifically Marvel Legends, I don’t think so. That’s the reason why I mostly just accept that this is a pretty ok figure. Already looking at some promo pictures for the movie, I can tell the emblem on the tunic is off a bit. But hey, it’s the way it is. Hasbro has been making adjustments and albeit slow it’s something.
@@notPalores the problem is they work from concept art, which has to be done to make the deadline. MY argument wasn't that it should be different, but that suggesting a statue in place of a 6in figure was stupid of you
@@SteampunkCreeper: not really seeing how it’s so incredibly out of the realm of possibility regarding just waiting and saving up for one of those statues if all you care about is 1:1 accuracy. That was my original point. Besides, if you’re that impatient, then just get the figure and whine about it. Cause that’s about all you can do. There’s always those $60 S.H. Figuarts you can get later on as well which on some occasions is a better looking figure when compared to Marvel Legends.
I popped Wong's torso off and removed the underskirt and it looked fine with just the armour type price and lets the legs move so much better
All I wanted was D'sparye, Sleepwalker, and America Chavez, would have gotten the BAF if I could have gotten it at DSTs

What is your habit now for collecting toys and non important stuff, still buying expensive store bought coffee, toys and other non important things?
I know and heard of some but curious and wondering on a bigger scale.

Nice job dude...Legends can be so hit or miss lately.
I know there are a lot of complaints with these figures especially doctor strange. To me it’s just the cape since they reused the what if spidey cape instead of the regular cape from the past strange figures with the peg that fits into his back so it stays. But I feel like later on they’ll fix it since in footage we see a blue patch on the back of his cape in the movie and hope they bring back the cape we always see with the peg from the past strange figures and the NHW strange and just make it darker a little bit
Mordos legs are from star lord like completely just repainted
The multiverse of madness strange figure is so much better than the infinity war one. That one looks like some random Sam. Also the costume from multiverse of madness is so much better looking than the old one

Hello, I bought the Doctor Strange astral form but I notice that the left boot (looking at it from the front) is somewhat looser, and the other boot came firm. I don't know if it's a factory thing or mine came loose like that. Did yours come the same? Saludos de Perú!!! 💪
I'm not familiar with Sleepwalker, but the way you describe him, maybe Wild Child's body mold would have been better? I got him yesterday and he is very lanky.

For America Chavez reading material. I would recommend Young Avengers by Kieron Gillen & Jamie McKelvie. It has her backstory and it was the series that made me like the character. Also it is a great read.

Something that made me mad about the doctor strange figure is the cape isn’t connected or like secure in any sort of way, it makes posing him a pain. Really wish they made little peg holes or something is the back for the cape to click on an off.
I hope that Rintrah paves the way for a Dario Agger figure soon.

As somebody who has both the NWH & MVOM Strange. No Way Home takes the cake easily. It's the infinity saga strange. I took the hand off of Strange Supreme to have the time stone effect & works PERFECTLY for the saga wave. This one. Eh.

14:16 the eyes look too far apart, not really sure they needed to make this one as we only just had it in the no way home wave, i get its for his film but theres little to no real difference and i think the previous one is better

I don’t know if I want to get the America Chavez figure. I don’t collect movie figures, and never read any of her comics. But the figure looks good. And I really wish the Rintrah didn’t come with any clothes just like the images of him in the comic. Again, another figure I don’t know but looks great.

We should’ve gotten a multiverse of madness scarlet witch to be a part of this wave instead of the astral form Doctor strange mainly because she’s going to be in the movie. We still need the ancient one figure along with a kaecillius figure. This wave isn’t really that great as well as the build a figure. You forgot to include Shang chi and Katy figures when you had to put Wong. You even forgot to do a size comparison of this wave next to the fox films figures, Spider-Man figures and what if figures because it’s speculated that some or all of them are going to be in the movie.

It's weird. I love the movie, but for the first time in my life I am not thrilled with a comic-accurate-like costume and that is of Doctor Strange. The figure having the eye molded in turned me off completely from buying the figure.
