Doctor Strange - star of the recent MCU movie Multiverse of Madness has a long and amazing action figure history on the toy aisles. From his start on the Spider-Man cartoon in the 1990's to more recent action figures by Hasbro, Mezco, Marvel Select and more, Dr. Strange has been a mainstay in the Marvel Universe and on toy shelves. Created by Steve Ditko with Stan Lee, Strange has gone through twists and turns in his comic history including acclaimed stories by Brian K Vaughn and Jason Aaron. I'm so glad I saw the movie because it was awesome and seeing Doctor Strange, Wanda, America Chavez was great to enjoy and even though I don't have the new classic Marvel Legends Doctor Strange, I will get him because he will go great against The Dread Dormammu.
That mezco classic dr strange looks like it could be an actor like he looks like he came from a movie
LOL same with all Mezco Marvel figures.

if I had to pick one, I would say he looks like Vincent Price
I love the paint apps on most of these figures - they're really well done. Also glad you included "The Oath" among the top stories revolving around Strange - it's one of my all-time favorite comics PERIOD! "Weird of the World" sounds like a worthwhile storyline to read as well.
I couldn't afford it at the time, but if the aftermarket prices don't kill me, I really want to get my hands on that Walmart exclusive Doctor Strange release when I can!
You should 100% grab the Wal Mart Strange - I can’t imagine we will get another classic anytime soon! Plus the online Marvel Unlimited is totally worth it for catching up on old storylines!

Ok so if you’re into mix and matching things I feel the toy biz Strange body with the Dormanmu wave Strange cloak would look really good together

I'm often stunned in amazement that so many of these figures find themselves in a box and not on display. But then I remind myself what your action figure display room looks like and it kind of dawns on me as to why they live in a box. But come on man! That Mezco cloth caped version and the one with the stained glass display stand?! How are they not being displayed? Those are sensational Dr. Strange figures. I have the newest Dr. Strange Astral on display and it doesn't hold a candle to yours. I'm just really jealous, sorry 😔
Actually, the Mezco Strange was on display until the new Wal-Mart version came out. I do try to rotate things, however!

Just got the rubber cape doctor strange and I’m having a lot of fun with it. I also made a cloth wired cape that helps with posing him

Why the first doctor said you pick up and the mystery box why is right have a Spider-Man weapon hand that doesn't make any sense
sometimes they do that to save money and not have to sculpt a completely new part. But since they are both Ditko creations - it works for me
