Hey Davis would a kneeling lat pulldown be more effective for activation of the lats vs the standard lat pulldown? I remember reading in some EMF studies that kneeling lat pulldown better activate the lats vs standard as the standard was more bicep focus just wondering your thoughts thanks :)

Thx 4 all these tips & tricks.
I use them daily in my full body workouts. And use each of your exercises 1 day at a time (5 back exercises over 5 days + s the other body parts aswell.

What i love most about your content is that you try to visualize the motion as clearly as possible, which helps a lot on truly working the muscle.
Yea that dumbbell row description is on point
It also helps that you can clearly see each muscle that he is engaging 😂 holy shit

It worked, I’m weak on pull-ups 😞 have to use 45 - 55 lbs by the time I get to this point in my workout
@@RedHaloManiac95 that’s okay. Everyone has to start somewhere. Strength is not determined by how much a person can lift but by how hard they work to improve themselves

@@Bitcoin_Gold looks natural to me if he has been lifting for years
@@Bitcoin_Gold
My guess would be that he’s probably on roids and a lot of other stuff.
I’m literally like the only nice body I see that is not on roids. I don’t even take creatine.

Interesting choice of bars for the pull downs I’ll have to try. Seems like a lot of bicep tho. Also assisted pull-ups to end my session is a new one thank you!
Just make sure you pull with the elbows, then you won't feel bicep/forearms as much. Also use straps.
@Quim Rodellas not what EMG data shows, tho it does depend from person to person.
Just do pull-ups to deep muscle failure on a low bar at a playground. Assist with your legs. Don't need any of the bullshit in this video.
@@aliendroneservices6621 I bet you’re no where near this guys size and strength. Keep playing with you drones and legos.
I’d rather start with pull ups

Based on the instrumentals he uses for some of his videos, I can tell he was a big fan of the G-Unit era of hip hop. Can't blame him because it was such a dope time.
Imagine pushing your back through your body....it just clicked!!!! thanks brother your a fitness God!!!!
I’d love to see a video on dips!
Yo this dude drinking that caprice sun
Getting that mind muscle connection of pulling your elbow back instead of closing you wrist on your shoulder is really helpful
How systematically he explains...huge respect brother!
I just wanna say that if you can program them, bentover barbell rows are the mvp. The only problem I can see with them (as well as getting solid form if you don't have experience with keeping a strong hip-hinge) is that they fatigue the lower back and posterior chain, which is a hell of an annoyance if you wanna program loads of back squats and/ or deadlifts in the week as well. I've not been able to deadlift heavy for a while so I've been doing them heaps, and they're easily my favourite exercise atm.
I agree. It's easily the best compound back exercise along with pull ups. Unfortunately I got a herniated disc at the moment and haven't done it for a while 😅
Great workouts. Can you cover what you typically eat in a day? Some nutrition advice would be cool.

I know I’m late to this vid but tip for anyone that struggles with pull ups TRAIN ABS you don’t need a six pack but the core strength helps so much. I’ve never been able to do a pull up in my life and i trained abs 2-3 days a week for 3 weeks and I jokingly went to do a pull up in front of my girl so she could watch me struggle and i about lost my mind when my chin went over the bar. I repped out 10 pull ups and dropped down so excited I honestly probably embarrassed her a bit but i have never been more proud of myself.
I will give this a go. Thanks for the advice.
What was your workout for abs?
@@AinnRubiix just saw this so sorry for the late reply. I did Russian twists, ab crunches, planks, mountain climbers, leg lifts and knee tucks. I chose 3-4 of them and changed them up as i would start to feel bored doing the same ones. My personal favorites are Russian twists, ab crunches (on the machine) and knee tucks. But whatever you have fun doing will work the best because the more fun you have the more likely you’ll stay consistent 🤙🏼 you got this
From 0 to 10 because of ab workouts? BS
@Ricky-yf1ru its not bs fam but you can think that if you want i have nothing to prove to you i only need to prove myself. Just give it a shot yourself. Work on your core for 2-3 days a week for 3 solid weeks, and im confident you will notice a huge improvement. Take care 🤙🏼

Athlenx covered that you shouldn’t do single arm dumbbell rows because they are prone to cause hernias 😳😳
Just don't over do it and you are safe.
@@renanterezan9922 lmao what's the point of doing an exercise when you know you can't reach failure on it? We ain't here to save up for the next exercise lol
Yup he's right. Just do a tripod row where u don't have to place a leg on the bench like that
@@ShayanKhan-cp6ns
My bad, I wasn't clear.
What I meant is that you can do this exercise sometimes, but you should avoid doing it too frequently.
Of course you are right, when you do any exercise, go full on and give it all you got.
@@ShayanKhan-cp6ns agreed on the tripod row. My back got bigger just 3 weeks after I switched it up.
All these hard excersises, bit when it comes to pull ups, the daddy of all lat excersises, he decides to to them assisted...
My thoughts exactly ... He could probably start with pull ups and then do the remaining with lesser weights ..
There assisted because most people can’t do wide grip pull-ups and hold at the top for many reps
@@dirtydaniel6107 well then those people should practice pull ups before doing any of these excersises. I never do any excersises in the gym but I do tons of pull ups(around 800 per week, even more on some other weeks), and my back looks quite wide and full, enough to satisfy most people. When I switch to the gym I will do them weighted so I can compete, and will throw in deadlifts and barbell rows just to hit those muscles not hit by pull ups.
Assisted because it’s the final part of the workout and you can only get volume doing them assisted
Do u think ppl give more importance to working out with weights rather than body weights..
demon back probably the first REAL one ive ever seen
Bro got that demon back at the end of the video
This should be titled: how to get a hernia doing Dumbell rows smh...
Almost felt the pain watching that xD
What wrong with the technique
The form looks good I don't understand your concern
that variation of the dumbbell row with the knee up on the bench can put too much pressure on the lower abdominal wall, which can cause a tear in that region. Safer to have both feet on the ground, straddled or staggered
@@epicdarr thanks for the info mate.
And then remember, for post workout go ahead and shoot 3cc’s of Tren Ace, and 3cc’s of test suspension.
To get this guy’s body, yeah. But doing these exercises will build muscles, regardless of what you take.
You can achieve this natural with and maybe a little bit of deer velvet extract or something lol
