@@heroicsquirrel3195 there's a reason for that. It just adds a mini game on top of everything to build strength that you should have from the beginning of the round. Not all people like it, for sure.
What is really good about Ken is he has very good carries. Heavy Tatsu could be a bit unreliable, but if it hits you well it can take you to the corner from half screen. His heavy DP also carries you quite a lot, and the corner pressure is good. A very well balanced character and very dangerous in the right hands, I'm hyped for the first full-roster tournament.

Only thing 3s had better is the fact that he had access to his crazy kicks on the fly. Overhead MK, poking kick, etc. But SF6 Ken more than makes up for it with all the extras. In the end the way you use his crazy kicks now are insane (as demonstrated here)... And lets not even get started on his specials and how diverse they are for so many different situations. Even his tatsu. You got small juggle into DP, you got longer carry tatsu, you got "anti-air" arguably OD Tatsu, and you got dash into fire tatsu that acts like the EX tatsu from 3s. He is on a whoooole new level. Definitely can't put 3s Ken in first spot anymore.
It amazes me how even at challenger, people still push buttons after plus frames lol Edit: Also its realy cool how obviously he has good combos but it's the mastery of the basics that really impress me.
SF6 is a Perfect combination of SF FUNDAMENTALS with a FLAIR of TURBO and ALPHA like Create your own Combo in a way. Its Still SF and it still keeps the Gane Entertaining. My opinion 🤷♂️🙏
My drive rushes aren’t consistent enough to pull off some of these. Idk what I’m doing wrong but it’s like they only come out when they want to. It definitely makes combo trails harder than they should be.
do you have an easier way to do those jinrai juggles at the wall? i feel like i have to do the extention at the very last second off heavy jinrai for it to juggle

And yes i know some top players were in there but 98% of them aren't competent right now in tbis new game. If Bird can sustain this, then we should give him his props. There's no chip on specials if the defender has drive gauge. You'll see that the drive gauge is depleted instead of the life gauge.
