Your ponds look great. Can wait to see the BIG one. I just built my retirement home on 5 acres of woods in East Texas with a half acre pond. This pond hasn’t been fished in probably 40 years. I’ve caught some two pound bass but I’ve got a lot of work to do. Trees all around it, some dead that need to be removed. I’m finding out ponds are a lot of work.
Glad for an update, wish there was a much less restrictive path to build your dream pond. The government should not have that much involvement with regulating your lands
That’s exactly what we have seen in the last 12 years under Dims, tyranny to control every aspect of the individuals wealth labor private property rights and most importantly the individuals liberty.
Ponds are looking great! Hopefully Lake Evers will happen soon! If DJT gets back in office your diesel prices should go back down! The handicap dock sounds cool!
I wish you luck with the big lake. What I really think is great is how you want to open them up for children to catch smallmouth and handicapped ramps! So generous of you!
Outstanding!!!! I have been watching you do this for a few years now. Pecans ponds and professional fishing. I know it’s a lot of hard work and you’re not afraid of work. Thank you for sharing.
Love the information Edwin, I dug a little over an acre pond two years ago, and I absolutely love it, I just put red ear, regular bluegill, put my forage base in first, and then put bass in two years after that my bass are growing very quick, it is a very fun and experience to manage, and do all that on your own, people don’t realize how much work and dedication it takes to do it right it is a lot of work, but I really enjoy doing the kids. Love it as well.
Edwin, I appreciate the update. I have been following your pond builds for a long time. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I really like how so much of what you want to do has always been to facilitate really exciting experiences for others.
Thank you for the updates. It’s awesome to have your dream ponds. It’s really cool to have just smallmouth, bluegill and all female bass. I am looking forward to seeing your lake being built. Good luck with all your future plans.
Loved the Pond Series when you were building the ponds and had been wondering about an update. Great to see and learn from what you are doing. Amazing work!
Everything looks great. I hope everything goes smoothly on getting these lakes completed. Also, thanks for all the fishing information you give so that novice fishermen can learn new ways and techniques.
Nice pond builds and sounds like you have gone above what most others do, and you have a clear set of goals moving forward. And to share with members of your community is just fantastic. Keep helping others and you will truly be blessed.
Happy we finally have an update! Wish I lived closer would absolutely love to help you build fences and plant trees and do anything else needed! Think you are doing it right man. Great job! Place looks like a dreamland! Praying for it all to work out!
Really awesome blessing to be able to have projects like these. Really cool ideas and I appreciate how you think about others along the way. I bet the lady from church will be excited about the opportunity to be there! So cool, man! Enjoyed the update
I love seeing these ponds updates. What a great collection of fishable water! I suspect the way those fish got into those ponds is the same way it happens in nature - fertilized fish eggs get transported from one body of water to another on the feet of birds that move between the ponds ...
Thanks for the update, Edwin! I enjoy your enthusiasm on fishing ponds, since that is how my grandfather taught me to fish and developed my love for the sport.
Edwin, I think you have done a wonderful job on your builds. Someday your dream will come true just don't give up on it. Don't worry about the haters do your thing. As Alway's it a pleasure to watch your video's keep them coming.
This is so funny i was just thinking i hadnt viewed any edwin vids for a while wonder how the ponds are coming along and here you are 😂 lot of work going on there. Sure to be worth it in the end. The pursuit of a dream. Inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
That bluegill pond is gonna be an absolute blast and treasure for the little ones! Nothing like hooking the kiddos on fishing. 😃 Keeping my fingers crossed for all of the ponds.
So cool. I’ll have a pond like this one day. Been dreaming about it since I was about 9 and I’m 32. Up until about age 13 I had a small brook in my backyard. Everytime we had a drought I’d go out there and dig it out to get it deeper. I also did my best to dam it up with rocks and sticks. I used to check it everyday to see if I ever trapped a fish in there lol. One day I’ll do it all again 😊
Very cool projects, can't wait too see how they progress. Being able to have such isolation of species and the control of feed/bait should allow for quick growth. Hope mother nature cooperates with some rain.
Man what an absolute beautiful place i love it i dream of having a place like that. Well mainly the ponds gotta have the ponds 😊. Awsome job and beautiful place.
Great update. Love your passion for creating a fishing experience for friends, family and those less fortunate. I do wonder if in the long run it will be impossible to keep ponds species specific.
Great (and educational) video. A lot of folks don’t understand even the simple parts of an ecosystem… such as putting in baitfish before stocking it with bass. I am curious how the gar got in that pond as well.
Pretty awesome, I’m curious how well the smallmouth will spawn for you. Hopefully not too much so you can keep competition down. I’m sure Steve will keep a close eye on it.
Hey Edwin. I was watching your pond upstairs video and you was wondering how you had carp and gar in your ponds without stocking them. I have noticed over several years some ponds in my area in Va ponds that should not have fish in them end up with carp and gar. If I’m not mistaken if you have geese and duck in your area the carp and gar eggs stick to their leg and feet when they get in ponds or lakes that have carp and gar. Then they travel to other bodies of water and take the eggs with them. Just my theory.

I just bought land with a 2 acre pond. I’m excited to get started. Thx for the update.
What a cool thing to have a bluegill pond for kids to enjoy 👍
Glad for an update, wish there was a much less restrictive path to build your dream pond. The government should not have that much involvement with regulating your lands
It isn’t a government issue. There are pipelines under there, people live below him. All sorts of things go in to it
That’s exactly what we have seen in the last 12 years under Dims, tyranny to control every aspect of the individuals wealth labor private property rights and most importantly the individuals liberty.
Tyranny to control every single aspect of the individuals life and livelihood. Especially today
Very ambitious project(s). Best of luck. Jealous here!
Just waiting on the invitation! Have lures, will travel!
Ponds are looking great! Hopefully Lake Evers will happen soon! If DJT gets back in office your diesel prices should go back down! The handicap dock sounds cool!
Glad to see an update! Love the shape on the ponds. Not just the usual hole or oval
I wish you luck with the big lake. What I really think is great is how you want to open them up for children to catch smallmouth and handicapped ramps! So generous of you!
The pond series lives! So excited to watch this project progress.

Edwin, your one lucky man! I always had a dream of having my own pond to fish.
Looks like great fishing ponds. I need to come up there in a couple years so I can catch my first small mouth
That is crazy all the garbage you had to go through Edwin, sorry to hear it.
Amazing!! Living the dream! My goal is to live on a farm with a couple of ponds like this.
Low number line for the bluegill pond equals shark attack feel! Get the spinners ready!😂😂😂

I hope the big lake has a boat ramp lol. Not practical but would be useful for testing electronics on running the motor before a long trip
I have always wanted to build a big pond myself, Hope it works out for you,
The ponds look great I remember when you started them. Can you electric shock the pond to get the fish go. Keep up the good work
Thanks

You have a wonderful place
I am envious of your property, I did not know Smallmouth could thrive in OK.

Thoroughly enjoy your pond series Ed! What if you could circulate some water in the smallie pond? Moving water is cooler. Right?
Thanks for pond update that would be fun to catch up smallmouth never caught one I live in Collinsville just saying 😀

2lb bluegill? 10lb largemouth?.... what a great project and learning experience about managing fisheries. Keep up the great work and awesome videos!
Great video
Appreciate sharing
You need couple small ponds for minnow and shiner breeding.
