    You said you can see the bass on side scan, I can hardly ever see them on side view! Could you do a video of what your graphs look like when you are idling and what you see?

    “It’s about having a bait, where the bass live.” So many people forget about that and focus solely on the bait itself. Good stuff !!!!

    How deep were those bass you were catching on that worm. I went Monday too,i scanned over 30 points and multiple islands and could not find a school. Fished 9 hours without a bite. I spent all my time midlake,the water is so clear down lake. Lake pressure is unbelievable since the pandemic, fishing has changed for the worst. You make the best videos out there man.

    • @michaelrichards8910
      @michaelrichards8910 3 роки тому

      True that. I believe dbl E might be right, 90%of the fish in 10 % of the lake. I have trouble tracking them down too. But if I ever do find them that just could be the best fishing day ever. That's what makes us bassin fools keep trying

    • @chrisfoley3320
      @chrisfoley3320 3 роки тому +1

      @@michaelrichards8910 we think the same way,when i have trouble catching them it makes me try that much harder. I was in the sun 9 hours yesterday in 96 degree heat and came home,started rigging rods,looking at maps of lower end of the lake and going to try again Thursday.

    • @michaelrichards8910
      @michaelrichards8910 3 роки тому

      Yeah I was exactly like that when I was younger, but nowadays 9 hr's in 96 is more likely to put me to sleep when I get home and settled in. Still even now, it's a lot easier to just leave the lake when I've had a good day than a bad. Hate not being able to figure them.

    Use a light blade bait or a light spoon on those days they bust on baby shad and won’t hit a crank. Lead it with an inline weight. Or Carolina rig a salamander with a small weight and slow crank it. Salamander not a brush hog.

One question though, do you prefer to fish up, down or along the breaks and points in the summer? I know you're supposed to try all those if you think the right fish are there, but any tips on that would sure save a little battery life and time. Thanks as always and good luck on your next outing. I personally have steered clear from the offshore. However, in the last month I have been looking for them offshore. What about underwater islands in the middle of a lake? Will bass hang out around them?

    Question Mr. Evers, with the swim bait, what would be a good color and size to use at night? I live in North Eastern Tennessee and the lake I fish most of the time is VERY DEEP and clear. It's a hard lake to figure out for me, I grew up fishing for mostly largemouth in water 20 feet or less. Did alot of fishing in central Florida, got family that lives about 5 minutes away from Big Toho Marina. Thanks and stay safe out there on and off the water. Semper Fi from an old Marine.

      There is no magic answer but a few things to keep in mind and remember are:
      Longer rod, wind behind your back, have 20-24 inches of line out to help shoot the bait in the sky and don’t overfill your reel.
