EMDR mimics REM sleep, which is the state that allows your brain to process things. EMDR helped me come to terms with my cousin’s murder. This was a great episode…much love to all!!!
Understanding why someone hurt you is not letting them off the hook, it's absolving it and allowing yourself to not feel that stress any more. Understanding that they're human too is part of it but it doesn't excuse it, it allows us to understand it and move past it. there Is a difference
Hey, Steve-O! I just got my certification as a Peer Support Worker in New Mexico and I'm currently working at a Residential Treatment Center 💪🧠. You're recovery is a huge inspiration and influence that's helped bring me to the place that I am today. Thank you for everything you do!!
26:17 tremendo is just tremendous in spanish. Same definition. The difference is that when we refer to kids as tremendous, it usually means they're too much too handle, rude, etc.
Thanx to you both for sharing your experiences and insights. I love you Kevin... Your honest insights have been sooo helpful to me. I relate to you and your experiences... To many parallels to recount... But I've learned a lot from you. Thanx for being truthful about who you were and who you've become... Thanks again to both of you for sharing... I appreciate your generosity. ✌️😎👍
Steve, believe it or not, we’re kind of tired of Rehab war stories. Especially from reoccurring guests we all knew had drug problems. Try and widen your audience again. Rememeber only 5% of people stay clean and sober after rehab. Even if 100% of those people watch your podcast you’re not gonna make much money talking to the same ex-addicts over and over. Oh my god we were rich and famous and got addicted to drugs and sex feel sorry for us. It’s just a huge pity party and it can’t be an outlet for regular people with addiction problems because they can’t afford to go to Arizona for two weeks and explore their childhood trauma
You think you’re really speaking for the majority? Shut up and stop deflecting. You’re like when i see people complain about comedy podcasts talking about comedy industry. Thats why I watch these shows. If you dont like that then watch a different show duh. Theres like a million podcasts out there. Your criticism is so weird and out of place.
Idk why my reply got deleted but you are not the majority, stop speaking like “WE” feel this way when ITS A YOU PROBLEM! Obviously you are deflecting. You don’t speak for anybody else. I WANT to hear these stories.
It's funny what people justify doing, saying or thinking because of their deity of choice. It's bizarre to me that people can't imagine living a moral, selfless life without fearing said deity.
He's likable and honest and I've always seen that. I like Kevin Smith the dude, even if I don't like everything he makes. I hope he feels better and better and finds that sweet spot between being a public persona and just a human being. I think this podcast is one of the few bits of online content that will hopefully enlighten more and more people as to the importance of mental health and de-stigmatizing all that. Thank you.
I always liked Kevin Smith back when he was completely clean, before he started up smoking weed with Seth Rogan's encouragement. I'm glad to hear that he's cleaning up.
The litigating narcissistic traits bit make it wholly transparent that Kev and Steve are incredibly self-indulgent, I mean I love em...anyone else pick this up or am I off?
Are you incredibly slow or do you just not watch a lot of their stuff? I enjoy both but yeah, their whole brand is themselves talking about themselves. They’re like Stan Lee, they just know that they’re marketable or at least to some they are.
The one guy who can out talk Steve
Didn't even give Steveo a chance to interupt
First thing I thought Steve-O met his match 😂
It’s the one reason I even clicked to watch the video and see if Kevin would dominate
@jasonmoser24 I personally think Kev won haha I have to give it to Steve O, though, he let Kevin do what Kevin does best, tell long stories in detail.
Perfect comment 😂
Steve and Kevin competing to talk over each other should be fun 😆🤣😆🤣
Love Kevin Smith & Steve-O Chatting, last time was literally- out of this world!
Kevin Smith is also my favorite episode ever. Dude is a fucking legend!!
I just got sober. 8 days clean. Thank you for this! ❤
I don't think stevo has ever talked to little. Holy crap Kevin talks
Your first episode with Kevin Smith was my favorite too. I'm happy Kevin has found genuine peace since last he was on the show.
EMDR mimics REM sleep, which is the state that allows your brain to process things. EMDR helped me come to terms with my cousin’s murder. This was a great episode…much love to all!!!
These are the super heavy episodes, the episodes that you finish feeling more enlightened ❤

i wonder who’s gonna cut each other off more in this episode
Kevin, Steve, Thank you for this.
These conversations are so fucking needed, my brothers and sisters.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Proud of you Steve man you've come a long way
Yeah STEVEO is awesome
Forgot to beep Mrs Vailen’s the teachers name lol
She's probably deceased. But good to call her out awful to say that to young kevin.
He has dropped her name in the past. She is probably not alive anymore if she was an older lady in the late 70s/early 80s.
The hate in these comments is wild to me. Great ep as always Steve-O!
Also keep it up Kevin! Happy for you.
2 of my favorite people. Kevin needs a podcast. I feel like he could of been bigger than new rockstars
Favorite episode in a while!! Childhood worlds coming together!! Thanx Steve!!
came to see how little steveo will be talking when u got the king of talkers on the show lol
I wonder who the director is that Kevin is talking about, who didn't even shoot a second of footage for a movie that made over $1 billion.
Glad to see you back. Love the mental health talks too. 💜
Kevin Smith is THAT dude! Great to see him on here. Thanks for sharing, fellas. Best of luck to the both of you going forward.
Incredibly powerful episode sharing trauma. You guys are incredible. Thank you!
I swear to god if they joke about making a movie and we have another Tusk situation on our hands
Kevin asked theo to be in the next jay and silent bob as Jays long lost brother
I'd love another Tusk situation. I thought that movie was interesting and unique
Thank you so much for this episode . Love you guys

Two people who talk for a living. This should be a busy episode.
i was just watching a bunch of kevin smith videos.. this is fucking insane
Same! Like an all-nighter binge!
good episode
Always love KS and Wild Ride crew is always on point.
Yeah dude another great talk with kevin smith, cant wait to hear it
Steveo as a middle class person who lives in Texas, having an airstrip on your property is a normal want
“That teacher is/was a Khant!!!”
I still haven't forgiven you for what you did with Masters Of The Universe Revolations.
Yeah dude!!
Now this is the podcast we have been waiting for!!

A sequel to the best episode of The Wild Ride? Gonna Make it a trilogy?
I’d liked to have seen the nursery teachers reaction to his mum smiling after saying he was terrible 😂
Hearing him speak his mind is amazing 18:15

It's funny how God or Christianity gets blamed for what man does using Christianity.

This shits heavy
Just watched theos so I won’t be watching this !

Theo and steve o 😎
Nothing gets me harder than hearing Steve O . I imagined my wife with that voice ,,bluecheey all over wall...
The most talkative episode?
I always liked Kevin Smith back when he was completely clean, before he started up smoking weed with Seth Rogan's encouragement. I'm glad to hear that he's cleaning up.
if you want a longer version of Kevin not shutting TF up... check, Theo Vons TPW 😂
Already did. This is next
2 of my heroes! Oh my gosh so stoked for this episode! Love Steve-O and Love Kev....ahhh so stoked ❤
Yeahhh Dudeeee
hahahahaha

I meant in that moment, it read narcissistic to me. God that word is getting beat to death these days...
urgh
Steve always try to be like Theo and Rogan 😂
Don't waste your time watch his interview with Theo Von instead. Your welcome
What's the movie?
'The 4:30 Movie' is Kev's latest, basically looks like Clerks in a movie theater. Being a film nerd I'll watch it, but I'm tempering my expectations
