Shame IS so undercooked with L!Guin, considering the madness and lunacy that came before and after her in Legendary heroes. Some slight fixes would be giving her Weapon dragon wall as an effect and making her C-Skill share her +5 to all stats and breath effect to allies too to make her at least a bit comparable to Gatekeeper as a Support.
Yeah it’s actually so strange LOL like it’s as if they purposefully made her underwhelming. Maybe there’s some zero to hero refine coming in a decade from now…
Nice video! Been looking forward to more of your content. And yeah, Chrom really had leg Seliph levels of zero to hero refine, one of the most reliable counters for winter Byleth

Yeah, I didn’t summon on her release for a reason…I wonder what they were thinking. Sometimes they pump out Legendary Caeda and sometimes they make Legendary Hinoka LOL
im so excited for LMByleth's remix and refine, I still use him in AR for the drive NFU (which yes is very outdated, but it's nice to have) and he's got so much Atk/Spd he's just a nuke. sometimes you have those saves that just won't die but thankfully he comes in clutch. when it's water season in Arena, since my LMByleth is +10 its where i can get the most value and highest scoring. i love using him, his Khadein alt and base alt and I will never get tired of him 😊
Playing with faves is the best way to play!! And you’re right, he’s still a very powerful nuke while also being quite unique and great. Can’t wait for his refine!
Excellent tier list, Byleth is just an interesting case indeed, I still use him in arena to great effect, he has basically everything, he just needs more firepower and maybe other effect(an anti scowl effect maybe?), also is kinda funny that he's bulky enough to tank and kill back most non precharged refined LChroms lmao, certainly the only one of the "oldies" capable of ranking even higher once his refine drops.
I still love my L!M!Byleth, I was so happy when he made it to the AHR 2022 banner and I don’t regret summoning for him at all. I can’t wait for his refine, here’s hoping he only goes up!
@ENEMii-IRL Kinda same, LMByleth chose me during his debut banner, I was aiming for only 1 copy of Dagr that I was missing, the result: 7 LMByleth, 1 Dagr, 3 Hel...somehow... then I finished him at AHR, such is the way of gacha I guess hahaha, hoping for a good refine as well, even a mid one would do.
After E!Ike, with either Lagus Friend or especially his Emblem skill, I consider my fully maxed out L!Guin to be in top shape, able to survive both Lyon and Sanaki back to back and killing them with her effective damage.
I disagree with Azura being as high as Ninian bc Ninian brings better action economy which is just key in SD and she's one of the few legendaries who actually fits in precise strategies in galeforce and hit and run for AR O + she has a lot of unpredictability in AR D. Meanwhile Azura's support is a bit more of a clutch factor and not a thing you base your plan on imo. Aside from that, I think the list is accurate, very nice video !!
You make some great points, actually in my first few drafts of the script, Ninian was higher than Azura lol. I nudged Azura up because she’s a flier and I really value her giving extra movement in the long term if warping becomes hard countered in the meta, but you’re right, Ninian is just amazing and there’s a reason why I just love using Ninian over Azura every water season haha. @@ENEMii-IRL Maybe I'm just too biased (personally think the flying dancer lobby is sneakily gaslighting the community into thinking that they are better than what they really are but that's another subject haha), but in practical I've found more use to Ninian, basically using her in 90% of the water sseasons in AR O in 2023 I believe haha, glad you like her too ! Great tier list video! Legendary Leif is by far my favorite water legendary. His ranged galeforce is just super fun to play around. And Leif is also my favorite lords in fire emblem. But sadly can't really run him in arena, when Legendary chrom is just so broken in that mode lmao.
If I made a “fun” tier list, Leif’s going in S Tier!!! You have great taste, and it’s awesome they made so many good skills for cavs now so you can treat him well!
I'm having success against L!Chrom with L!Leif by bringing a green melee unit as a score bot. Many Chroms have ditched close counter, so I'm able to chip Chrom down with the melee unit, kill him with L!Leif, and then kill a second enemy with L!Leif's zeal. The rest is just clean-up, especially if Chrom got himself overextended. It can work. Trust me.
Fantastic editing as usual man!!! I personally feel the dancers will always be the highest tier, particularly since they free up a spot for scoring in arena for another combat unit and their utility is just unmatched in all modes. It’s the same reason I feel the fairies will never drop from highest tier in AR. I do think Ninian is the best because being able to act again is just too good. It’s why L!Leif is still so good till this day and it’s why Gullveig is so unique too! I do feel L!Chrom is slightly below them too, but can definitely see why some would prefer him over them. In SD he’s definitely more valuable and his power really scaled well with the refine. Anyways, great stuff man!

I dont even summon on these banners most of the time (seeing as I dont bother with competitive modes), but whenever I do, ill make sure to use this (and future lists) as a refrence!

I’d bump Fjorm up over Eirika and Dimitri over Leif. Mostly because of how rare Lance infantry units are, and both of them are solid and fast enough to be built as god lances. Even though the age of godswords and omni ranks have passed, infantry swords are still some of the more commonly encountered foes due to their high scoring and over abundance.

I still use L!Byleth every Season. He's one of only two legendaries I merged up to +10 (the other being Veronica) and one of my favorite units in the game. It's time to majorly overhaul his kit though as powercreep has been very noticeable. He actually comes in clutch every now and again when some tanks simply have too much DR for my other units. I've been debating whether or not to merge up L!Ninian too as I've gotten very lucky with her (and unlucky with my actual targets). Dancing really is a blessingnin Arena
L!M!Byleth is awesome and he’s a personal fave of mine too haha. I love his prf special but yeah he’s showing his age a little bit. I think if Ninian happens to be on a share you were already interested in, she’s certainly a great option…I make it a personal rule to get every dancer legendary because they’re just so useful lol

Guinevere did a good chunk of damage to L!Leif, and then died on his brave retaliation. Keep in mind, that was probably a +10 Guinevere who definitely had bonus stats. And yet, death was her reward. Just sad.

It actually dosen't (tested it just to be sure), AOE specials trigger before start of combat so they activate vantage but since Camilla's damage is done at the start of combat, just before attacks, vantage can't trigger. But even then you could just run Hardy Bearing Sacred Seal to counter vantage

Also would Tina with the thief staff be a slight counter to Chrom as it takes all his buffs away? It saddens me as an Eirika fan that she sucks so much but hey I still use her for minor modes now and then, not to mention I have a +7 Ceada that was by accident I’m hoping her being melee flier means she’ll get a decent glow up but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

And on the bright side, both Eirika and Caeda have amazing art! Fingers crossed Caeda gets a great refine…
Oh yeah if your talking summoner duels then your yes chrom probably is the better pick of course I can’t say much on Summoner duels as I avoid that mode like the plague as it’s basically just torture at this point 😂😭
I will never listen discouraging to summon and usage of my lord Dimitri but the truth is that he lack the weird power to beat winter duo male Byleth but I wonder giving this L!Dimitri no quarter how would it look like because he is not bound to be run only exclusively as a vital astra or galeforce or godlike reflexes but also as a other op offensive skill user and while Camilla and Elincia are so god tier for water and wind they also can be easily killed by Dimitri and than there's Chrom who is special and by that I mean he shred winter duo male Byleth because his bow is super extra effective on armored units and he move 3 time with the help of his husband brave Robin😂 when his rally spectrum charge galeforce ...or you run deadeye and move only 2 time
In terms of an aging standpoint, infantry swords are the most common archetype in FEH and they just can’t stop making newer ones lol. There’s also only so many ways you can design a melee infantry, so from a competition standpoint, that’s the role most prone to being outclassed because of the sheer frequency of newer options. And then from a role standpoint in the current meta, the short answer is that their role/niche just is less relevant compared to other roles that became more valued instead. Caeda got such a dysfunctional kit, she was practically dead on arrival. I think her OG form had more meta relevance than her legendary.

L!Guinivere might be a little undertuned but she can be stupid strong in AR-O with Mythic blessings and all of the magic nukes running around.

Agreed. Being a flying unit cannot count as much as being given a free action after dancing, with firesweep effect on top of it

I gave L!Dimitri finish 4, a/s pledge & m counter seal and he's so useful in almost all my AR team

Vantage actually destroys Camilla because it's at start of combat and the damage is before combat.

There’s also only so many ways you can design a melee infantry, so from a competition standpoint, that’s the role most prone to being outclassed because of the sheer frequency of newer options.
