As you were going through the various version of SimCity I can honestly say I didn't see the card game twist coming. Very cool video. The smell gag at the end was especially good.

I was convinced this was going to be some weird, somehow-a-third-party-company-acquired-the-license video game. I did not guess a card game. At all. For as terrible as the 2013 Sim City was, I would enjoy seeing another city-builder take a crack at some kind of multiplayer. Also Magic Spoon is pretty good. I work nights and sleep days, and it's my go-to for "breakfast" before I crawl into bed when I'm too tired to cook (which is often).
That Magic Spoon ad made me laugh. "It's keto-friendly, gluten free, grain free, wheat free (which is already included in grain free), soy free..." So it's just shredded up cardboard?
My biggest question is where the heck did you manage to find unopened starter decks and booster packs for.... Sim City The Card Game? Ebay? I can't imagine any stores selling it. Well... I'm a curious person so of course I checked and of course there are factory sealed starter decks for sale on Ebay for 60$.
I know Jared doesn't do the ratings anymore, but if he did, I'd imagine the card game would get a "Square Peg in a Round Hole/10." You can try to force SimCity to be a card game all you want, but it just doesn't fit, and it never will.
